I went in wanting the standard margherita pizza, which I believe is called the red vine — since this was my first time I figured try the basics first. In 90 seconds I had an amazing pizza margherita for a fantastic price. Wasn’t bowled over by the s’more although I had to warm it up later at home so that may be why and it may be delicious if you have it there. I would give it another try. I also tried the blood orange lemonade which was very yummy but later decided I needed carbonation to wash down the pizza. Sometimes lemonade just doesn’t cut it. Overall — amazing food especially considering the price and the speed.

Driving down US31 and found this place on Unilocal. We wanted a pizza so we called to place a simple order for carry out. When we called, we were told that we had to order from the website instead of calling. Well that was disappointing. You can’t always go to a website and place an order — especially when you’re driving.

Quickie Review: Should you stay or should you go? GO! The staff was very helpful the first time I went and the food was great! I’ve gone back multiple times since and it’s always consistent. Love the business model!

You can’t beat this place for a quick and affordable lunch. I was also really impressed with the service and the genuineness of the employees. It was super busy — line out the door the whole time I was there — but every person I interacted with said my name and smiled at me. Awesome! I also really like the whole setup of this place. It’s like a Subway for pizza. Unlimited toppings for all the same price?! And they give nutrition info for every single topping, so you know exactly what you’re eating. I follow Weight Watchers, and I got to eat half the pizza for only 9 points, which is a huge steal. So, you can come here and eat your pizza without feeling any guilt! I will definitely be back to this place. I love it!

The ordering process is like Chipotle, you pick your base and then you can customize from there. I chose the Art Lover(artichoke hearts, mozzarella, ricotta, garlic, dollops of red sauce) and I subbed the spicy red sauce and added sausage. No matter what toppings you pick, it’s still the same price(unless you get the 1 Top or a simple pie, which are priced lower) so you can feel free to load up. I was in and out of the place with my order in hand in about seven minutes(3 minute bake) which is definitely fast and easy. It’s billed as a personal, but it’s two reasonable portions(lunch tomorrow!) and if you’re worried about calories you can check them online for your custom pie. Everyone was friendly and my order was prepared to my liking.

I thought this place was pretty cool when it came to town. It’s Chipotle, but pizza style! The best value is the build your own pizza, I forget exactly how much it is but I think it’s around 8 bucks. choose your sauce, cheeses, proteins, veggies, and get as many as you want! Then it’s fast fired in a stone fire oven in around 90 seconds! Great spot for a quick lunch, or even a quick dinner. I’ve probably been back 5 or so times. Give it a try!

I dropped in for a late lunch/early dinner around 4. There were no other customers & the place was FILTHY! The floors, seats, soda/condiment bar. Obviously no one had touched the dining area since the lunch rush. However, the pizza was yummy & I enjoyed the blood orange lemonade.

The pizza is super customizable and delicious! And though the pizza is fired quickly for a pizza, it is super busy around lunch time, with a long line, not enough seats, and the waiting area is super awkward. Also, I don’t usually want a whole pizza. So, I’ve only been here once so far, even though it’s right across from my office. However, I love all the veg options and the tastiness.

Tried this out for the first time and thought it was pretty good! It seems like they may still be working out some of the kinks — the end of the line where we waited for our pizza was a little chaotic. They accidentally put our pizza on someone else’s tray, but it all worked out fine in the end. Mega bonus points to them for having a vegan cheese option at no extra charge, plus keeping it covered so the regular cheese doesn’t get mixed in. One of the employees accidentally dropped a spoon into the non-vegan cheese and immediately went off in search of a new one. They also have separate tongs and pizza cutters to use with the vegan pizza — some really nice touches!

