Braum’s Ice Cream and Dairy

Very good ice cream and very reasonably priced. What a great find. The customer service is great! The tables where a little dirty but they had just had a big crowd.

Not sure what has happened to Braum’s not just the location I’m at even the one off Josey And Keller Springs. They seem to be dirty just filthy! The pic is strands of hair sitting on the window sill where I was sitting. There was hair sitting where you get the ketchup. There’s ice cream splat on the floors. This place is very dirty and disorganized. We stood waiting for someone to attend us for a good 6 minutes when we asked if anybody was taking food orders. They need a serious change in management.

This is your average run of the mill Braum’s. The ice cream was standard and the service was quick and friendly. We stopped here today for a quick ice cream and were not disappointed… I mean, are we ever?!
The drive thru employees were especially friendly and went out of their way to engage with us.
I would stop here again if I get the urge for an ice cream cone!

Yeah, time and time again this is my go to place for a traditional banana split (it’s super close to my home). I’m very happy that they finally got proper crushed peanuts to top off my ice cream. They used whole salted peanuts for a while and I always decided to do without it (who does that anyway?) Just can’t have a banana split without all the works, ya know?

Nice staffs, good ice-​cream and snacks. Good place to hang out just it’s not very clean inside.

This place is always friendly and your dollar goes a long way. Got ice cream for me and my two daughters. They got a sundae and a shake, plus what I ordered and it was less than $ 7. The kids love coming here and it is an affordable treat.

The ice cream is always good, but the service is horrible. About two weeks ago we went there and we ordered our food to dine-​in, and they placed the food in bags. I pointed this out and the manager acted like I asked to have free meals for the rest of my life even after the young lady admitted it was her fault. I vowed to not go to this Braum’s again but last night we really wanted sundaes. My wife comes back and tells me how rude the lady that was helping her was; slamming the bag down for a to go order, giving attitude and dirty looks. Needless to say we are done with this location!

As always the ice cream is great, never a problem there. But at this location the employees are not friendly and they all look like they hate their jobs. There is never a greeting only straight to the point with the order and they are slow. Like there is no motivation to be there.

We have gone here s couple times for a snack, they seem to always be out of premium flavors and run scoops are so small you finish a single dip by the time they hand your passenger their order. I can’t compare this to a marble slab or a basket robins it’s the texture isn’t even in the same league lol this place is just something quick and simple to get you to point A to B. Everything is very under proportioned there’s never enough of anything. And they don’t even give you bags for your Sunday’s any more lord forbid if you’re taking them home to people you have a mess all in your seat or you wreck trying to hold them all in place with every turn. I haven’t been back since last week… I just hated it.

Love the banana pecan ice cream and soft serves! They have customer friendly hours and rotate their ice creams on a regular basis so you get to check out some new flavors once in a while!

Can’t go more than a week or so without an ice cream pie !!! Chocolate Pecan rocks !! Wish the Cappuccino one was ice cream, not yogurt. Their shakes and sundaes rock, too. The place is always very clean and friendly, to boot. B-)

Ordered a bacon, Swiss, mushroom burger (so did my husband, my daughter had a «baby burger»). We got them and I smelled my burger.
It smelled rancid!!! :S I had to make sure my nose was correct and took a bite. Yep. Rancid. :(When I asked my husband (who has a fabled pallet of a goat) How his was, he said” it taste really strange…”. If he says something is bad, it’s BAD.
We notify them that they served us vile, questionable burgers… to my shock, we were asked if we wanted another one. Ha! No Thanks, We took our money and ran. Don’t know if my daughter’s was bad… she didn’t try it, I didnt want to «test» it, and my husband wasn’t going to be a Guinea Pig.
Sorry, if you want to serve rancid meat… don’t do it to a three year old, a pregnant women, and a man who suffers from Chrones Diease. 1 star for trying to kill off my family.

This was my first time coming to this Braums and I was disappointed with the lady who took my order in the drive through. Her responses to my questions were unprofessional and her tone of voice was rather rude. The service was fast and came out correctly but polite and friendly apparently isn’t in their vocabulary there

Caramel fudge sundaes, and a convenient petite grocery. Great when you’re on a time crunch.

So simple and delicious. Setting: typical American diner. Remember the shot from Pulp Fiction where Jewels was talking to Ringo, that’s it. Or from Reservoir dogs, the breakfast place when the were arguing the «Tip» concept? That’s it too!

Almost 2 years ago, me and a friend were stopping by this Braums location for lunch in the midst of picking up pet food for homeless pets. Overall the food is hot made to order, but the fries are a little too salty. Luckily, I still have the remaining gravy to stifle the salty taste. If you’re gonna go to this location, at least do it for the delicious ice cream, shakes, and/​or burgers.

Great! I grew up in Niskayuna, NY, and we had either Stewart’s Ice Cream, just dairy items, or Friendly’s, with burgers, fries, some sandwiches, and of course ice cream.
Braum’s is by far the over all leader in the price point for shakes, sundaes, and burgers.
I feel lost when out of town and there isn’t one. Well, unless I am on Martha’s Vineyard where there are more ice cream stores per acre than say, Niskayuna.

I grew up going to Braum’s with my grandmother… not just for the delicious ice cream and hamburgers, but for the groceries. The milk is always delicious, and seems to stay fresh longer than store brand milk at the big grocery stores. The eggs are also very good and fresh. No, this isn’t a gigantic WalMart-​style grocery, but it’s got some staples: deliciously fresh milk (of all varieties: nonfat, 1%, 2%, whole milk, butter milk, cream, etc), eggs, butter, butter spread, fresh beef, small veggie selection, Braum’s brand frozen foods (pizzas, ready meals, breakfast items, etc), bread (usually only white and wheat and sometimes one more). Definitely good for staple-​shopping. I usually prefer to get my milk here rather than the regular grocery.
Also, they never look at me like I’m insane when I order my crazy banana split (even after 10.30 on a Friday night in the drive thru) with all vanilla ice cream, no sauces/​toppings, and whipped cream.
The best way to order milkshakes/​malts is asking for them with vanilla ice cream! Chocolate shake made with vanilla ice cream is my typical order. My mom gets a chocolate malt made with vanilla ice cream and extra extra extra malt.
Always delicious! And I very rarely (at any Braum’s location) have to clarify my order.
The burgers are good and the fries are awesome. We’ve been known to even… maybe… umm. order an extra side of fries to split with our normal foods. hah.

Just had a Bacon Cheeseburger Combo and a soda substituted with a 22 oz. Strawberry Shake. The burger was pretty nice, juicy and decent and the thin bacon slices had a nice crispiness to’em. The Strawberry Shake was sweet, but I just wish they would have blended it a little bit better so that the strawberry chunks would actually fit through my straw; I never knew I could suck so hard!
Overall 3 stars. I’m likely to come back.
