Coastal Valley Imaging of Carmel

I had my appt and during the appt I was quoted $ 950 MRI. Same day MRI. They offered 3 payments for this quote and my first payment I made at the appt of $ 250+ then went to the back room to have my MRI done. It’s been 2 weeks later and I received a bill in the mail for $ 1054.00 It’s says in the paperwork on the bottom of the quote that pricing may change at anytime. So your telling me they can bump up the price within minutes? This is one way to stick it to the customer. Do Not go here unless you are making payment in full or your insurance does because they will bump up the balance do within minutes after the procedure.
Terrible business practices here.

As a medical professional in Monterey, it is always refreshing to realize that a business I recommend to patients is as well-​run and accomodating as Coastal Valley Imaging.
I called the office the Monday before Thanksgiving to schedule my overdue second trimester anatomy scan. I am a chiropractic assistant, and was not known to the office as anything other than a patient. They scheduled me for an appointment the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and asked me the majority of intake questions, so that I would not have to fill out sheets of paperwork with a very full bladder.
The office is beautiful and very calming, with high ceilings and very nice restrooms (which I know all of my fellow pregnant ladies will very much appreciate!)
Susan was my ultrasound technician, and she brought me back promptly. She was friendly and had a fantastic bedside manner, explaining each section of the ultrasound so that I could enjoy the experience of seeing my new baby boy. She kept my husband and mother-​in-​law entertained during the procedure, and endured all of the squirms and kicks from my son with a sense of humor.
Many businesses seem to want to rush through their days immediately before a holiday, but I felt completely comfortable and well-​cared for during the entire process. It makes me proud to know that I’ve instructed others to come to this office rather than trek to any other imaging center. I plan on thanking my OB for referring me here!
