I enjoy the atmosphere and their desserts are fantastic, however, their meals lack a lot. They seem to get too creative with certain dishes, and I have never found one item that I have absolutely loved. It is mediocre at best. However, my mom LOVES the«Grapes of Wrath»…a pizza with grape toppings. I’d say it’s for the more adventurous and eclectic eaters of the world.

Nice place. First time was in Carson City and decided to try a Brewery here. Worked out pretty good! Loved the Sausage Pizza and the basil taste on it. And White Ale beer is pretty good!

My grandmother(God rest her soul) used to know a women who tended to a headless chicken(named Bud) in Maine. She would feed this chicken twice a day with an eye dropper, ensuring it received the proper nutrients to flourish and grow. This«headless chicken lady»(as we called her) appeared on Oprah to tell the world that she truly understood the overused expression«running around like a chicken with its head cut off.» While I never had the chance to meet the headless chicken lady or her infamous Bud, I will say that tonight’s waitress filled the gaping void in my life left by the passing of dear chicken, Bud.

I’ve been here 3 times now. And service is consistently bad. They either take really long or they forget to bring your food out. Food is ok/good. Beer selection is good.

Love this place! Great for a good craft beer. The cucumber blonde is my absolute favorite! My only complaint is that the menu is sort of small, so unless you’re in the mood for some artisan pizza, you might be out of luck! The atmosphere is very welcoming, and during the summer months they keep the garage style windows open for some fresh air! Also-the meatballs are a must try!

This is THE place to come for beer, pizza, burgers , fries, wings, pasta, so much to choose from! Everything is fresh made! Smoked Porter is my favorite. We try and come once a week, I’d come more often if I were closer! Candace is THE best manager, she is always happy, friendly and so helpful! We love her and all the employees that are there when she is.

I love this place! Highly recommended! The servers are all so nice and the manager, Candace, is the absolute best! So sweet and friendly. We come here almost every week just to enjoy their pizzas. The atmosphere is enjoyable. They just got big tvs to put around the place and show football games. My boyfriend and his mom love their beer and I always get the hurricane. An awesome beautiful alcoholic beverage. :) Today we ordered the pork belly nachos as an app. Omg so good! Huge! Packed with cheese and pork. They bring you three bbq sauces to pour on your nachos. The espresso honey and sweet and Smokey are phenomenal. Interesting to add with nachos. Super good! I always order the get Crackin pistachio pizza. So good! They have these fun names for their pizzas. Like grapes of wrath and white shroom pie, which is my man’s favorite pizza. This place has amazing food. Their wings are good. Great burgers. Awesome fries. Their ranch is also homemade. The best ranch I ever had. Def give the brewery a chance. It is a gem in Carson city.

Food was amazing. Had fire roasted Brussel sprouts. the spicy honey was well balanced. My girlfriend had the Baked mac and cheese. The portions alone were beyond reasonable to where we had to take leftovers home. I ordered the espresso burger with a lettuce wrap(Bunless burger) as opposed to the normal burger. Had quite a few tasters and a pint of amazing shakiso brown ale brewed with ethiopian espresso beans. This place is solid and it has been a wonderful place for our visit. We are definitely coming back once more before leaving.

I’m in Tahoe on Business and enjoy checking out local brewpubs. I was driving by this place on a Thursday Night, at 8:40pm. It was dead, as in looked closed minus the red glowing OPEN sign. I walked in and was greater by someone and proceeded to the bar. I looked around, I was all alone. I have never been alone in a brewpub, bar, restaurant, or anyplace people socialize on a weeknight. I sat at the bar after being told someone would be out shortly to help me. It took about 5 minutes for someone appear and take my order for a house brew on tap. It was nearly flat and lacked body. It is now nearly 8:50pm and they start stacking chairs. I ask the bar tender if they are clsoing and she said at 10pm. I sampled a few other beers with fun names like«Fruit Loops» and just asked the bartender to give me her favorite. Flat again. At this point I am understanding why this place is dead as a door nail and no one is there. They have a lengthy pizza menu with fun names and interesting ingredients. I tried one that had dried cherries on it. It was a recommendation from the bartender. It came out and the pizza had pools of grease from the cheap cheese and the dough was soggy from, what I could only guess, over moist mozzarella more suited for salads than dough. I finished my pie and drained my flat beer. Settled my tab for $ 30. They shared with me the owner is very aggressive and since January has already gotten his brew into stores, has 2 more locations, and has another in the works. I am fortunate I travel for work and get to sample from across the country. As I would never return to this place, that has seemed to capture the locals… well, I guess maybe not since no one else was there for the over and hour that I was… If you have options, go elsewhere. …

