Simply put legit. If what you are into is food and layout that you picked up from the home country and dropped within reaching distance. Foods fresh, owner is friendly and cost made me smile.
Tell just the right amount of people to keep it open but not to ruin it.

I probably would have never walked into this place if it weren’t for a coworker’s recommendation. Let’s face it — it’s a hole-​in-​the-​wall establishment located in a strip-​mall and it lacks any real signage while being sandwiched between a dark little casino joint and another dimly lit business. But the food is unique (especially for Carson City) and rather delicious. I didn’t have much prior experience with Salvadoran food so I ordered the Tipico — sort of a sampler platter. I was impressed by the quality and quantity of food. I will definitely be a return customer. The prices are very reasonable. Please give them a try and then tell your friends about the wonderful food. We need to support culinary diversity in this town.

La Santaneca is my favorite Salvadorean restaurant! Their food is authentic and fresh it truly is delicious. The pasteles and the yuca frita we’re omg a foodgasm lol. The owner el «colocho» was so friendly and funny. Overall it was a great!

It’s about time we got some flavor in Carson City! That’s the key word here. I ordered the Tipico Plate which has Pupusa, Yucca, Fried Stuffed Banana, Shredded Beef and Empanada and everything on the plate was flavorful and nothing was boring! My wife had Enchiladas and was equally impressed.
A place like this is exactly what we need here. There are plenty of decent to average Mexican restaurants and Standard Diner fare in town but nothing quite as unique as La Santaneca. Salvodoran Restaurant.
As the owner told us everything is made fresh and you can tell. Hopefully word gets out so we can keep them around!

Ordered their Pupusas and tried one of each flavor! Their Salsa and Pupusas are Amazing! Better than Mom’s! Lots of filling and oozy deliciousness. The masa is light and airy and not heavy! Im definitely going back to try more of their Salvadore fare! So glad there is something new in Carson City!
