We have eaten at just about all Taco Cabana’s in Collin County. Its your basic tex-mex menu. We like their cabana bowl getting black beans instead of refried beans.

They never answers the phone Rude staff. I’m taking my business to the frisco location I order about $ 400 a month and it is like pulling teeth with this location. Which stinks because I live close by.

So I came in for lunch today and it took 5 minutes for someone to take my simple order. Another 10 to get my food, and its wrong. The guy that finally decided to take my order was literally on his phone while he was taking my order. All of the tables are dirty and gross. Im really disappointed with this location. You wont see me here again.

This place has some seriously good food but wow! It makes me wish I had salad the rest of the week. The nachos are the best, the breakfast tacos are amazing but be careful! Everytime I eat this magical stuff I got crazy heartburn, this only happens with this food.

Update: I’m home, I should’ve checked the order before I left! I ordered half pound of fajitas and they gave me rice and beans with it. I imagine I was charged for it but I’ll never know since I did not receive the receipt either. Had to yell to get service. They are short handed«as usual» according to the cashier. One of the reviews said this is a fast food place but I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes… for fajitas their specialty. Fajitas are usually good. I’ll know when I get them home. Employees really need to smile more and at least act like the aren’t doing you a favor by waiting on you.

Where to begin? I never write bad reviews and I love Taco Cabana but this particular location has forced my hand. I came in and ordered a margarita and a meal. Everything was going well until I watched a young man take a dirty used tray off of the trash can and add it to the others where your food is placed without wiping it off. I watched another employee put my food on said filthy tray. When I loudly intervened I was treated in a manner that was inappropriate. I was also questioned as if I was making the whole thing up. Also, I never got the margarita that I paid for. I am considering calling the health department. Disgusting!

The customer service is not pleasant, they are rather rude and need to wear hearing aids. My initial thought was, «Oh maybe their having a bad day.» But to have one everyday is ridiculous. I understand that working in the food industry could be a tough task being you’re prepping a strangers plate and if you get it wrong more than likely that customer will get upset or disappointed. I personally couldn’t do that, therefore I have much respect for those who do. Now, my thing is, if you hate your job that much, there’s other outlets to look at to earn money. Being positive however, is key. Nonetheless, the food is decent for Tex-Mex fast food. Not sure what the inside looks like, because I’m lazy and I rather go through the drive-thru for fast food.

Hey — here’s a news flash Taco Cabana is a fast food restaurant. Therefore, being it’s a fast food joint they do a pretty damn good job. My food is always good, fresh hot and I stuff my face with it. My little 8 year old loves the bean and cheese tacos/burritos. It doesn’t matter what time of day I go, the service is mostly fast and friendly. The best service is probably in the morning when I’m trying to hurry and stuff my face before work. I’ve ordered the dozen breakfast tacos TC’s way at the window multiple times for those days I wanna be nice to co-workers and have NEVER had an issue. Do they make me wait… sure, but it’s never too long… and come on the morning rush is ALWAYS their busiest time. I don’t mind and always give myself plenty of time. Overall a great place — even for being a fast food place.

Wow the reviews are horrible but I’ve only ever had a good experience. I work down the street and ear here probably once or twice a month every month for about 6 years. The tortillas are always perfect and taste so perfect and homemade. I eve not brought them for a potluck and a coworker thought I made them homemade. We love the tortillas so much when we make tacos we stop there for some and we load up at the salsa bar. The food always comes out gear, and I love their breakfast tacos. The only thing I don’t so much care for is the employees. Went there during lunch one day and they weren’t busy which was great but the guy ringing us up literally just walked away without saying anything and someone else had to come finish, it was so rude, they seem to hire young kids so maybe that’s the problem. I am in love with the food so I will continue to come here.

I placed an online order and this was the 2nd time I’ve done this. I buy 3 – 4 boxes of the dozen tacos for my office at work. The first time I did it, even though I placed the order online, it still took another 10 minutes after I got there, for them to have everything ready. When I’m heading into work, time if of the essence. So I tried this place again because I believe in 2nd chances(even though one of the managers at my job also had issues with her order! And she’s pregnant so when they forgot her chips and salsa, guess who had to go back!) So back to the review… I placed the order online for 4 boxes. I enter all of my credit card info and the pop up says the order was submitted and I should get an email confirmation within 10 minutes but to call if I don’t get the confirmation.(I placed the order at 630am for a 730am pick up — the time was changed«due to the size of the order» to 7:52am — random but fine.) So I get ready for work and about 7:30am, I call them because I never received the confirmation email. The lady who answered said yes they received the order and«it was ready». Great! So I leave my place and head over there… I get there at about 7:45am and guess what, the food isn’t ready. So I tell the lady that I placed the online order and she pulls the receipt and then tries to RINGMEUPAGAIN. When I tell her that I’ve already paid online and the receipt should be «balance due = zero», she takes the receipt and goes in the back to ask someone else«this order for Lysa — is it paid already?». THe person said yes of course. I said I wanted to add another 6 tacos to the order. I couldn’t do that online since they only do boxes by the dozen, not single tacos. So she rang me up and said the order should be ready. So clearly it wasn’t ready when I called, nor was it ready by the time I requested OR the time they changed it to online BEFORE the order was placed! In the order online I also requested onions, cilantro and lime. Do you think that was included? Of course not. While I waited in the dining area for FIFTEENMINUTES for these tacos that were«ready», I got my own condiments. Needless to say, this experience made me late to work by about 10 minutes when it really was not that serious. Very disappointing. The tacos however are good but the service ensures I won’t be back.

Poor service. Compared to the rest of taco cabana locations it has the same quality of food. I had the the brisket tacos and the brisket was not bad, but needed cheese or sour cream. It was way over priced for the amount of food and quality. My friend had to walk into the kitchen after waiting a few minutes for Someone to come out to take our order.