So I’ve reviewed the Blaze at the IUPUI campus area and I think I gave them four stars which means I can only give this one five stars because they are better. * shrug * It’s the truth. I go to the Blaze near IUPUI due to convenience(and the sheer fact that I thought they were the only one) and the fact that they have delicious pizza. But they also have a lot of traffic. College kids. Police. People. Stray puppies and hungry eagles. Every time I have gone, the cross contamination is abundant. There is hamburger in the cheese, basil in the onions, garlic in the peppers and so forth. The counter where they slide the pizza is always disgusting. There is no better way to put it. But I’ve accepted it because I thought there was no other Blaze and because again, it’s delicious. I figured I could get beyond the cross contamination and ignore what I learned in my sanitation and safety class at Culinary school. Several times I have gone and ended up with other random items on my pizza that happened to be laying in the tubs with whatever toppings I actually ordered. But this Blaze that I went to a couple of nights ago on a spontaneous eat & greet with a friend gave me hope for the future! We walked in to a spacious eatery although not as big as the one downtown. The line was short and flowed pretty smooth and to my surprise, there were police there too. I think the cops have traded in donuts for Blaze. The pizza dough was ready, the counters were CLEAN(100% clean) and the toppings were all in their respective containers; not mixing and partying with each other at the customer’s expense. There was also Blood Orange lemonade available, which can be hit or miss downtown. I understand that one has a heavy traffic flow but upon visiting this Blaze, either I will never go back to the one at IUPUI or I will stop eating Blaze. It’s that concept of you never miss what you never had. Seeing as though I didn’t know this clean and quick Blaze existed, I accepted having to eat my wonderful build your own pizza from the slums of cross contamination and missing ingredients(they also run out of stuff often). But now, I have seen the light. I have returned to my Snooty levels of Elite Foxery. I thank this Blaze for providing it’s customers with a clean environment that seems like someone in the building cares about what the customers walk into. I thank them for fresh tasting ingredients and for having them stocked, ready, separated and as always, delicious. The attendent was friendly and cool and after we received our order, we kicked back for a pizza smashing(also known as eating relentlessly, unapologetically and without small talk) contest in the comfort of the clean dining area. Thank you. It’s what everyone deserves. You will see me checkin here again.

This place is like Chipotle, but for pizza. You start at one end where you can decide to have a simple cheese pizza, a pizza with one topping, or create your own with as many toppings as you would like(all three different price ranges). You also have the option of choosing one of their signature pizzas that already have set ingredients. You can even add your own ingredients for no extra charge. After you have created your pizza, they pop it into a fire oven for three minutes and you pay. Then you wait at the end for them to call your name when your pizza is ready. I chose the signature Red Vine pizza and added ricotta cheese. I was extremely satisfied with my choice – very delicious and filling! I would also recommend trying their blood orange lemonade! Overall, I had a great experience. I had to wait about 10 – 12 minutes in line before I ordered and about another 5 after I paid, which wasn’t terrible, but probably wouldn’t recommend if you are trying to make a quick lunch stop.

Blaze… it’s like a maze trying to navigate to the«order» counter. I really didn’t care that I backtracked my way around from the«pickup» since no one was in line. My lunch buddy and I decided to build our own pizzas. After all, it is choose any toppings, all one price. I literally like my pizza loaded with my daily servings of the food pyramid to the point where I can’t even pick it up anymore. The young workers there don’t seem enthusiastic at all. It’s the«IDGAF» attitude plastered everywhere. The girl putting the toppings on my pizza was rolling her eyes. Okay… I’m not into 1 topping or cheese pizzas from elementary school. Sorry that I inconvenienced you with a huge topping load. I waited patiently for them to call out a name/number/whatever. Turn the techno/dance music down a notch and maybe I don’t have to stand right in front of the oven to hear what’s being called out. When I went to pick up my pizza, I asked for a finishing douse of arugula since it’s included. The sassy cook/keeper of the sacred stone oven sighed loudly and bluntly asked me if I have cashed out while I already did 5 minutes ago. Me? A cheap pizza thief? I think not. For a fast, fresh, budget friendly, customized pizza, I mean… it was good, but it didn’t blow me out of the water. Maybe not the best place to have a conversation since I felt like I was in a Verizon wireless commercial: «Can you hear me now? How about now?». I’d have to give these other popup fast-food type artisan pizza places such as Project Pie and Pie Five before I return to Blaze.

These pizzas are FAST&FRESH. I’ve taken my kids there two or three times and we’ve never been disappointed. Even the staff had been friendly and helpful and gone out of their way for us! I think the pizza, service and prices are better here than Coalition(just South of this location).

