Service is spotty. Food is always fresh and good. I eat about twice a month to get my Phở(00) and rice fix(43)

Love the food. The broth is on point and. I look forward to the taste every visit. The other thing I like is if i order something else on the menu and I’m dining in they bring a little cup of broth with your meal.

I know there are not too many Vietnamese restaurants around the area, but I walked away disappointed. The spring rolls with pork and shrimp are delicious and fantastically wrapped. There was no fallout of lettuce and noodles! They provided two little bowls of the peanut sauce with diced peanuts and a squeeze of Sriracha. I ordered Bun Bo Hue with regular phở noodles, but I got thin Vermicelli noodles. It wasn’t a big deal, but there were so little noodles! They do, however, give you a ton of meat. I had pig blood, pork hock, beef shank, and cha lua(Vietnamese sausage found in banh mi) in my bowl. Despite the fact that it looked super spicy and flavorful, I found the soup to be bland. I needed to add both Sriracha and oyster sauce to my bowl. I also ordered a Vietnamese iced coffee, which came with the filter! Super fresh! When I poured it into the cup, it only filled up ¾ of the cup(which was already packed with ice). When I tried the coffee, it was really bitter. Had to ask for more condensed milk, but it was yummy. The service was really lacking. They were quick to take my order and give me my appetizer and food, but they never came back after that. I sat around for nearly twenty minutes before I realized I had to go up to the counter to pay. I even had to bring up my remaining spring rolls to get them to go. They just handed me a box. When I asked for more condensed milk, they looked at me like I was crazy. I don’t know if they just don’t know English well, or if they run their business this way, but I was stumped. For those who aren’t from this area, they do not accept American Express! Bill came to ~$ 18, which I found it to be rather pricey for Vietnamese food! Oddly, I don’t really like the atmosphere here. The lighting and seating arrangement don’t feel very comfortable. I don’t usually point out these kinds of things, but I feel strongly enough to do so! The area in general is not very safe. Not to mention, my Über drivers had trouble finding this location when picking me up. As a heads up, this is in a plaza with a Dollar Tree, Chinese restaurant, nail salon, among other little shops.

Phở Pasteur may have the best broth in Dallas. Their broth gives me life. I think the 30 other young people here the day after New Year’s Eve says something about that. It’s nowhere close to where I live now, but I prefer coming here when possible. All their ingredients are on point, and that’s all that matters!

This place is my go to for phở and Vietnamese food. It’s legit! I usually get the #8 and #5. Meatball phở and a pork and egg sandwich. The phở has very complex flavors. If it’s a big turn off for you not to have your water refilled then you may have a problem here. I have been coming here for over 5 years and they have never refilled my water once. However, the food is so good, that I’m over it. They take your order bring your food and that’s it. You’ll have to get your ass out of the chair for the refill.

I was craving phở for about 2 months and this place satisfied the cravings! I came here alittle early for lunch(11:00 am) and was surprised to see the place already half full. Most of the people here were asian so I assumed that means its been approved by other vietnamese people which is a good sign haha. Service was nice and fast. If im ever around carrollton craving phở I’ll definitely come here

Finally a phở place that is «viet» approved! Call me having high standards, but most Phở joints around Dallas have been sub-par. After one of my viet friends recommending this place and seeing others praising this restaurant, I finally paid it a visit and enjoyed myself a delicious bowl of phở reminiscent of those found in Houston(aka land of nice phở)! Phở Pasteur 2(Carrolton) is one of 2 Phở Pasteurs in the Dallas area(apparently), the other one being in Richardson. So make sure you get the right address because confusingly, they are BOTH on Belt Line! This restaurant is located in a plaza next to a Cici’s and can be easy to miss… keep your eyes open at night! Walking in, the traditional feel of a casual phở place hits you in the face. The restaurant is laid out very plainly — with tables/chairs lining the restaurant like military barracks. The lighting is also nothing special, in fact, it can seem a bit dim. But less on that. Per usual, I ordered 2 pork spring rolls and a large bowl of phở(lean steak, tripe, and tendon). You can choose between either a «large» or an «extra-large’, which is great because 1) you don’t feel jipped after paying for a large, and 2) they are actually well sized! My phở came rather promptly and it was delicious! The phở noodles were definitely good quality, with a good level of chewiness :) The meat were well cooked and the soup had some good flavoring(not too bland or too concentrated). I wasn’t too much of a fan of the spring rolls tbh, they felt pretty sub-par if anything. For one, they weren’t that big, and secondly, the pork meat in the rolls were not grilled, so they tasted dry-ish/lacking actual flavor… the peanut sauce definitely saved them tho! In all, good experience. Kinda far from Dallas :(and not sure if it’s worth the long drive every week. However, it is some nice phở and it finally satisfied my craving! :D Thank you viet friends!!!

Wow so delicious I had phở at this place for the first time. Super good. I never had to stand in line to eat phở in the states. But a couple of things that were not good. 1. Egg rolls The lettuces decorations with the egg rolls looked very old and dirty. Like it was reused. 2. Phở I wish there was more tendon it my phở. I only got one piece.

