So I made my first appt today and here is my FIRST experience.
«Can you call your insurance company and ask them if you need a pre-​authorization?»
I call insurance who says, «If your doctor is in network, they are responsible.» I told them the doctor told me to call but the insurance company couldn’t look up without procedure codes.
Call #2 to CHPA: «My insurance says you are responsible to handle.» RESPONSE: «We don’t do that.» Me: So give me the codes and I will find out.“
End of story — I call my insurance company and have them cite this in their records and now I tell each of you.
I am so offended that the medical community expects us to pay fees for their services but they think their only service is «see the patient.» Um. News — you are running a business so there are other things you need to do!

The BEST out there! Highly recommend both doctor and therapist! I’ve looked for years for someone to help me and they really have. They care deeply and are up to date on their type work! Even the office specialist are exceptional. They work with adults and children. I have my favorites but recommend all highly!
