Vent Craft

I have utilized this company several times in my personal homes and as a real estate agent I have recommended them dozens of times over the past decade. They came out to install a new vent hood over our range. All seemed to go well until after the temperatures dropped a bit and I noticed a very cold draft in the kitchen. I determined it was cold air free flowing from the newly installed vent hood. I made several calls to the company asking if Mr. Myers the tech could come out and investigate. I was told each time that there was a service fee for all service calls. When I explained my situation the women would simply repeat herself. I asked for a supervisor/​manager to call me. At the same time I was calling, texting and leaving voicemails for the tech. None were ever returned.
This week I hired another company to come investigate the cold air source. Upon removing the vent it was discovered that the dampner doors had been removed. We know they were removed as they come installed as a part of the vent direct from the factory.
Now I understand why the tech failed to respond to all my attempts to speak to him.

Referred to Vent Craft through an independent Air Conditioning guy. He mentioned that my load on my AC was high due to the heat generated in my attic, and recommended me to Vent Craft. After call at 4pm in the evening, the owner and technician were onsite by 10:30 the next day, gave me an estimate and began work right then and there. Good service, very personable, and would refer them.