I had been here a couple of times before and the food is great! I will say that what keeps a customer coming back for more is not only the food, atmosphere etc. but the consistency of what is served. I came in and noticed that the menu had changed. I was slightly disappointed. I used to order there BLT. It was delicious! They took it off the menu:(I was definitely expecting to have that for lunch from this great establishment. You also used to get a side with your lunch or entrée. Not anymore! It’s a extra charge. They also upped the pricing. This place is still great but I was definitely turned off by the menu change and went elsewhere.

We had heard alot about the food and beer at Lake Tahoe Brewing Co. So we decided to stop for lunch on our way to the lake. Located right on north carson street, there is quite a bit of parking nearby. There is seating outside with quite a few tables. We decided to eat inside because it was a cool fall day. We were seated right away and we e ordered our drinks. I asked the waitress what they are known for, she responded our pizza. Sold. So i ordered the meat pizza and m guy wife ordered the cheeseburger. The pizza is thin crust with delicious tomatoe sauce. The pizza came with four kinds of meat. The mozzarella was fresh and very tasty. The only negative i have on this pizza is the amount of grease that actually drips off. The taste is fantastic, i definitely would come here again, as nd ord r r just bbq as pepperoni.

Très bonne brasserie au cœur de la capitale du Nevada aux bières aussi surprenantes que nos très bonnes bières belges et où la carte est très franchement à la hauteur des bières.

Last things first: businesses, take American Express. I find it frustrating to go out and be told, «we don’t take that.» Now to what really matters. The beer was excellent, maybe the best«extra extra IPA» I’ve had. The Brussel spouts were spot on. just enough sweet and spice. The pizzas we had… so tasty. And finally SMORES for dessert Do not miss this place, but bring your visa or Mastercard.

I was introduced to this place during a Unilocal UYE monthly beer event and I have not stopped thinking about that dang tasty Hungry Aaron pizza! Those hungarian peppers have just the right sweet kick to them. Hands down my new favorite wood-fired pizza now — Grimaldi’s is so far away from me and South Creek is a bit pricier than here. When an acquaintance mentioned she was stopping here for lunch, I asked her to get me one of the Hungry Aaron pizzas to go(sans olives, please). PRO-TIP: This pizza is also delicious the next day at room temperature for breakfast when left accidentally overnight on the kitchen counter.

Hungry Aaron, Hungry Aaron, Hungry Aaron! This pizza is a MUSTHAVE! It is a margherita pizza with olives and Hungarian peppers. The pizza’s are Napolese style. The crust is awesome. It is chewy and crunchy. The sauce was flavorful and the Hungarian peppers gave the pizza an outstanding burst of flavor. I told my hubby that this is now my favorite pizza and he will be driving me to Carson City when I need pizza. My beer of choice today was an Orange Peel Witbier. It was light, refreshing, crispy with just a hint of fruit. It accompanied the pizza perfectly! Will I go back… ummm, DEFINITELY, especially when I need a pizza fix because only my new favorite pizza will do!

Need a water filter, water tastes like out of the tap. Hope they don’t use it for the beer! Carson water always goes downhill in the summer. Food: Reuben is ok, generous. The Nevada BLT is lacking, bacon is good. Food was pretty cold by the time it was served. No condiments on the table. Cute wait girls.