I am literally standing in the restaurant, angry Unilocal-ing. I placed an online order tonight. Never again, Blaze, never again. First, and not their fault directly, everyone in line hated me for going to the online pickup counter. I AMNOTCUTTINGYOUGUYS. No one working seemed to care that this strange lady cut the entire line, so I had to elbow my way to the register to get my order. Speaking of my order, it wasn’t done. I thought the point of this place was fast pizza. Real talk: if I wanted a slow pizza, I would’ve went to a million other establishments with way better service. So here I stand, in a messy restaurant with loud music, waiting on the order I placed online 35 minutes ago. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because I’m holding out for what I hope is at least a delicious pizza. End of rant.

Wanted to give it another try after they had been open longer. They have tinted their windows. Still dislike the limp crust. Dislike the ordering process. The price is good but the pizza and ambiance is mediocre at best.

It’s difficult to find a crust that is both gluten free and egg free. Not at Blaze Pizza! Although not a big fan of the Daiya cheese, I decided to go with it as opposed to no cheese on my pizza. I chose all the veggie options including spinach, onions, bell peppers, jalapeños, mushrooms and even some pineapple! The crust was very thin and I had to fold it in half because it couldn’t handle the gargantuan amount of toppings! I was not mad at this. It gave it a ‘Brooklyn style’ feel :). The atmosphere is hipster-ish but seems very family friendly also! There are plenty of toppings to choose from and the pie is baked in a fire oven which made the crust crispy! They even offer to sprinkle salt and oregano right before they pop it in the heat, which I thought was neat! Delicious, vegan AND gluten free pizza? What more could I ask for? 5⁄5

I absolutely love this unique pizza spot. The service is fast, friendly and enthusiastic and the pizzas are really good. The price is definitely affordable at $ 6.95 for an unlimited topping build-your-own pizza or just $ 5.00 for a one-topping. But who could stop at one topping? After seeing the huge variety of quality toppings I guarantee you will choose more than one. Roasted garlic? Check. Artichoke? Check. Three varieties of olives? Check. Roasted red peppers, mushrooms, carmelized onions, red onions, fresh basil… a quick count and I noted 7 meats, 17 veggies, 6 cheeses, vegan cheese, 3 sauces, 3 drizzles plus spices and sea salt. This is a great place to take kids, they can have fun choosing their own toppings and building an individual pizza they will love. Easy parking, quick service means you can be in and out quicker than sitting in the drive thru line at a fast food joint.

Blaze had been on my mind the moment I heard it was officially open. Naturally I began planning the right time to indulge in a delicious 11″ thin crust pizza. The area where Blaze is stationed is right next to Which Wich, Panda Express, Zoup, Chipotle(coming soon). They really need to do something about the parking situation in that whole general area until then I avoid it like the plague until after 12:30. Let’s Eat Shall We! I love thin crust pizza and Blaze didn’t disappoint! On this occasion I ordered one of their signature pizzas the Red Vine. I added sea salt & oregano and it was excellent! Perfect amount of topping verses crispy crust ratio. I washed it down with a Blood Orange Lemonade. I am still unsure if I really enjoyed this sugary concoction or if I needed to fuel my sweet tooth. Either way I guzzled down a whole sickly sweet glass before my pizza came out of the oven and quickly got a refill. I got both the pizza and lemonade for around $ 10. They Aim to Please! You choose as little or as much topping as you would like and they are happy to accommodate. Each person handling your order uses your name however, I found this almost a little creepy when I was the only one in line. My name kinda echoed throughout the quiet industrial space… In Conclusion! I came at 1pm. There was plenty of parking. I was in-out in 8 minutes. I had a great lunch for $ 10. Can’t wait to come back and try the gluten free crust and build my own pizza!

Loved the grand opening for Blaze this past weekend! Their pizza concept is right on point and something I have never seen before. You walk up and order a build your own pizza! You can add and subtract whatever you like all for $ 6.95. You get your own personal pizza cut into six slices. The crust is super thin since it is fast fired in their huge brick oven. And the quality control behind the scenes is impeccable! They had a guy who was solely in charge of trimming the extra burnt crust off, just to ensure the tasty-est of pizzas. Large, spacious eating area with outdoor seating. Perfect for work day lunch since the whole process takes about 6 minutes(obviously depending on the line :) We will be back!
