We go here once every few weeks and the food and service is always spectacular! Every server we have had is very friendly and we have yet to be disappointed with any dish. The Gravy and chili is amazing.

The food was good. Not the service. The female cashier as we are leaving. Walk in front of us. And block the walkway. And tried to step our foot. She was looking at a male customer. And had to ask her to do her job. She would look at the same male customer. While we were trying to pay. She was the hostess. And only would volunteer to wait on male customers. WWhe had to ask her to do her job. She would walk in front of us. And try to step on the foot. And not ask us where we want to sit. She told us to sit in a booth that was dirty. The hispanic females clean the table. They refused. We were wondering what was going on. And had to tell a co-worker that we are on a time limit. And not clear the table. We have to leave. The table. was cleared quickly. The waitress was eating a meal. And had to ask a manager to get wait on. The waitress was eating. While wait on us. She said not want to write down the order. Reminded her that customers tip. she rushed to get rid of us, talk back rude, yell at us, walk away from wait on us. And we had to ask her to come back and finish the job. We got a tiny container of salad dressing. Nobody wanted mayonnaise, cheese, onions, and pickles in the salad. And that is what we got. And only wanted lettuce and tomato. In the salad with a better container of ranch salad dressing. The hamburger was burned with cheese on it. We not ask for the cheese. And had to have it corrected. We not order ¾ ice in the diet soda. We not want diet soda and ice in the drink. Had to have it corrected. And asked for a free beverage. Compensation. The size of drinking glasses is big. And had problems of the waitress not want to come back to the table. To see if we want anything else. We decided not have dessert there. The plates are big with a lot of food on it. The value is good for the price paid. a lot of good items on the menu. Soups and good desserts.

Food is pretty decent. I enjoy the steak and eggs. Its located in the Crossroads shopping area, so convenience is key. Servers– Pleasant new, young faces. Can only get better from here. Next time you’re in the Cary, Crossroads area, stop on by.

I eat here fairly often for breakfast and have pretty consistently been pleased with the meal. The French toast griddle combo is tasty and filling. My only suggestion to them would be to use different coffee. The coffee is bitter and weak. I drink it but it is definitely the weak link on the menu.

I was hesitant to try this Bob Evans as the first of the chain my family would try based on all of the negative reviews for service. Even though we went on a Sunday morning(prime time for breakfast spots!), we were greeted warmly and seated quickly. We did end up waiting a while for someone to come and take our order and I think I made an impatient expression that someone clearing off a table noticed. I heard her call in on a little mic to notify the servers that we were ready by stating our table number. Our server rushed right out to us at that point and we didn’t need to wait any longer than usual. That said, the service was polite and efficient for a busy Sunday morning. We had breakfast dishes for our first visit here, but my husband was already eyeing the savory dinner dishes so we will probably give those a shot at another time. I do like that the menu is rather diverse(still diner food though, nothing too crazy) for children and has pictures for pre-readers. The menu does read a lot like a Denny’s or IHOP for novices to Bob Evans like how we were. It’s a big menu, lots of dishes — likely everyone will find something they’ll be happy choosing. A note on the coffee — it was surprisingly good! It wasn’t as good as the stuff we make at home, but it was much better than the stuff you get at most breakfast diner chains(or gas stations). My daughter loved her scrambled eggs and my husband seemed happy with his omelette. I didn’t love my «sampler» breakfast, but the biscuits were pretty good here. I will probably need to look around a bit more on the vast menu to find something that I’d enjoy more if we return for another visit. But, I’m also pretty sure we’d come back for lunch/dinner and not breakfast, so maybe I’ll start eyeing that part of the menu instead… but, breakfast is served all day, so I just might have to give a crêpe a try at some point!

I have to stop eating at this chain. Every time I go there, I come home and within an hour, I have diarrhea. I looked up their allergen menu even though I am not prone to allergies and saw that almost every single item has MSG, which can be an unknown sensitivity to a lot of people. Even when I order items not listed on the msg info sheet, I still get sick. They must cook everything on the same grill thereby cross contaminating allergens with non allergen items. When most restaurants stopped using msg 10 years ago, it seems Bob Evans didn’t get the message.