So this was my Dad’s exact review/convincing invite to me: «I know it’s out of the way for you, but I think it’s well worth it — their service is pretty typical for a hole-in-the-wall Viet restaurant(i.e., efficient, but not very friendly), but IMO they have the best tasting broth I’ve ever had! Also, their fried spring rolls are served with lettuce leaves, fresh herbs and pickled carrots & radish so you can make them into lettuce wraps, which really cuts any oil taste from being fried. If you haven’t tried ‘em that way, you’re definitely missing out! Check out their reviews on Unilocal — a solid 4 stars out of over 200 reviews!» That being said, I did not end up getting soup so my review may be impartial. I got the rice, pork and egg cake. We shared the fried spring rolls. Those were good. My dish was okay. It didn’t stand out from any other Phở I’ve had before. I did try some of my Dad’s soup and it was very tasty. If I do get soup I typically get the chicken over the beef so my review of it should be taken lightly. The most spot on comment/review: — You don’t come here for the service or the ambiance by any means. The 4 stars are mostly on his behalf because he loves this place so much. If it were just me probably a solid 3…

Decent phở place for dfw area. The broth taste like it’s sweetened by msg, the rare beef(tai) is always too dry. This place is my last resort when I’m craving phở. I would prefer phở places in garland.

Fast seating even when the place was packed for lunch. The people there are very nice, but I have to say the service isn’t too good after they serve the food. I had to go up to the bar for a refill, but really not the end of the world or out of the ordinary for most Vietnamese restaurants. I started with the soda lemonade which is a Vietnamese favorite. One of my new favorites now too. The pork egg rolls were amazing, and served pretty quickly. I wanted to change it up, and decided to get the pork chop plate. It had a pork chop, sort of…, shredded pork, a fried egg, and something else that escapes my memory. It was all served on a bed of rice, and I just poured the sauce over it. It was pretty good, but nothing Earth shattering. Check out was pretty quick, even with a dozen people we had with us. I might go back.

Came here for lunch after church with a big group. Ordering and getting our food was pretty quick. One of the nice things about phở places is that you can always expect(or at least should) your food to come out quick. However after that, we never saw our server again. There were a good number of us with empty cups that never got refilled. As far as the phở itself, the broth is flavorful and the meat is tender but there’s nothing that separates it from any of the other phở places around. Also, the spring rolls seemed a little on the pricey side.

This is the best phở restaurant in the Dallas area! The service is fast and efficient, and the restaurant itself is relatively clean(especially for an asian restaurant) and very spacious. The broth is steaming hot every time and boiled to perfection. The noodles have a good consistency– not too chewy nor soft. Also, the portions are huge and always come with the right amount of meat. Being from Houston, my expectations for phở are pretty high, but this place does not disappoint!

Rivals the best phở places in the dfw. I’ve been coming here for 15+ years and this place has always delivered. Came here on a Sunday morning around 1030AM, probably about 12 other people in the restaurant. This place doesn’t have the most friendly or best wait staff but they are fast as anywhere. And just like many other Asians places in the metroplex they won’t refill your water lol. So if you get thirsty or like to eat spicy stuff order like 3 waters in advance. Typically I get the crushed rice w thit nuong, off da hook. The subs are great too. I was feeling phở today though, so got the xl bo vien and thai, no veggies, straight up. Boom, hit the spot. Prices have slowly increased, xl bowl will cost you $ 8.50ish?

Simply the best phở in the Carrollton area, but the service is often pretty off putting to say the least. I mean technically they do everything you ask of them, but I just feel like I’m bothering them and they’re not happy about serving their customers. I guess you can do whatever you want when you have the best broth in the area, but it would be better to hire some nice and presentable people to cater to your customers needs.

Phở was a bit greasier than what I had expected and my meat(ordered the flank steak, tripe and tendon) were chewier than other places. With that being said, the flavor of the broth was pretty good. Also, I liked the fried spring rolls and was probably one of the better ones I’ve had.
The worst thing was most definitely the service. We asked for a refill on iced tea and the guy looked like I had just punched him in the balls. All the employees there looked like they it was the worst day in their life and I had just informed them that they were all going to be working a double shift or something. Also, it’s dark as shit in there. I’m all about ambiance but everything in there was dark yellow and brown, including walls, tables, floor… I’ve seen abandoned warehouses better lit.

Phở is pretty okay to consume considering the fact that there is hardly ANY decent phở restaurants around the area. I usually get phở tai bo vein and pour sriracha all over my bowl to make it bloody red!!! that’s how I like it!!! I’ve been here at least 4 times now before writing this review. I got a pork vermicelli once and it was not good. I’d pass on that next time and just stick to the phở. One thing I like all the phở pasteurs is that they are the only ones with pandan soy bean!!! if you’re not familiar, it’s just soy bean with this pandan leaf flavor. It’s so good!!!
