They were great! The girl was very friendly over the phone making the appointment and took the time to get my insurance information to give me a heads up of how much to expect to pay. When I got there they were very professional and thorough, the technician explained what each machine was checking in my eyes. The doctor was great, especially after I had not had my eyes checked in several years he made sure to educate me on the importance of eye care. They helped me pick out glasses and explained all of the pricing and discounts they offered. I was very pleased and would highly recommend them to anyone!

My husband stopped in to get his eyes checked for a new contact/glasses script. We’d never used this place before but they took our insurance, VSP. He came home and told me he had to pay $ 116 for his visit. This baffled me as I have used the same insurance and more than one other optometrist and have never had to pay more than the copay, unless I opted for further testing… I called today for an explanation and spoke with the person at the front desk. I asked why he had to pay and apparently, the insurance covers EITHER an eyeglass exam OR contacts… ok while this makes NO sense, I guess I can understand that, but in my policy, it states that I have $ 130 to go towards a contact lens exam. I ask about this and she tells me that it doesn’t. I read it to her again and she tells me this happens all of the time and it’s confusing. My next call is to my provider for further explanation and they explain that that allowance can be applied to the exam. He calls her and comes back to me and tells me that she says she DID offer this to my husband… after she just tells me that this can’t be applied to the exam itself. She has now lied to me, my husband and to the VSP rep. WOW! I call back to Viewpoint to find out how to get our payment back and ask why she told me one thing and the rep another… after some stuttering and more lying on her part, and me telling her we would never be back, I hung up. We all know what happened here, they completely took advantage of the situation. They overcharged and then lied about it. Shady

I visited the office in December 2014 for an eye exam and had a great experience — the staff is very friendly and Dr. Kuder is great. My only issue was a long delay in getting the glasses that I’d ordered due to a factory mistake but the staff kept me updated and called as soon as they were received in the office. Conveniently located, nice new office and good selection of frames.
