Old Navy is Old Navy. most of the stores are pretty much the same. But the Old Navy at Clay Terrace stood apart as an example of the store’s potential for terrible. It’s the holidays, I get it. It’s busier than normal. But it looked like a rummage sale in there! Piles of clothes all over the place! It was as if they unleashed a herd of sugar-crazed Kindergarteners to go shopping and then did nothing to remedy the situation. The dressing rooms were completely unattended and there were so many clothes left in there(folded and hung up this time) that I had a difficult time finding a place to put my try-on rejects. I literally had to put my things down to make room. Also the hooks in the dressing room are crazy. Imagine trying to hang five plastic hangers on what amounted to a metal nubbin sticking out from the wall. They need to update this store’s dressing rooms, pronto! Finally, the line. One person working the registers too slowly became two to help with the crowd. And the best part was when an older employee was at the front of the store, definitely looked at the long line and the two other employees working it at the registers, and she walked away to the back of the store. Team work! People were literally putting their stuff down and leaving the store. Literally walking the heck out. A truly poor experience at Old Navy tonight.

Wow — I don’t know if I just came on a good day, but there were so many good deals when I visited, and everything was so tidy and organized. It was a pleasure just browsing around. The people who work here are friendly, too, but aren’t constantly asking if you need help, which I appreciate.

Shorts for $ 1.97? Don’t mind if I do! Old Navy makes cheap clothes of consistently low quality, but their sales are fantastic! Low quality garments at rock-bottom prices make me a fan. Especially for kids? They’re going to tear the stuff apart or stain it anyway, and even if they’re the most careful, tidy kids EVER they’ll still GROW! Old Navy… for non-heirloom-quality threads priced accordingly.

Way better than the Old Navy in California. I love their clearance sales. They need more sizes in this location that aren’t xs-l.
