Sam’s Noodle Town

Love this place. Everything is soooo fresh and cheap! I don’t understand how they make money with prices so low and portions so big, I can feed my family of 4 with 2 entries and pay $ 20.00 on a TOGO ORDER. Maybe there business model is run off volume and not gouging the small amount of customers they have like other Chinese places because whenever I order takeout here one my way home from work they say they have a lot of orders and it will be about 15 – 20 minutes then when I come in to pickup my food there are many other orders waiting to be picked up and many other people picking up there TOGO ORDERS. I love this place! Thank you again SAM for your hard work and blessing the VALLEY with such AMAZING ASIAN CUISINE!

This place is awesome, the best restaurant in Carnation. They source very fresh ingredients and everything I’ve had has tasted great. My favorite is of course the phở, which is just as good as you can get in Seattle.

I’m a phonatic. Been to a lot of Phở joints in my day. I hunt new ones out regularly. Sam’s is one of the best Phở places I’ve been to. Very fresh ingredients, lots of options, good price & the broth is spot on. I’ve also tried many other plates there & have yet to be disappointed. Their Mongolian Beef, Curry Chicken, Yakisoba, Pad Thai, & vermicelli bowls are fantastic too. All around great restaurant. Glad it’s in my little town.

Really really fresh food. Everything is made to order. The Phở is awesome. We also had the spring rolls, Pad Thai and Teriyaki all of it was so good. I highly recommend this place.

Absolutely the best Phở in the Seattle area. And I have tried them all.

My husband and I just got some food to go today and it was delicious! I got the chicken phở, the broth was yummy (tasted like real bone broth) and the soup as a whole was great! I am a phở connoisseur and this is some of the best I’ve had. My husband got the pork fresh rolls with peanut sauce and the house special fried rice and both were very good. I wish I knew this place was here earlier!

I ordered the teriyaki chicken a few weeks ago. The chicken breast was the not the best cut and very, very dry. I lathered the sauce on it and it helped some but it was chewy. I suggest using dark meat which does not dry out and has more flavor. Generous amount of rice and salad side dish was good. Ditch the breast meat and make sure the meat is. Or cover cooked and dry. Service was fine and I was surprised to be changed 1.50 $ for tea.
Spouse had the seafood phở and it was delish. Large portion and good broth.

So happy we have this yummy place nearby. We live in Duvall and finally stopped in to give it a try. The Phở was perfect pineapple fried rice was delicious. Very clean and great customer service!

Service was good and food came quickly. Language barrier for sure but they got order right and they were friendly. Large menu with a lot of good choices. We had the walnut prawn Appitizer, this is normally a favorite of mine. But it was disappointing. Shrimp were not fully cooked and the sauce wasn’t good and way too much on top of prawns. Also had the fresh spring rolls. Normally a favorite for us but didn’t care for their type of peanut sauce or the ingredients in the rolls. But that is just our opinion, others may like it. We love the ones at the Thai restaurant «Silver Spoon» on Redmond Ridge.
We also had M10 which is wide noodles, chicken and veggies in a soy based sauce which was very good.
We will give it another try and try one of the sandwiches or the Phở.

Had lunch at Sam’s today and it was excellent! We will definitely The back to try other dishes!

We had high hopes given the reviews, but the food was not really very flavorful and we were disappointed. The honey walnut prawns had way too much batter and sauce, the Mongolian beef was not spicey enough and the portion was small, the soup was bland and tasted a bit watered down. On the positive side the dishes are all less than $ 10 which make soya very inexpensive meal.
Not sure we would go back, the service was also poor we had to wave down a person to take our order and we had to take our check back to the server.

Holy cow this place is good! Everything is so fresh and tasty. Husband got sirloin beef phở and I had yakisoba, yum! Last time I had a combo vermicelli and it was wonderful too. It’s Wednesday, 8pm, and the place is full. We so needed this place.

Wow was my first reaction. We had a small bowl of Phở (not very small) a Vermicelli bowl, and a honey prawns appetizer. So very tasty and the prices are very reasonable. Met Sam who was very nice and made our visit quite enjoyable even though we arrived at 8:30 just before closing.
The large portions served all three of us with leftover. So glad to have this place in our Valley neighborhood.

Ok, I have to admit. This is some good phở in carnation. The veg one is really veggie broth. My cousin had the beef phở and she said it was very authentic. Portion sizes are really big.

Awesome food! Very good, had Phở, Bun and some gyozas, all fresh and tasty. However they really need to figure out how to speed up their service. We were there on Friday, got seated quickly, ordered and then waited over an hour and fifteen minutes for our food to arrive. Phở is supposed to be quick, this was crazy. Hopefully they can improve the service cause the food is great!

The food is so good. Lots of great flavors and very fresh. So lucky to have this restaurant in carnation.

We ordered some Phở, a Chicken Vermicelli Bowl, fried egg rolls and calamari. It was all very delicious, and the portion size was generous. Everything was fresh and the veggies were crisp.

I have been waiting for 24 years for a good Asian restaurant in Carnation. Yes, there was a Chinese restaurant, but their food was consistently terrible, year after year. Now we not only have an Asian restaurant with great food, but it also has large portions and inexpensive prices. For example, Vegetarian Phở for $ 6.95 and Teriyaki for $ 7.95.
The staff was friendly and service was prompt even though they were clearly struggling to keep up with the Grand Opening crowd. We will definitely go back.

This is the newest addition to the limited restaurant options in Carnation and it exceeded any expectations I would have had for a small town family-​run Vietnamese restaurant. The food was delicious — our party had fried won-​tons with sweet chili sauce, calamari, fresh shrimp spring rolls with peanut dipping sauce, Pad Thai, beef noodle phở, and vermicelli noodle bowls with chicken and pork.
All the food was fresh, well seasoned, huge portions, and ridiculously cheap prices. (Less than $ 9 or $ 10 per entrée.) The food was on par with much fancier and pricier phở restaurants in Bellevue or Redmond. My only suggestion is you wait to go until next week because they are still fine tuning their operations and were very apologetic about the food taking a while to come out. I think they will have to-​go ordering options in the near future but for now it is dine-​in only. The atmosphere was simple but clean and functional. Tons of parking available out front.
