Boone’s Heating & Air Conditioning

I’d like to say thanks to Cody and his team for the awesome job they did at my house replacing my outdoor ac unit. They are an honest and hard working team that quoted me fairly and delivered everything as quoted. Great job guys! Many thanks.

My Air Conditioning Unit was not cooling so Boone’s technician added Freon. A few days later the Freon had leaked out. The technician should have checked for a leak prior to re-​charging it with Freon.
When I called to discuss that the Freon was discharged, I was told if I purchased a new A/​C (HVAC) system from them, I would not have to pay for the previous service call and the freon. I consequently sought 3 cost estimates for a new system and Boone’s was the highest price. Consequently, I did not select Boone and paid their service bill.
They later told me that they no longer want my business (service calls) since I did not purchase the new system from them.
(Interesting. I don’t know anyone that automatically buys a car from the highest price dealer just because they had that car dealer service their car).

Honest and Fair… what more can you ask for?
Installed a 4 Ton unit. Didn’t leave a speck of dirt in the house.
Clean and courteous. Cody and his team were professional and treated me and my home with respect.

Having your AC unit stop functioning in the Texas heat is a stressful situation to be in. I did the usual search on Craigslist, searched through my Val-​Pak coupons to find a company that would be honest and not take advantage of the situation.
After reading the reviews here on Unilocal,I decided to call Boone’s. Kandice was the first person I spoke to, she listened to the problem and took the time to understand the issue, reviewed the recommended actions and arranged a in home diagnosis.
Terry and his crew showed up and were professional, courteous and dug right in. No sales pitch, no doom and gloom news — He was clear, concise and knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked for a better group of technicians.
I am very impressed with this company and urge anyone in need of HVAC service to save the headache and give them a call. They made certain the AC was back in-​service the same day and offered very competitive pricing.

As a new home owner, I had Boone’s assess my AC unit as well as do a follow up for the cleaning it required. Terry came both times and I truly felt he was fair and honest about my AC unit. He offered clear suggestions about what the unit needed as well as explaining to me what was going on with unit and what is should and shouldn’t be doing.
