Possibly the worst fast food experience I’ve ever had. The food was just bad. Burger patties easily a full inch smaller in diameter than the buns they were on, I don’t think they’re using the standard Burger King patties. My girlfriend’s fries were hot and fresh, but my onion rings somehow managed to be both hard as a rock and undercooked. The drinks were flat as a pancake and tasted off, neither of us managed to force down more than two sips. The staff seemed nice and attentive but the whole store was a wreck. The drink station looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days, with trash scattered around and the dining room wasn’t much better. In addition to all this, the A/C was off in the restaurant on a day where it passed 90 degrees outside. the thermostat on the wall read 87 and it was not comfortable. I think it’s telling that the Dairy Queen 20 yards away had a drive-thru line around the building and yet the Burger King had more employees than customers the whole time we were there. Fast food is fast food, and I don’t expect the world, but this place was horrible.

I had an avocado hamburger at the Burger King in Japan, so I just called this burger king(5:00pm EST) to ask if they had it as well, and the woman on the phone got an attitude and hung up on me. I will never go to this Burger King.

Ordered a combo meal, a smoothie, and chicken nuggets in the drive through lane at around 9:45PM. there were no customers inside, and no car in front of me. I ordered my food and I get to the window and pay. Then, she disappears. and I wait. and wait… and wait… and wait… While I was waiting a car came up behind me, who also had to wait. And I understand that sometimes it takes a while to cook something, but in those cases they usually tell you that it’s going to be a while and give an estimated time and ask if I want to wait and if I do, to pull up and they bring it out. right? Right. This lady did NOT do this! If I had known that it would take that long, I would have either changed my order or cancelled that item. We waited somewhere between 10 – 15 minutes at that window. and that is just too long and couldn’t even just leave because we paid and she didn’t come near the window until she brought the food after all that time! Poor customer service management

Yeah, another fast-food review; but it might help someone who’s in a rush. I really like Burger King stuff generally, but there are consistently several problems with this particular Cary location. First, the soft drinks are either too sweet or not sweet enough, and are too flat – the result of slack management of the soda/syrup balance. Second, the drive-through staff are a bit surly at times and seem overworked. Third, I have yet to receive a sandwich that didn’t have way too much lettuce and mayo and not enough catchup – and that’s true even when I specifically ask for them to pay a little extra attention to those issues. It’s not hard to get fast food right: just make it look like it looks on the TV commercials.