Have eaten at this location many times before. It’s a favorite of my mom and I am always happy with both the food & service. We went labor day for breakfast and I was shocked to see it not crowded. The breakfast food is always good but the lunch & dinner menu is pretty lengthy. The burgers also look mouthwatering. I was fortunate to get a coupon in the mail & they also offered a booklet of coupons at the register. It’s a special treat to find all-turkey breakfast meat. The crepes I had this morning were delicious & enough to last mean breakfast & lunch. The under 450 calorie meals are a little on the skimpy side but still flavorful. The coffee comes in the entire pot & you’re welcome to help yourself. I’ve also had the grits & the hash browns which were delicious. I look forward to trying the rest of their menu. & I will keep returning till I have a less than perfect experience.

I almost feel kind of silly reviewing Bob Evans, but we’ve always found this particular location to be convenient for grabbing a quick breakfast bite. The servers are always friendly and helpful and treat us like old friends. They recently remodeled and it looks very nice. The food is nothing spectacular — just your standard Bob Evans bacon and eggs type stuff — but it’s consistently decent. We appreciate the good service we get here and will continue to keep going back. Do it… go!

Giving this two stars because we enjoyed the food, just not the service. My mom and I were staying in Cary for an event over the past weekend, and after driving 8 hours we were tired. We decided we just wanted something good, but simple. It was a Saturday night and most of the other restaurants in the area were pretty packed. We were sat right away and the dining room was pretty empty, looked like only about 10 tables taken up. We waited 15 minutes before someone finally came over to the table, and it was the manager. I am assuming he had seen that we had been sitting there for quite sometime with out having someone greet us. He took our drink order and dinner order for us and was very pleasant. The woman who was supposed to be our server brought our drinks over and left them. There was no introduction or anything. This is pretty much how the rest of the night went. When she did come over and talk to us she told us things we really didn’t need to know and was very strange. She acted like she was either off their meds or needs to be put on something. She was pretty absent the entire time and like I said, when she was there it was strange. The food was good and just what we wanted for the night, so I would visit another Bob Evans. The server in the next section, Ashley, seemed to be very nice and on top of what she was doing. I wish we had her! I did leave an 18% tip because as a server I know how hard it is to make money.

Very disappointed with this Bob Evans. I’ve eaten at other Bob Evans and loved it. Not sure what’s going on here. Service was par at best.

They don’t have Bob Evans where I live, so the novelty of it was pretty fun. They have a delicious breakfast menu. Biscuits and sausage gravy were awesome.

Good food and very friendly servers. I’ve only eaten breakfast, and they’re consistently good… will add a star if their dinners are just as good.

I ate here on Monday with my 22 year old son. He had never been to a Bob Evans and so he was apprehensive. This was my 3rd visit to a Bob Evans and it was always a great experience. Friendly, good service, great food for the price! I love the banana bread that you have the option to have with your meal! I love their salads and also tried the tomato soup! I hot a «real bowl» size and it was awesome. Chilis and Applebees should take some noted. My son had his favorite grilled chicken sandwich but the best part was the bill!!! Affordable! I have to remember this location the next time I am shopping on the Cary area!

We went to bob evans this morning and had the pleasure of having Joel B. as our server. Saying it was amazing service would not give this experience any justice! He was absolutely happy the whole time and went the extra mile to make us extremely happy. Joel we just want to say THANKYOU! You will see us again soon!!!

This is a chain restaurant, so do not come here to find anything unique or creative. What they do, however, they usually do pretty well. They serve breakfasts, lunches, and dinners all the time. I particularly like their sausage gravy on biscuits. This particular Bob Evans seems a bit more inconsistent than others in the chain. I have on occasion been served food that was overcooked, and the last time we were here, the gravy on the meatloaf and mashed potatoes was way too salty. Still, if you have a hankering for farm style food and don’t want to spend much money, this is a good place to come.