I like the food, eat here often and will likely continue to. Most employees are very nice and helpful. My orders are sometimes/often incorrect in some way, but when caught in time most employees will quickly and nicely fix and I’m on my way out of drive thru. Lately there have been more issues with orders, especially missing items(for example, last night went thru drive thru and got home and 8 oz order of beans missing and a few orders ago the two flour tortilas were missing). When I get a large to go bag for our late night dinner, I really dont want to have to go thru the whole bag each and every time, as well as unwrap items to make sure they are correct… a real pain in the neck. BUT, the biggest issue is when an employee/manager is really creepy about fixing an issue: There is an Anglo male manager with lots of tats who was a complete and total jerk to me, even knowing I am a regular customer. We have noticed he has a bad attitude in general whether there IS or ISN’T an issue with our order. Only employee I’ve had an issue with. He has been downright rude… even going as far as to tell me «yes, he is right» and inferred that I am wanting something for free. Buddy, I want what I paid for, and I expect you to fix it if you or another employee got it wrong, and dont put the blame on me and make me feel bad when I am spending my hard earned dollars there. He made me so upset. I gave him a piece of my mind and he was more than willing to give me an unedited piece of his mind too. Very unprofessional, and all he had to do was nicely fix the simple issue caused by an another employee, although the manager blamed me for that too, as I apparently asked for ‘rancho salsa’ when my daughter and I were supposed to say ‘salsa ranch’. Not only did he let me know that the items he was fixing were their most expensive items(fajita tacos), but told me he would get in trouble with his manager for replacing them and then expected me to go home and make yet another trip to get the receipt even tho he knew perfectly well when we bought them and I even gave him the name of the young lady who took the order. Man, just thinking about all the crap he said to me and his nasty attitude makes me mad all over again. And when I asked for the telephone number for the corporate office he gave me a piece of register paper with the link on it. He said he «would probably get fired but oh well»…apparently that is how much he cares about his job and customer service.

I walked in round 7:30 and was going to place a to go order. Most of the employees were in the kitchen except for one food runner. No one was at the front of the house. I waited almost 5 min before the assistant manager came to take my order. I had a coupon that was for buy one combo or plate and another for $ 1. I wanted one steak fajitas and one brisket plate but the manager said I cannot get the brisket because the coupon would not work. C’mon figure out obviously this has happened before or just make it work!

This place is hit or miss. Some days they are tops, but some days they make you wish you went somewhere elsewhere. The pico de gallo and salsa from the drive-thru can taste soured — so do yourself a favor and do not drive-through. Remember what Joe Pesci said in Lethal Weapon? Trust me — go on in and stock-up on sauces. Don’t pay extra for the«street» tacos. Just get the regular beef fajitas or the barbacoa. If going for the barbacoa ask for extra tortillas because this stuff is greasy.

They are usually always fast and fresh. I usually drive thru but the inside is clean and spacious. Salsa bar is fully loaded. Breakfast tacos are YUM! The chorizo tacos can some times be greasy. You can substitute the flour for corn tortillas. Take the survey on your receipt for $ 1.00 off your next purchase. The cashiers appreciate you taking the survey especially if it was for them, they have always beenfriendly and my orders have always been accurate.

Okay I grew up eating Taco Cabana but this location sucks! I usually order drive thru and the guy that’s there during early lunch seems to have the education of a preschooler. He has NEVER out of the many times I’ve been actually got my order 100% correct. Long waits and incompetent workers… drive to the one in addison or richardson.

Mexican food… spicy, yummy comfort food! Full of veggies, meat, rice and tortillas! God! Sooo hungry now, but unfortunately for me…4:30 in the morning I have no mexican-y goodness to eat. I used to come here all the time with my ex… who doesn’t love brisket tacos, chicken fajitas, guacamole and the MOST bad-ass brownies in the world? I was so excited to find out that I had one right over in my neck of the woods! I almost DIED. But here’s my complaints: 1. Stoners working the drive thru. Here’s my convo, «yes can I please get the fajita chicken taco dinner, with a coke» Him,“chicken or beef?” «…chicken?» “what to drink?” «…coke?» “okay ma’am, *total here*” «I want a brownie also please.» «okay ma’am» Pull up to the drive thru, totally got contact high… FORGOTMYDANGBROWNIE. MESSEDUPMYCOKE. GAVEMEBEEF. I have no problem if you smoke… not at all. But if your getting paid lets not be dancing with unicorns on the job. About the food; So-so at best, tacos cold, beans hard(might I say this last visit there was a bug in it) but the beans are always hard. Rice seemed as if days old. Brownie– well never got my gooey goodness. And manager told me I ate the brownie and was fibbing… if I was going to lie, wouldn’t I have like I don’t know… say the food was good from this location??? Things to fix: Managers Employees Food And customer satisfaction.

YUMYUMYUM!!! Service is always top notch and there’s always someone walking around asking customers if they need anything, want more chips, and I see them cleaning as well. The place is very tidy and you will hardly find food on the floor because they’re really good with cleaning up the place. The workers always seem like they’re enjoying their job because I hear them laughing and chatting all the time — and no, they’re not slacking off because our food always comes out quick. I LOVE the condiments bar because they have the BEST ranch/salsa(whatever it is) dressing. deeeeelicious I wish I could bottle that stuff up and take it home! :P The chicken fajita tacos are delicious — cheap and lots of flavor. I usually get the chicken(regular) taco plate because it comes with rice and beans. When I get my chips, I like to add some rice and beans and salsa on top so it’s kind of like making my own nachos! And the definite plus is that they have a drive-thru window and they’re open at midnight when you want a midnight snack. They have a patio area that’s inside but not(it’s covered) and they have a TV that is usually playing sports games.
