Rated this one in the middle. This was my first time here. Lets start with the cons: 1) No napkins at the tables 2) Rude staff who try to rush you 3) Limited menus items 4) Dry limes 5) Long line 6) Prices(example: 1 really small taco almost $ 4) 7) tacos broke into pieces so I had to use a fork. Tacos were so so. And now the pros: 1) Nacho sauce 2) Quiet and relaxing inside 3) Outside seating 4) they put your tacos in really cute little stands Nachos were amazing I may return.

Only really have one star because the food was okay. An older lady with dark hair, assuming she is the manager because working as anything less at a fast food place at her age is too sad to assume, was very rude. Had to wait on the food because it was not ready or in other words they weren’t prepared. I sat patiently, after about 5 minutes she slowly walked the food to my table and threw it down. When I did not promptly thank her she stormed off and said a sarcastic ‘you’re welcome’. Very rude service. Won’t be coming here again.

I love Qdoba, it is so fresh and the people are very nice. Also they load your burrito up and give you what you paid for. I recommend if you want a fresh burrito go to qdoba.

We use to love Qdoba. But slowly this location has gone down hill. Last week we came here for dinner and I was told they no longer have a menu item. Okay, fine. I’ll get something else. However while we were eating in the lobby someone else ordered the same thing that I was told they no longer have. And he got it. The burrito I ordered was small, and the chicken was cold. I didn’t eat it, we didn’t complain while we were there because I wasn’t in the mood to be ‘that customer’. Some of the staff are exceptionally wonderful and friendly. However there are a few people that are pretty standoffish and kind of rude and it ruined the whole experience. It’s pretty safe to say we will no longer be going to this Qdoba and driving to the one in Reno instead.

First time here. Was pleasantly surprised. The night staff was very friendly and answered every question I had. They even offered tips when ordering. I had come at that awkward time right before dinner«rush», so some of the items on their steamer had been sitting. They were nice and asked if I was willing to be patient and wait for the fresh items.(Very appreciated) I had a chicken burrito bowl. Holy cow, it was very good considering it is «higher quality fast food chain fare». Also, they loaded it up. They didn’t skimp. I paid $ 13 for my meal with chips and drink. I did not feel cheated. Two thumbs up for the night crew. Also, it’s a shame that employees here«arent allowed to take tips».(Minus a full star for that)

Waaaayyyyy better than chipotle! Lucas was really helpful. My first time here, and I wish they had this where I live in ventura county. Especially love the fact that they dont charge extra for guacamole. Im only here for a week and I think we will have to come back for another visit before we head home. Great food, great service! 2 thumbs up from me!

Great service! I brought my fiancé in since he had never been here before and Lucas was super friendly and gave his recommendations and was very knowledgeable on all the items! My fiancé loved the food especially since he saw that fresh veggies and stuff had been just put out!!! Great job, Lucas, thank you! Your coworkers were great too!

Came here because I wanted to get a yummy buritto bowl. Was very disappointed this time around. Normally the bowl is super full, this time not. I asked if i could get some veggies and the ladies reply was i don’t have much. Can you say rude… i also got some chips and they dont come with salsa? Shouldnt u at least get a small amount included? While the food was very good the portion size isnt as well as not getting a small amount of salsa along with my chips. Im ok with having to pay extra if i want more but should at least get some to start with. 10 $ for my meal. Not worth it. The restaurant was very clean though.

I was in carson city for the day for my nieces graduation. I was hungry and decided to give qdoba a shot, as I walked in the lobby was clean and there was a short line dimi had time to decide what I wanted. I was helped by Sam and he was great. He walked me down the line(which was clean) and helped me make the perfect burrito. Would recommend to anyone who likes Mexican food! Great customer service and a clean store! Will earn my business again

Just enjoyed a very yummy nummy yum yum Smothered Burrito! With Chipotle Sauce, Black Beans, Gucamole, Rice, con queso, Pico de Gallo! Plus this being about my 2nd time here, the Staff was pretty helpful, patient an understanding. This location is maybe the nicest one in town. I usually will not shop in Carson City but I was in the mood for a burrito.

