Closed since 9÷25÷15. See the photo I uploaded. Beyond that, the Garland location was better, but this place was closer to me.

This was my first time having Vietnamese food in the Dallas area. I just moved here from California and was craving some Vietnamese food. I was very happy with the bun bo hue. The portions here are huge. The meat was tender and the noodles were thick. My dad had the duck soup which he said was okay but not great. He would have preferred more aromatic spices. Overall, this is a solid place for a variety of Vietnamese soups in the Dallas area. I definitely plan on coming back!

Drove 30 mins to this location to find that it was closed. No signs stating why it was closed either.

I’ve tried«phở is for lovers» and other phở restaurants however, this place has better quality, flavor, freshness with even a medium Sz phở if you don’t want a super large which most ppl never finish. The price for Med phở was about $ 7 plus change. The egg rolls much bigger and tastier!!! Hands down my favorite!!!

We were a little alarmed that we were the only patrons on a Monday evening, but service and delicious food allayed any of our initial fears. We entered a clean and spacious restaurant and were immediately greeted and seated. Our group ordered the spring rolls, phở, and hu tieu. I was really impressed with the phở — the broth was extremely flavorful and full of depth and was not too oily. There was plenty of fresh meat(tai, chin, nam) and lots of noodles. While the noodles are traditionally served with white onions, I really enjoyed the red onions in my phở. The small bowl was well worth its value and really hit the spot. My girlfriend had the dry hu tieu and said it was good but not memorable. The spring rolls did come out after the noodles, but were quite tasty and fresh(standard goi cuon). The gal who seated us came by to check on our table here and there, refilling our water when necessary. The check never came(standard Viet resto!) so we had to pay at the counter. Overall, we were impressed with the restaurant(coming in with no expectations). I would easily come back, especially for the phở!

I’m so glad to have a hu tieu my tho nearby! This whole time I thought there was only one in Garland. I will definitely pay more frequent visits knowing they are close by! Hu Tieu My Tho is like a Vietnamese chain. They are known for their hu tieu so don’t you get anything else when you come here!!! I got a hu tieu with shrimp and squid and it was delicious!!! the aroma was amazing! must get their hu tieu!!! hu tieu is the opposite of phở. You don’t get the rare beef or meat balls in your hu tieu. Hi Tieu is lighter compare to phở and generally comes with seafood, pork or both. There are pieces of fried pork skin for extra flavor and the broth is sweeter compare to phở. It’s a nice alternative to have when I eat phở all the time!

I’m a regular, even before the new owner. As often as I’v been here, I have not had anything that wasn’t up to par. Love everything on the menu. SERVICE: 2 stars — I need water refill please! Typical service at Asian restaurant so can’t really expect much and nothing new to tell. FOOD: 4 stars — With the new owner, they brought better flavors to their food. Great quick and inexpensive eatery on a lazy day.

First time here since it went under new management. My parents had the clear noodles and both of them really liked not only the noodles but also the broth, my brother and I had their beef phở and their broth taste really refreshing(I don’t get the same richness in the broth that I get at phở pastuer’s broth), but none the less I would come again. Very happy that they removed the awkward restaurant divider that was in the middle of the dining room and changed the floor to wood. Since this place is closer to my house by a good 10 minutes I’ll probably come here more often then phở Pasteur.
