Definitely one of the most amazing sandwiches I’ve ever had, wow! These guys know how to mix flavors. My favorite is the California club sandwich toasted. You won’t regret it!

What brought us here is that it is across the street from IKEA and we were not in the mood for Swedish Meatballs. I showed the woman at the counter the Unilocal Check In, and she pointed out the $ 20 minimum. There was no way I thought we’d hit that with just 2 of us, but then I saw the prices of the sandwiches. This place should not be rated as a one-$ restaurant. My companion ordered the Italian Combo($ 9.50 –that meant a combo of meats, not that it included chips and a drink) and I got the Tuna Salad sandwich($ 8.50). So we ordered one drink to put us at $ 21.57, with tax. I thought the Tuna on wheat bread was very good. Lots of Tuna and toppings, and I added pickles. Included pickled red onion and spring onion, which I thought was interesting. I wouldn’t have noticed, except that I saw it on the menu, but it certainly added to the good taste. The Italian Combo was served on a torpedo roll, with Italian sausage, meatballs, provolone, bell peppers, and marinara sauce. Meatballs were much better than sausage. They did have an interesting variety of chips. We shared black pepper and sea salt. Not crowed, but steady stream of people. Clean. I would have given 4 stars, but for the prices.

Give this place a chance! Portion size is great bang for your money. I had the Italian hoagie minus the pimento and pepperoncini and loved it. The guy taking my order was slow… maybe he’s new.

Soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and Jason’s friendly customer service kept me inside. I ordered the Cali club and it was amazing. I hate subway but I love a great sandwich and this is the place to go. Everything on my sandwich was fresh and it just melted in my mouth. Great people and amazing food. –Brittney

Serious? The pastrami was slightly above bland, stringy and fatty. Expensive to boot. For chips and drink the total was $ 13! They turn the screen and if you charge your meal good luck trying to figure out how not to tip. There is no fresh brewed ice tea either major bummer. Don’t unlock the special, you have to spend $ 20 to get the deal. Togo’s hot pastrami number 9 blows this place out of the water. Big disappointment.

Ordered DTLA pastrami and it is the worst sandwich ever. I asked for a non dip sandwich but obviously they still dipped it so the bread is so soggy, who wants to eat a soggy bread? Their food are overpriced too never coming back here.

Walked in and was greeted immediately… first good impression. Menu looks awesome and quality looks great which set my expectations high. I ordered the combo dip which was packed with high quality meats, a fresh roll, and steaming au Ju, just the way it should be. Everything was great and I’ll definitely be back to try anther one of the impressive menu options.

I was pretty excited to try this place because I’m a big fan of deli sandwiches. However, I really was disappointed in the customer service and quality of food. The owner, I presume, had an annoyed demeanor when I ordered my food. I don’t know if it’s because he was having a bad morning or dealing with his own personal issues. But if you are going to be bad tempered I suggest you send a line worker to work the cash register. Second, i ordered the Italian hoagie. Let me tell you it wasn’t as appetizing as I expected. There was too much bread and vegetables, not enough meat. Overall, it wasn’t a well made sandwich. Also, I wouldn’t have minded the price if there was proper service and the food was actually good.

Great customer service, awesome staff very helpful & friendly. We went with the DTLA pastrami, Beef dip, & California club. All three sandwiches were stuffed to the max :-p both the bread and the meat taste fresh. We could only finish half the sandwich so with that being said no complaints on the price. Parking is no different then any other mini shopping center. We came on a Sunday so found parking right in front. Desert was delish! It was a mix of brownie & cookie…

I used to always come to this plaza for Quiznos and Starbucks now this place replaced Quiznos so the not so good here first is the parking it shares the small parking lot with GameStop, AT&T and Starbucks hmm need a bigger parking lot here for sure. Place is nice although pricey. The meats are fresh and same with the breads. I got the California Club which had turkey, cheese and bacon with a pesto basil spread I opted the veggies cause I’m weird like that with veggies in my sandwiches lol. It was ok I wouldn’t say it was bad or the best it was the in between. The staff is excellent here very nice and attentive. This is a nice alternative from other fast food sandwich places. I may go back when I’m undecided on what to pick up for lunch.

Let’s NOT and say we did… Too bad I didn’t think that BEFORE I ate here. How do you get a COLD sandwich wrong? So with co-worker in tow we headed off to lunch. Not really any idea of where we wanted to go but we figured we would figure it out along the way and we did when we noticed a new deli resident where the Quiznos used to reside so we thought we would try them out. Why did we think that? First off parking is a ENGINEERINGNIGHTMARE! Whomever was the person at city hall the that said it was OK to split the property 3 different ways should be fired. If you pass up the entrance you have to go all the way around making a U-turn, left turn, and jump backward a couple time while turning around in circles just to get back to the entrances. just to get to one of 2 poorly placed parking entrances. RIDIC Once you park and walk in this place is new so they have no posted menus. I figured I would buy my coworkers lunch because she always drives most of the time. She ordered the pastrami dip which was a dip roll, pastrami, provolone cheese, deli mustard, pickles, and Au Jus for dipping. And she got chips and a bottled drink. I ordered the California Club which was sour dough bread, Natar Turkey breast, Swiss cheese, basil pesto, avocado, pickled red onion, shredded iceberg lettuce and no tomato. I also added on bow tie pasta salad, and a bottled drink. As Kenny G says so eloquently… I clutched my pearls when the total came to $ 30 plus dollars. WTH! Did I just hear him right or am I hallucinating? Is Jesus in the back making my DAYUM sandwich and adding in the His special miracle mustard that will make me drop 10 lbs BEFORE I get back to work? Are you using some special ORGANIC bread that contains NOCALORIES, or FAT? After I caught my breath I paid and we took a seat ONCE we found a CLEAN table! The place was empty yet they had NOTIME to make sure tables were CLEANEDOFF! REALLY! A short time later our sands came out and while mine look good it was as dry as the Sahara Desert so I had to go back up and ask for a side of mustard to moisten it up so I could get it down my throat without choking on it. My co-eater had to ASK for her Au Jus sauce and the guy behind the counter told her that he had ALREADY dipped the meat into the sauce before putting it on her sand. WHAT! Ummm even Arby’s gives you a side of the au jus sauce. Maybe we should have went there. He finally coughed up the sauce and we ate. Neither of us were impressed! I will say the portion sizes were REALLYBIG so I only managed to eat half plus I had my side of bow tie pasta of which I wasn’t impressed either. I even added in some banana pepper juice and STILL no zing or anything special. I think our polluted air would have been better. I doubt I will be going back here. I can’t see myself spending $ 15 for an underwhelming lunch when I can go else where and be WOW’d or at the very least feel satisfied, which I didn’t here.

