Don’t even bother. You expect a certain amount of noise in a coffee shop, but the people who work here are all far too loud. They seem to take joy in how much noise they can make as they call someone’s drink out. I’ve never seen a place that allows their employees to continually scream and screech the names of patrons in order to get them their drink. Call it once and be done. Would not recommend anyone come here, especially if you are trying to have a meeting or do some work.

It’s great that UWG has a Starbucks now, but it really doesn’t compare to some of the other coffee shops in town like Gallery Row in the square or Bella’s Coffee up the street. The baristas are a little rude and seem a little clueless. It is well set up with the couches and everything, but it’d be nice if it were open later considering that the library is twenty four hours and there are tons of students looking for jobs. I can also never count on my drink tasting any one way. Sometimes the drinks are great. Other times they’re vile. I ride my bike all the way to Bella’s up the street rather than stopping in this place on campus.

Starbucks have gotten to be quite too cliché for a lot of the younger crowd, but I must say i truly enjoyed this location. It is brilliantly located as part of the west ga university library and has an entrance near the Rec Center as well. I visited Einstein Bagel’s next to the bookstore and their prices are a wee bit higher than starbucks and there is no room to sit and chill. This starbucks was definitely a wonderful addition to our campus. I love the indoor/outdoor seating, sweet jazz music, and the fact that the library is literally a few steps away. YAYWESTGA :)
