I have been buying from Roger and Marsha for over 15 years! Every time I come to Carmel, I always go down Carmel Valley Rd. to see what they are up too! I am always blown away by how they have transformed the store with new inspirations! Such nice people too! A couple of times they have let me try out pillows in my home before buying them, even though I moved out of the area! They have really maintained such a family store quality. I love all of the French pottery and chandeliers Roger brings back from France, he really finds the best! He has even delivered a couple pieces to my home in S.F. with out charge! I decided to write this review because on my most recent trip I met one of their twins working in the store and what a lovely girl! I remember their girls when they were kiddos but it was so refreshing to see the next generation in there so positive and so proud of her folks! It is nice to know when you get something here they really care and love what they do!

Frankly this place was a beautiful mixture of colors and shapes but completely A fraud as far as being antiques. Some of the baskets I saw the where the exact same type I saw at the Goodwill and savers the other day. $ 425 for a basket please give me a break. The sailboats were 200 bucks each and I’ve seen yacht replicas that were 10 times the quality of the yacht they had there for ¹⁄₁₀ the price. This place is charging for status not for quality. If you’ve got to pay that much to feel good about yourself go ahead. But they’re ripping you off. The antique breadboard they had on display was clearly a fake as no old breadboard would have those fresh cuts in it it would be worn down and soft. The antique milk carriers were clearly replicas and so were the bottles in them. Unbelievable what people will do to make a buck. The guy running the store looked like a rum dumb bum and his clothes didn’t look clean and he hadn’t shaven and his hair wasn’t combed. He was totally a rumple mess. Big rip off of a store.

Beautiful Rustic French Farmhouse style! I absolutely LOVE this store. I honestly could move right in. Absolute inspiration!

I love finding neat shops with cool things. This place has some of the softest cotton blankets I have ever touched. There is a huge selection of soaps and books and some of the most delectable cookbooks to choose from. Such an assortment of other unusual finds it is a wonderful place to seek out unusual one of a kinds.
The people are very nice too…

My favorite store in the area. Wonderful vintage finds, many of which are one-​of-​a-​kind. This store inspires me!
