My first time here and the food was amazing. The food is Homemade Authentic Style I tried the chile relleno and they were delicious just like home made. My son tried the Birria and he finish the whole plate and said he is definitely coming back. Our service was welcoming. We will be going back.

Food here is really good. Really homemade, the milanesa de pollo torta is super bomb. Can’t beat the prices and the quality of the food. Been going there for years for a quick bite to eat at lunch.

How have I never seen this place before? A friend took me here and it wasn’t too bad. The chicken flautas were flavorful and tender enough. My friend really likes their salsa that comes with the chips.

Ordered a Burrito Deluxe with chicken. Came with chips, salsa and a soda. Food came a few minutes after placing our order(quicker than I expected based on other reviews). The burrito had chicken, rice, beans and fresh avocado — didn’t detect any sour cream inside, so asked for some on the side. Food quality was fair. A decent value for $ 8. Not large inside the restaurant. Limited seating. Went into restaurant wanting to order a chili relleno, as the name of the place suggests, but my stomach steered my towards a chicken burrito. Next time I will have to order the relleno.

I’ve lived in Carson for almost 4 years and up until recently, I had not noticed Chile Relleno. I came across it on here and I’m so glad that I did! I had a carne asada sope and a chicken gordita. They both delicious and came with fresh lettuce, tomato, sour cream, and queso fresco! Their red salsa was nice and spicy. I will definitely be returning soon!

This place fucking sucks… Idk why it’s 4.5 ordered a pastor burrito with no rice… skimpy burrito was just slight bigger than a taco bell bean and cheese… horrible…never again. Much better places in the area… I should just gone to taco sinaloa down the street.

The service is here is slow… but wait the food is awesome… I had to try the namesake Chile Rellenos… the chilies roasted to perfection then stuffed with cheese. with rice and beans… good stuff… it was well worth the wait… The chips and salsa were pretty decent… Big parking lot…

Our church used Chile Relleno to cater an evening event for about 150 people. The people loved the diversity of tacos and the accompanying toppings. It was a very nice break for the two congregations who usually have«potluck» type food events. The staff was great! Their set up was quick and very functional. And the greatest of all was that their staff boxed up all the left-overs and left their area spic and span! Highly recommend them for your next big event where you need something a little extra!

Living in the South Bay, it is hard to find a decent Mexican food restaurant that meets expectations of quality, price and location. Dine in and enjoy a cozy atmosphere or call in advance and take out. The dishes take a while to be prepared but it is worth the wait! Cash or plastic accepted. The staff is friendly and it feels like family every time I step in. The ‘Torta Bronco de asada’ is my favorite!

I love this place. I go here with my grandma very often. Very good food. I usually get the camarones rancheros. They are the best I’ve had from any Mexican restaurant. Even my grandmother loves it and she is very picky when it comes to Mexican food. We are Mexican and we grew up with this food, so we both are very picky when it comes to Mexican restaurants. We know when it is authentic and when it is… for lack of a better term… crap. The food takes a bit long but that is because they make it when you order it. The service here is great. Very friendly. And I like that the owner and her family work here and they come out to talk and ask you if you enjoyed your food and if there is anything else they can get for you. I definitely recommend this place.

Location: You can find this restaurant on Carson Street across from Carson Street Elementary School in a shopping center that houses Albertsons & Bank of America. Orrick Avenue is the nearest intersecting street. If you can find the Winchell’s just continue southerly a few shops down. Parking: Private lot, street. Deco: Warm inviting feel w murals, booths, wooden chairs & formica tables. Food: Not fast food, everything is made from scratch & made to order or made the same day. I love that the food here tastes fresh & homemade. Favorites include: –complimentary chips w homemade green(mild-medium, it burned this sensitive weakling) & red salsa(hot) –mole(weekends only) –tacos –burritos –sopes –chile relleno(homemade) –super quesadilla –enchiladas –chicken soup –menudo Today I tried the sopes plate which was topped with beans, fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes, sour cream & queso fresco. Hello real Mexican cheese?! This place never tosses around the word authentic but I’m gonna use it for them. They are AUTHENTIC to central Mexico! Their food is –almost– as delish as my Mami’s! Lol Staff: Hard working owners, accommodating & on occasion they can get orders mixed up so keep it simple or have them repeat the order. W.C.: One stall for all but very clean!

My mom was craving for Chile Relleno and what is more proper than this place. We made the mistake of actually heading to another restaurant before deciding with this place but I am happy to say that our bad decision lead us to a good one! Décor: This place looked very clean. There are well painted murals on the walls that depict a time line of a Hispanic culture. The booth that my mother and I stay on, was clean and comfy. They also have a flat screen television and was on the animal channel during our dinner. :] Service: The gentleman that helped us was great and checked up on us from time to time when he served us our meal! Food: I ordered Chile Relleno and my mom(the one that was craving Chile Relleno) ordered Carne Asada Burrito. My Chile Relleno was yummy. It was served with rice and beans. I was satisfied with the portion. My mom’s dish was enormous! She managed to finish her burrito, which makes me proud! She definitely enjoyed it! Pros: Parking is readily available. Reasonable prices. Clean surroundings. Yummy food. Cons: So far, so good.

I frequently stop here during lunch for Mexican food. They have good Vegetarian burrito for $ 5 and that’s what I usually get. It has sour cream, cheese, lettuce, rice, pico de gallo and beans. You also have a choice to customize your burrito. Their cheese quesadilla and wet burrito isnt that bad either. The staff people are friendly as well and speak perfect English. Also the prices aren’t that bad either…
