The Sausage Factory

The Sausage Factory might sound like a bar where a girl might meet a guy or a guy might meet a guy, but it’s not that at all! It’s a REAL sausage factory where they make all kinds of wonderful sausages and other meat products. I went in with one of those buy a pack of sausages and get one free coupons that come toss on your driveway in a little plastic bag. I looked through the case and selected 2 packs of the Kielbasa sausages. They’re Polish style and very yummy grilled on the BBQ. Now I’d come back even without the coupon! This is real Italian family owned and you can find their sausages at local supermarkets and are served in many fine restaurants in the area. I hear they do mail order too, so just go to the website! I’m in Carson quite often visiting, so now I have a good source for sausages of all types! Yes, they sell bacon here too! Carson City is lucky to have the Sausage Factory in town!

Loved the place. Joe showed us the whole facility. They make everything we had a sample of his Brisket dog maybe the best dog I have had. I will for sure to go back.

This place has been amazing for some time. My Sicilian wife makes traditional Christmas Eve lasagna and The Sausage Factory has emerged as the unofficial source of the sausage that is served for the evening.
Beyond spicy link sausage they have a variety of products that any pork fan will enjoy. Today we left with Bacon, two types of sausage (mild and spicy), and meatballs (already cooked and endorsed by the Vice-​President, Joe Tonino, who waited on us in their little retail shop). In the case, beyond what is already mentioned here, they also had an array of other traditional Italian meats. They also had some chorizo and basque labelled products, but I haven’t tried these. I was in hog heaven, and my wife was attempting to reign me in.
In Northern Nevada their products are available in a number of retail outlets, Raley’s and Scolari’s for sure (as I shop there) and probably others.
At the end of the day having these products on your table will be a good thing, you can’t go wrong. Merry Christmas!
