Great Choice Community Dental – Jane Hernane, DDS

I went there for a check up and I don’t ever want to return to this office. At first I thought it was an assistant because the dentist didn’t introduce herself and she just started working on my teeth. While she was working, she got up and left without saying anything and did her stuff in another room and came back. When she returned, she asked if I had any pain in my front side tooth and said that I needed a root canal. That the pain will come sooner or later and that I’ll need a root canal so they’ll give me an estimate since my insurance won’t cover such procedure.
My visit was for a simple teeth cleaning and for some reason my teeth felt so sensitive for a few weeks after my visit. I’ve had my teeth cleaned before and this was the first time ever feeling like that. I hate writing bad reviews but I just had to. Never going back again and I’m swithing providers.

Great dental clinic… i wait for an hr but it was worth it. I got big discount of my root canal. I recommend my all co worker here everybody was so happy.

So I made an appointment for my tooth. I noticed my filling came off n they did a regular check up n did not care for the tooth that’s been hurting. They try to make ANOTHER appointment I was like no I want this done today. The dr. Or dentist whoever she is trying to tell me it’s my wisdom teeth I’m telling her no its not that. Than she saying it’s my gums. –_​– omg I just wanted to refill my filling. So they told me to wait in the waiting room for 5 mins n she finally did it now I have no more PAIN. Overall experience they might have an degree but sometimes they just need to listen to the patient to see what’s wrong and why they are in today…

‘Service’ is not what Jane D. Hernane’s office gives. From the moment I walked into this dentist office for a routine cleaning and check up, I was incredibly uncomfortable. The receptionist was trying to do too much and didn’t get my correct once. I told him 3 times that my insurance was under my mother and he kept calling me by my mom’s name. This is the least of all the problems.
An hour after my scheduled appointment I was finally taken back to a dentist chair, which is all that it could be called. There were no individual rooms and I heard and saw everything that was going on with the patient next to me. He was getting both a root canal and a tooth extraction. There were no dental hygienists, just people running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It was stressful and alarming. Because there were no hygienists, the «Doctor» was doing everything. This means, in the middle of giving a root canal and doing an extraction, she was stopping and coming over to SORT of clean my teeth. She came over to me, looked at my teeth, said I had cavities that she would fill after the «cleaning». After she finished with the other patient, she scraped my teeth with some machine that hurt my teeth. Then she took her pick and dug into my gums, they started bleeding and she walked away. She in no way cleaned my teeth. I do a better job at home. She rubbed a little toothpaste on a FEW of my teeth and said I was done. She didn’t even floss them. Needless to say I declined the cavity filling because I didn’t even trust her cleaning. When I declined it they tried to give me a discount, which made me feel like they were money hungry and desperate.
No one should EVER go to this dentist. It was the worst experience I’ve EVER had with ANY doctor.
