One star for trying, but significant problems my last several trips here primarily centered around polite, but clueless staff. I needed several items and while Walgreen across the street was slightly cheaper this CVS had a promotion on numerous items I needed for a free CVS umbrella so I bought enough to qualify for 4 umbrellas. At checkout I was told they weren’t in yet come back Thursday. Did that and was told the same thing, and the third time this played out I asked for a manager. He tried to help, offering me ONE cheap umbrella as the promotion umbrellas weren’t coming. I took it and decided I’d not come back.
Then today I needed a specific item right away and Walgreen was sold out so I tried this store again. Went to checkout and cashier (Martha) refused after being asked twice to push the credit card process button so I could pay with Samsung Pay via my phone insisting «that doesn’t work here». It does, she just needed to push the button. I finally acted like I was sliding my card alongside the reader outside the slot while holding my phone over the strip reader and it took it.

This CVS is great if you don’t mind waiting 40 minutes while the staff tries to find the prescription you were notified was filled and ready for pick up two hours ago. I’ve waited less time at the BMV. At least the staff is usually friendly.

I prefer the CVS stores with the newer design, with the large center aisle going diagonally through the store. This location does not have that, and makes it feel a little clunky and hard to navigate.
Whenever I’ve been here, it is understaffed at the cash register and thus the line is long. However, on one occasion the cashier thanked me for waiting so patiently and treated me like I was the only customer in line, which I appreciated.

I’ve always had a 5 star experience while using cvs pharmacy over the past year and a half. My most recent time filling a prescription a man named Habib informed me at drop off my medicine was not covered and would cost me $ 66! He advised me to call my dr for a parallel treatment and saved me $ 60!!! I would have had no indication of the expense without his warning. This same worker has looked into an error on forwarding s previous medication from my primary physician. Very helpful and friendly. Definitely takes the cake for fast and friendly service that goes beyond his job requirements. Hope I always live close enough to fill at this pharmacy.

Gotta say that I’m not one that would typically write a review for a pharmacy. It’s a pharmacy that’s associated with long lines, grumpy peeps arguing over copays, and slow turn-​around times. But… this CVS makes up for it all because of the staff. Believe it or not, they’re a cheerful group, quick to fill scripts, and genuine. Lisa is by far my favorite always wearing a smile and eager to cheer you up. Why the four stars? For a 24 hour pharmacy that does an immense amount of fills, they fall short on medicinal inventory. Several times I’ve had to wait for replenishment. In some cases, I’ve had to make two trips. One would expect that this could be avoided by better forecasting. Needless to say, this location offers the best customer service among nearby rivals.

This CVS is good, but because there is almost always a CVS located across the street from a Walgreens (as is the case with this CVS), I tend to favor the latter. Both have carpeting throughout the store (who thought that was a good design idea?!). Both fill prescriptions and sell beverages, sunscreen, magazines, gum, and pretty much every random thing you can think of. But there’s just something about this CVS that isn’t as nice as its competitor across the street.
But maybe I should write my review based on CVS’s own merits. Fair enough. The people who work here are pleasant and will show you where things are (irons are on aisle 21). Merchandise is arranged in an intuitive way, so it’s easy to find. I was able to find all of the things on my list, and my list included some wacky things. This CVS is open 24 hours. So all in all, it’s a great store, and whenever I’m traveling that direction down Rangeline and don’t want to make a turn, I’ll stop in here over Walgreens without any hesitation.

Unfortunately the pharmacy tells you one thing over the phone, but when you go in it’s a different story. Promised I was getting refunded for two prescriptions I overpaid for on two previous trips. Pharmacist said he had it processed, just come on in. Well I did and it was a waste of my time. The young lady waiting on me said she has no idea how to do that or what I’m talking about. Ugh! Why do I even bother calling ahead???

What did I enjoy about this location? The exceptionally friendly lady working the counter. She gleefully listened to me whine about how I usually make my sister buy the lady products for our house and how I still, at the age of 25, loathe making these purchases. Her friendly smile had me leaving this CVS with a contagious smile on my face and feel good vibes in my heart. **As for the store, your standard CVS only slightly cleaner and newer in true Carmel fashion ;)

It’s a pretty big CVS with lots of parking in a convenient location. I love the fact that they will send you a text message once your prescription is ready for pick up.

Pharmacists are great and best part about knowing everyone that works there (which could either be a very bad or a very good thing haha) is that they let me take my Therapy Dog in Training there so he can walk around or lay behind the counter or wherever they want him to be so they can pet him! They were a little apprehensive about it at first because he is a pit bull, but then they met him! He didn’t live upto their expectations of 120 lbs and and horrifying, instead they got 42 lbs of constant guilt face haha
You can meet him too! We’re at our CVS like once a week, sometimes more than that! You’ll know we’re there if there’s a white Smart car in the parking lot with pit bull magnets on it haha
