I had such high hopes for this place after the other Unilocal reviews and rave reviews from some friends. Sadly, my expectations were not met — not even close. Service is really rude in my opinion. I feel like this place just gives off the vibe that they are not customer service oriented. All over the place you can see signs that are basically«rules» for customers that you would NEVER see in another restaurant. For instance, they will refuse to serve you if you come in within 30 minutes of closing time. I have worked many years in restaurants so I understand why employees would like that rule, but I don’t see it as good customer service. Not only that, but the girl who took my order(who I think might be the owner’s daughter) is so rude. She gives you the vibe that you are an annoyance to her. If you decide to dine in and two or more people share one entrée, they will charge you. Their reasoning? Because extra guests use plates, napkins, and the bathroom. On to the food. Simply put, it just wasn’t good. I had one Korean-based dish and one non-Korean dish… both of which were mediocre at best. I will not be coming back to this place. My review is solely based on my experience on the restaurant side of this place.

Family friendly, down home real food. What’s even more amazing they have the best of two worlds. American and Korean… the family comes out to make sure you’re enjoying your food. They made our little family feel like we were a part of theirs. My husband had BBQ pulled chicken and pork. Both wore excellent. My girls split a BBQ pulled pork sandwich and fries. They loved it. I had to go for their Korean BBQ it was perfectly tender and delicious. We will be returning. And with friends.

For the price, you can’t get a better BBQ meal in a quite setting. Next door the deli has all varieties of freshly butchered meat and prepared foods to go, which are made from scratch and amazing. Favorite is pulled pork and the honey BBQ sauce. Don’t forget to try a lemon bar. Yum!

I have become a regular. I walk in, pork bulgogi, rice, kimchi, sweet tea and 2 Korean egg-rolls are immediately on order. Have yet to have a disappointing meal or visit! Thank you for being the epitome of family owned and operated, it is appreciated!!! Keep it up!

Food was amazing. Had the chicken, pulled pork, brisket, ribs and sausage for main the course. The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket could be cut with a fork and the chicken had a great smokey flavor. The sweet potato casserole was delicious. Service was good. Prices were reasonable. Nice clean seating area. Will definitely return.

I have never eaten at Jeb’s but I can tell you this about his sausage, it is out of this world. I have had the smoked breakfast sausage, dinner sausage, and kielbasa and they are the best you can buy in this area. The great thing about his sausages is that there are no fillers in them like the grocery store brands. His have quality meat, spices and smoke. I will always come back to Jeb’s.

I’ve been to Jeb’s more than once over the past five years and it has normally been good. I had the Beef Bulgogi plate for lunch yesterday and the portion sizes were just not acceptable to me for a $ 12 plate. Maybe a cup of meat, maybe a ½ of rice, and maybe a spoonful of kimchi. Not saying it wasn’t good, however, if I’m going to spend $ 12 plus tip on lunch, it’s going to have to be worth it. I probably won’t be going back. Other than that, 5-stars!

Delicious food served on paper plates. The BBQ and even the chili is the best you will find anywhere. if you’re craving either you can also get them next door at their mini market to go.

We love Jeb’s. We have been happy with just about everything we order. The waitress does come across a bit brusque sometimes, but that’s not enough to keep us away.

I’d give a 3.5 but you know the whole rounding thing. 3 peeps bill was 39.87 Ordered Bean quesadilla son liked it but wasn’t in love with, I agreed after tasting. Double husband ordered pulled pork and brisket. Brisket very tender however they decided what bbq sauce you put on it and drowned the meat. Pulled pork was good. Sides corn was very good, beans where good but off just a bit couldn’t figure out what. Corn bread eh ok Brisket philly sub ME. Okay ding ding ding we have a winner!!! Now this was so yummy and very messy but thumbs up!!! This made the decision that we will come back for! We’ve read the reviews so we know there are some very great options we will just have to go off the recommendations of Unilocal! Cleanest restaurant we’ve been into in ages

My brother and I stopped by yesterday for lunch. Friendly servers and the food was very good. The beef brisket was tender and better than most I have had. The menu is interesting with typical country bbq food but also an interesting Korean selection. I wanted to try the kimchee burger but did not, maybe next time.

What happens when you eat at a Korean butcher’s barbecue restaurant full of amazing food and smells and run by the actual family themselves… magic! Our waitress was the butcher’s daughter, and she was the perfect combination of low key and personal, hilariously funny, and just super informative on every dish we were considering to order! It helped a lot since there are a lot of options to choose from! Loving the menus all perfectly spread out under the glass table top! We started off with their Yaki Mondoo(Korean Egg Rolls) which were quite good and came with a yummy homemade, yet intensely salty, soy sauce. They were filled with ground beef and pork and a bit of veggies for good measure :). The outside was nice and crispy, lacking any grease that typically comes with a regular egg roll. And the inside was just as great, chalk full of great flavors! Everything sounded so good on the menu, that we decided to just share our entrees so that we we could partake in as much as we could of Jeb’s delicious options! We loved the beef brisket philly as well as the loaded baked potato topped with barbecue chicken! Had we had room for dessert, I am guessing we would have loved that as well! The décor is plain and simple, but the food itself is complex and full of great tastes and flavors! You can tell they prepare their meats with the time and care it needs to pull forth the best flavors out of them! I had probably past this place in the past while in the area without realizing what I was missing, but now that I know what’s lies within… I won’t make that mistake again! In fact I will be coming back for more, and bringing my friends and family while I’m at it!

