Marshalls

Marshall’s (discount store) has been my first stop for any shopping outing since it’s arrival in Indianapolis. It has provided my family and home with first grade merchandise at the best prices I could find. Geri Hurwitz

Friendly cashiers. Merchandise in large disarray, nothing of a size is where it belongs, meaning long search times and CHECKING EVERY LABEL.
There’s a good variety of mostly good stuff here, typical of many TJ Maxx and Marshall’s locations. At some locales, really amazing deals. I searched an hour and found only frustration. A few pieces in clearance initially looked good, until I found damage, sometimes show-​stopping damage. on some of the items. Disappointing, all the way around. I did eventually find a gift, but it wasn’t easy.
Some will find deals. Even Goodwill organizes their merchandise better than this. Some areas that are expanded in different locations are smaller here, too, ex: mens shoes, and luggage. Wish I could be more positive, as other Marshall’s locations have some real steals. Not this one.

Marshalls has some killer deals on good clothes. None of the items I looked at were more than half of their retail price. Each section is organized by size, so you sort of just rifle through the racks looking for gems. As long as you’re not in a hurry and you’re in the mood to shop around a bit it’s a decent system. They also have some household items and shoes.

I use to have to go to Macy’s or Nordstrom to get MK but now they have a deal with Marshall’s which is fantastic. One of the great things about Marshall’s is the fact that they carry things for my children which is always a plus. Everything from toys to clothing or shoes I am able to find great deals on name brand items.

They have good deals every once and a while. I prefer Homegoods if I am looking for things for the home. It has a better selection of clothes at Marshalls. It is worth poking your head into and seeing if there is a hidden treasure :)