Today it was an odd hour, hunger was setting in, and I was at the bank. It was the perfect day to give Qdoba a shot. Since I hadn’t been in a while, it was nice to see how people were ordering, as it allowed me to prepare for my turn. There are questions? 1) Do I want to try the new ‘smothered burrito’? 2) How much does a ‘naked’ burrito cost? 3) If I order the ‘naked’ burrito how much do the chips cost? 4) What exactly is ‘Mexican Gumbo’? 5) Can I get the nicely cooked fajita vegetables in the bowl? 6) is this a ‘high fat’ location without choices? No worries though, the person that waited on me was very personable, and willing to help me, after a gentle razzing about my infrequency of visits. She heard my discussion with a friend, and decided to help me a bit. I ended up with a naked chicken burrito(in which I cut most of the fat, but was unable to resist cheese) with a side of the soup. She let me know that all I’d need to do is dump the soup into the bowl and stir. It’s important to note that I did not follow directions. The soup tasted great, and when something tastes great I have a hard time mixing my flavors. So I ate everything separately. Here are my answers to the questions above: 1) No, I did not try the smothered burrito, although the pictures did tempt me. 2) The cost of the naked burrito is related to your choice of meat. I opted for chicken and so it was less, something like $ 7.50. Shredded beef and pork were about a dollar more. 3) They only charged me a dollar for my side of chips, and I thought that was odd, as the menu indicated they’d be two dollars. I didn’t complain, seemed like it must have been a discount when you buy a meal. 4) The Mexican Gumbo is achieved when they pour the very tasty spicy chicken tortilla soup over your ‘naked’ bowl. 5) Yes, you can get the cooked fajita vegetables in the bowl of your choice, and I’d encourage you to do so, as they tasted great today. 6) No, not necessarily, but you can make everything high fat. If you’re into low fat, you can do that also. Today lunch featured tasty food at an affordable price being served by quality, friendly people. What’s not to like?

Food– good Price — affordable Atmosphere/comfort — comfortable for fast food Staff — friendly I think the management has changed a bit in the past year. My only complaint about the food is that I eat here too much so I’m getting a little bored with it. Haha With the«no extra for extras campaign» I think the price is right. The servings are good size for the price. Large dining area. Always clean, comfortable. Staff is nice.

I give this 4 stars for the soup, which we use as a chip dip. Rice, beans, extra soup. Add a couple of meats, cheese, a couple scoops of pico and green sauce. Big bag of chips and all is good for dipping. We have taken it to parties as a dip and it got rave reviews.

So disappointing. Being from Texas we are use to Chipotle and Freebirds, which put this place to shame. The favors were non-existent and the overall taste was bland. Won’t ever be back, should have read Unilocal first.

The food is good but not consistant. It really depends on the kid making it. We go there almost weekly, as it’s one of the only healther fast food places around us, other than subway, which gets old quick. Menu is small and it can be a little expensive if you don’t watch what you order.

Negative stars apply here. 3 times in 3 years, out of chicken every.single.time. I don’t know how the manager still has a job. Makes me wonder if upper level management even hears about these reviews, because everyone of these bad reviews are spot on. RIDICULOUS! How can the Reno location be soooo good and this carson location be the exact opposite? If any higher level of management reads this, here’s a piece of free advice, Close this location until you can staff it with competent, friendly, professional employees.

I adore Qdoba, I really do. Im addicted to their chicken nachos. But this location is AWFUL. Absolutely everyone that works there needs to be FIRED. Every trip there in the past 3 months has been terrible, and I wont be back until they make a change. Typical experience these days: One girl reapplies her lip gloss in the middle of preparing someones food. The boy serving us didnt know what a black vs pinto bean was. The only girl that actually knows how to serve, is at the register, talking to a fourth co-worker who is not doing anything, about how«My f — -ing job sucks.» and«I should just walk out right now and screw these guys over.» WHILESHEISCASHINGPEOPLEOUT. The dining room is always dirty, with trash laying around. When I asked one of the girls to wipe down a table for us, because every single one was dirty, she just sneered at me and disappeared. Then, as we were nearly done with our food, she came over and wiped the table done as we were eating. They werent busy or anything, we were the only ones in the place [gee, I wonder why]. Even if the horrible service wasnt enough scare everyone away, the quality of the food has massively deteriorated. It very obvious their food stations never get properly cleaned. The sauces and veggies in the bins look like they’ve been sitting in there for a week straight. If I hadnt promised my kid her favorite Qdoba, I would have walked out without ordering anything and gone to Panda Express across the street instead.