Tuesday, April 7, 2015: 11:00 Joe, a friend of mine, had the decency to send me photos from his recent visit here, and the photos arrived on my phone with words describing a friendly environment, good food, and good beer. On this visit I’m able to confirm the first two, but I didn’t get to have a beer. Joe’s credibility in the area of nice places grew as a result of our visit. First, and this is important to me, they have real cloth napkins and real glass glasses. This is a casual place focused on pizza, a few sandwiches, and beer, and so often you can’t take the details for granted. These little touches probably cost the business a lot of money to put in place, and to maintain, but it’s this kind of attention that I appreciate. Second, picture in your mind a new brewery, you’ve seen the equipment before, and they’ve got it here in a spot that you can see them in the process of making the beer through a series of windows. The room features dark wood and floors, it’s new and it’s not suffered from much use yet. There are two big garage doors on the side where we sat for lunch, and you can see that they are planning on a patio set up on nice warm evenings. It looks to have potential. Third, the food exceeded our expectations. Some of the early Unilocal reviews have been a bit critical, and so my expectations were a bit low, but as it turns out, there was no need to worry. We ordered the heated olive appetizer, the margarita pizza lunch special($ 11 and comes with a side salad), and the Rueben. Everything was very good or great, and the only quibble would be the Rueben, but once you’ve had a great Rueben you know that the bar has been set very high and so they really had no chance to compete here as my favorite comes from a place in Palm Springs called Sherman’s Deli. It was good, but it just didn’t compare to Sherman’s. Fourth, we were the first people in on the day we went, and so there was nobody else there and they were attentive. We told them we like water, and what seemed like a gallon of water in a big re-sealable bottle was brought to us. It saved them time, and we drank all we could. Our food arrived in a timely fashion, and we concluded that the service was fine, although as our lunch proceeded it was clear that they were getting busier, and so I’m not sure how it would have gone had we arrived at noon, and it was getting a bit noisy, so be prepared for that. Summarizing here, we’ll be back, we’ll enjoy, and I’ll try some of the beer. It’s a great addition to the Carson City food options. The five star rating has to do with a score for what it is. It’s not fine dining and it’s not pretending to be, but for a food and brewery establishment, it’s five star and I appreciate all of the attention to detail.

April 2, 2015 Thursday 12 Noon lunch 1 Adult Atmosphere — 5 stars Food — 5 stars Service — 5 stars and beyond Background — Just finished my class and I knew I had to hit the new brewery. It sucks that I am still on the«clock». Atmosphere — This was the location of the former Sierra Nevada Brewery. The place only resembles the former brewery from the outside. Inside has been updated, modern with clean lines with wood and marble. Food Drinks — Water, I know sad. I did get a growler fill of their IPA. Main Course — I had the blind pig pizza. Yeah more pork! Lots of pork! It has four types of pork on the pizza, and no bacon or pepperoni. They are, or in my case were, mild Italian sausage, soppresata, salami and prosciutto. The pizza is worth having again. I want it now as I am writing this. Service — I sat at the bar as I was flying solo today. Jason was a great behind the bar, wealth of information. I could have talked with him for hours but I know he was just as busy as I was. I had to get back to work too. Future — I will be back!

First off, what an amazing transformation of the interior! They did a really great job and obviously put some time into the overall ambience: small candles on each of the tables; nice wooden trays for the flights with chalkboard indicators of each beer; simple, clean menus; cloth napkins; and dark wood throughout. My friend and I met up for lunch a couple of weeks ago and after deciding we both weren’t starving, we decided to share the lunch special($ 11). That day the special was a choice of three kinds of pizza(8-inches) with a side salad. We requested a second side salad along with that. We chose the Bianca pizza, which is cheese pizza composed of romano, crescenza, ricotta con latte, and fresh mozzarella. The pizza was great — nice crust with good color, really flavorful cheese. I believe the ricotta is mixed with some herbs and added on after the pizza is baked, which makes a nice, cooling spread on top. The side salad is pretty basic: romaine, garbanzo beans, and tomatoes with a vinaigrette. Sharing this was a satisfying, but not heavy, lunch for two. As for beers, my friend got a flight of three different kinds: smoked porter, stout, and Belgian. I believe each beer you choose for your flight is $ 1.50. I couldn’t pick up any discernible hints of smokiness in the porter, bummer. And we decided the Belgian was the best of three. I had the Thai 777 beer, which has cucumber, chiles, and tangerine. The cucumber really comes through in this, but not so much the chiles or the tangerine. Probably good as a summer/beach beer, but not really a dead of winter kind of beer to pair with pizza. Overall, we were happy with the food and beer as well as the service. Being so close to my work, I’ll be back(on those rare days that I don’t bring my lunch to work).