BBQ! Butcher shop next store. So good, my head’s gonna explode! The owner reminds me of the Soup Nazi. Don’t tell her that!

Homemade BBQ goodness at its best. Pulled pork, brisket, chicken and ribs PLUS Korean bulgogi, kimchee and egg rolls. Sandwiches to platters with my favorite salad… you will not leave hungry. Attached to their own butcher this is one place you MUST stop at to try.

As my husband and walked into the diner, 3 pm on a Tuesday. The lady who owns it, I’m assuming, was very rude. We both went to the bathroom and picked a table, cause as you can guess there was not a single person in the restaurant. She came by not even a moment later to take our order, cause you know someone is suppose to choose in like 30 secs after never looking at a menu. Anyway, we asked a couple questions and the lady responded with a very condescending attitude. We ordered our food and wait. Oh and did I mention you don’t get a drink til after you order your food. I noticed on the menu, that you are charged $ 2 for sharing, because you may use facilities. As you kidding me. This is insane. So let’s move on to our food. And before I start to describe what I actually ate, let me tell you the first thing I noticed that was outputting. I heard microwave sounds coming from the kitchen. Not once, not twice, but three times, food of ours was put in there. And I can tell you everything on my plate went in there. On to what we ordered, my husband had the bbq sandwich with slaw and a side of potato salad. I very questionably had the sliced brisket with fried corn and slaw, this automatically comes with it even though it’s not on the menu. The lady brought us our silverware and we were given a tray of sauces. Now I’ll start with what my husband had(the good news, if you will), the new was decent, nice flavor and the bun and meat quantity was good. The slaw was buried underneath the bqq,(who does that?) Everything was decent, not amazing, but edible and tasty enough. Now I’ll move to mine(the bad news), sliced brisket covered in a very over powering sauce, served with sub par Cole slaw, with a corn muffin so dry that the sauce from my brisket couldn’t help and«fried corn»(basically we took corn and tossed it in butter and seasoning). The brisket was tender but it was covered in sauce. If you give people a try of sauces, let them choose what they want. The corn muffin was definitely microwaved. And I could still taste corn meal in the muffin which means it wasn’t mixed very well. The slaw didn’t have any zig or zip. Nothing. Nothing at all, boring. I will give you my break down of stars. Positive 1 star for good bbq 1 star for a good selection of sauces Negative Minus 1 for rude manager Minus 1 for the fact that it’s a bbq joint and they serve Korean food. I have nothing against Korean food, but it’s a bbq joint. Minus 1 for décor, music and the layout. Looks tacky, the have a sign that says«be nice or leave» REALLY ??? Overall you could skip this place and be okay.

Who would have thought you could get tasty bulgogi in Carrollton, it’s at this place! The pork bulgogi was tasty, a tad sweeter than I would like, but the Kimchi and rice balanced it out. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich and enjoyed it. I grabbed a chunk of her bbq and it was smoked perfection. This spot is a winner, love the down home atmosphere.

LOVETHISPLACE! You have to come by a certain time, or you can’t be seated which is kind of a bummer. The first time I came here, we were too late and couldn’t dine. Howeverrrr– the second time we came here we were right on time. I ordered the brisket and the ribs. They were absolutely amazing. The vinegar based barbeque is surprisingly very good, seeing as I’m not a huge fan of vinegar base. Jeb’s is a little place in Carrolton. It’s got a decent amount of tables inside and the menu is underneath a glass covering on the table. The woman we had as a server was fantastic– very helpful and a joy. All in all, I can’t wait to go back!

I’ve driven past this place numerous times and never thought twice about stopping. It’s a red barn in the stix of Suffolk/Carrolton for goodness sake. However, after reading a few of the reviews here and speaking with a coworker, I was sold… and yes, I was wrong to assume that their tables and chairs were constructed of wood pallets and bails of hay. My fiancé and I stopped in specifically to check out the meat market. I was very impressed with how clean and odor free it was. Its not a huge market, but I think its actually the perfect size for their location. We bought a couple small rib-eyes, pork steaks, bacon… slab bacon specifically, and some beef bulgogi. Bulgogi? Yes, bulgogi. The owners wife is Korean and I love Korean food. BBQ fusion anyone? Bottom line, there is a good selection of freshly butchered non-frozen items. Our ribeyes and pork products were not frozen… and there is a freezer section with the likes of frog legs, chicken and of course the bulgogi. We have since devoured the rib-eyes and the bacon. Twas all on point. I’m looking forward to consuming the bulgogi.
