Okay people, listen up—
I dont know why this place has been given such awful reviews…
But…let me clarify up front, this review is strictly for the bar atmosphere, and wine experience.
I have not had any of the food here–
We stopped in one weekend while we were camping out at Carlyle, and honestly, I was a little worried given the bad reviews–
But we all know, Carlyle has next to nothing, so I figured it was worth a shot– and since we werent eating, it couldnt be that bad–
I will admit, the set up is a litle odd– but the back patio is where its at.
We actually went twice — in the same day/​night.
We stopped in, sat at the bar, and had a couple bottles of wine–
Their wine, is actually really really good— we ended up even buying a couple to take home.
All the bartenders were extremely friendly– and there was one girl (who had curly black hair) who was awesome!!!
She made herself a virgin piña colada and passed me some– and we also saw her later that night having a drink out back— she was super friendly and fun!
We left for dinner (to LuBar) and then came back later on that evening for some drinks, and listen to the band–
that place– was CROWDED!— i thought it was weird the way they had the band setup but we just sat around the bar and they had huge TV’s out there that had the game on.
The facility grounds and everything were beautiful– and again, the back patio at night was popping…
I am weary to try the food– but I’m not picky.
We will definitely be going back, and please dont be afraid to give this place a try!

For review this is without a doubt the WORST restaurant in Clinton County if not the entire planet. I went th the «upscale brunch» on the weekend, that had I shit you not Sam’s club pastries still in the wrapper. Mmmm scrumptious. Oh wait they were expired, say it ain’t so…
On the new fancy marquee sign, they advertise: «Lobster, prime rib, coconut shrimp, steak, etc» followed by «chef wanted?» Wtf??? Waste your money at your own risk.

Good chicken, bad Cole slaw… a lil too pricey. Wine glasses too small. Waitress not great.