First timer… The two young guys working this evening were friendly. We exchanged small talk and a few laughs. When I asked for their suggestion between veggie and tuna, they both said tuna, which is what I ordered. It was full of flavor. The pickled red onion gave it just enough«umph». Meat was not skimpy and the young guy who made my sandwich was quick. The thai iced tea wasn’t too sweet = a plus. Prices are about average, maybe slightly higher, than other sandwich places. Only cons: They were out of to-go menus. I also didn’t realize the tuna came on sliced wheat bread. Next time, I’ll order a deli loaf or something other.

Got the DTLA pastrami. There’s three rules to a great sandwich. 1. It’s big 2. It’s not dry 3. It doesn’t fall apart at the end. They hit all three for me!

Bad first impression Order: American Hoagie, chicken salad and Frito pie. While waiting for the food I noticed they charged me $ 4.99 for the Frito pie when their sign said $ 3.50. I told the cashier when we brought me my food. His reply was«yay the signs wrong» and walked away. The photos on Unilocal shows shredded cheese and mine had nacho cheese. 1 they charge more for this but give you cheaper ingredients and 2 I hate nacho cheese The chicken sales was good 4 out of 5 American hoagie okay 3 out of 5, bread was too dry. Over all this place is over priced and bad customer service. I will not return.

My hubby decided to come here for our Friday date night. I was thinking… wow, Carson is kind of far and for sandwiches. I was too tired from work so decided to just jump in the car. It took us over an hour to get here. We were lucky to found parking in the front of the restaurant. This place use to be a quiznos so it still reminded me of it. Nothing too fancy here. Just good old sandwiches and great people working the counter. I decided to go with the DTLA pastrami. This sandwiches has pastrami, swiss cheese, cole slaw and russian dressing. Their bread was prefect. I been cravings the Langers pastrami and this sandwich was on the same level. It was so good. I was only able to finish half! They load up your sandwich like it was your last sandwich on earth. We also got the DUI frito pie. It has chili pastrami, fritos, nancho cheese and onion. We ended up not adding the onion. Yummy. Kind of on the heavy side but great food for a cheat day. Overall, I would be back again and again! Awesome food and service!

Located in Carson by the Mall! Yes, parking sucks. Pedro can keep their Busy Bee hype! Carson got it on the real over here! Some things you might say while eating the food here: — Dayyyyyyyyyum! — Good Lawd! — Hot Damn! — Oooooooo Weeeeeee! - — Bam! …and Bam! — Now that’s a sandwich If you complain about the prices, you can keep eating yoga mats at Subway. BTW it’s not that much more expensive than other chains. The quality and quantity are on point here.

I’ve known about this place for the last few months, but I decided to try it today. Within stepping in, the place is very clean and the staff is very welcoming, especially Chris! He suggested the chicken salad sandwich, so of course I did. The chicken salad sandwich is delicious and they make your order when you order it, so it’s super fresh. I’ve been trying to find a chicken salad like this, for a long time. Along with the chicken breast meat, are walnuts and cranberries. Delicious! I made it a combo, which comes with chips and a beverage. I paid under $ 11 for the entire meal. The price may sound a bit much but the sandwich is a very generous size, so I made it into more than one meals. Thank you Chris for the best suggestion, and for the excellent customer service! They offer hot and cold sandwiches and a variety of desserts. I’ll definitely be coming back! Thank you!

Pure bliss in every bite! I am a restaurant owner and I like to try new sandwich spots where ever I go. By chance, I saw this restaurant as I was driving thru Carson. I am a stickler for good quality ingredients, but more importantly, good service to pair. I will say this… the deli counter had both! Let me go in order of what I ordered and ate. 1. Dtla pastrami — high quality meat(I know because I asked what brand it was) and the taste and texture was phenomenal. The coleslaw inside was homemade and fresh. Very subtle taste but enough to compliment the pastrami and Russian spread. They are very generous with their swiss cheese and meat. The only thing I would want is for them to go lighter on the spread and call me crazy, but less on the meat! Lol 2. Italian hoagie — literally a party in every bite! Their pickled red onion was fantastic! Fresh meat and fresh bread on top of that. What more can you ask for??? More! Please see #3. Call me crazy, but too much meat for me. Lol 3. Last but not least, frito pie! This straight reminded me of back in the days. A bag of fritos, nacho cheese, chili, and onion… except this one was on steroids! I was so full after eating half the pastrami and half the Italian, but I couldn’t stop eating the frito pie! Overall, I was very pleased with this restaurant and will frequent this place when I am anywhere near this city! Keep up the great work, jee!
