Carmichael Flowers

They did an excellent job on the flowers for my grandmother’s memorial. Every aspect of the services they provided was excellent.
Being from out of the area, I placed my order over the phone. This process was quick and easy. A very good customer-​service experience.
The price was lower than I expected. Very reasonable and competitive prices including free delivery (event was in Carmichael).
Delivery was right on time as agreed.
The 2 standing sprays and 2 table-​top arrangements were beautiful and included the types and colors of flowers I requested. I also asked for a special note card to be included and they also got this right.

The over the phone order was really simple and easy. The woman who assisted me was great and assured that the arrangement I ordered was delivered the next day.

I ordered a $ 65 dollar arrangement to be delivered and when I saw the picture of the arrangement that was delivered I was very disappointed. It was mostly daisy’s and chrysanthemums with filler. There were only 4 other flowers that were nicer– roses, calla lily and a tulip.
Make sure you know what flowers will be in the arrangement before paying the price.

Probably a better place to order flowers than getting something quickly as a walk-​in. Owner is super nice, the arrangements she was in the middle of were lovely BUT my order was thrown together kind of haphazardly and the end product was less than polished. It actually looked really amateurish (if you’re not going to cut in a straight line, at least try to hide it) and sad, but the flowers themselves were lovely even if the arrangement and packaging was awkward. I was actually really embarrassed to give it to my friend, but he insisted that he liked it (to my face). If you’re looking for something small, this is probably not the place.
If I had a larger order, I would probably have a better experience, the owner seemed really accommodating with her custom-​floral arrangements and orders ahead of time. There didn’t look like there were a large selection of flowers on-​hand in the store itself, but that could have just been a seasonal issue. I also know there were lots of flowers in the back though. Maybe I just romanticize what a local flower shop is supposed to be like, but if I’m paying more for a non-​grocery store bouquet (more than twice the amount of a basic bouquet from Raley’s with similar flowers), I would expect it to at least look good.
I really didn’t like what was made for me, but perhaps the owner does better when she has more time or when she’s less chatty. In any case, I gave it an extra star and might give it another chance when I have more money because it’s a local business.
I realized while re-​reading that a possible reason there was no effort put into my bouquet was because I wanted to stay within the $ 20-​$ 25 range for a basic non-​rose bouquet. I sincerely hope that’s not the case but just know that $ 20 goes a lot further in other places.
If you’re allergic to dogs, also steer clear because the owner has a dog in the shop.

I wanted to send flowers to a client today but didn’t decide until about Noon time. I went online and ordered some flowers and asked that they be delivered today if possible. The flowers arrived later this afternoon! I am thrilled at the service and my client loved the flowers! I would recommend and use Carmichael Florist again for sure! Good job and thank you!

Lovely little store to stop into. The great smells you get when you enter is heavenly.
I went here recently with a friend who has been going here for awhile. The service was great, and the prices were very reasonable. They even let her make a few changes to the completed order without an additional charge. The flowers looked like they were very good quality, and lasted.
A good little local place to get reasonably priced, high quality flowers.
