Watch Edge

This is my second time back here. We’ve had two watch batteries changed and here we’ve always walked away satisfied. The guys here are very knowledge about all watches. They even have a large selection of men’s and women’s watches. They also sell watch cases and knives.
They took about 20 minutes to replace my battery. We just walked around the mall while we waited. He also told us to keep the receipt, they will replace the battery if it stops working within a year.

Swung by today to add another Tag Heuer timepiece to my collection. Better selection than 90% of any other watch dealer in North County. Why drive all the way down to SD?

I Took my boyfriends watch here to be engraved and was very pleased with the service and engraving I had done! If I had known about watch edge sooner I would have had all my repairs done here. If you are in the mall I DEFINITELY do NOT recommend fast fix jewelry and watch repairs, the service and quality of work does not even compare. Watch Edge made it simple and fast and Daniel who was helping me was awesome! I could tell he cared about the business and wasn’t just trying to hurry and get me out of there. Thanks Daniel and watch edge! Im glad I finally a place I can trust and doesn’t charge through the ruff!

Watch Edge is awesome. I have purchased multiple knives and watches here. I always look around for prices on things before I buy them and I always get the best prices at Watch Edge. Their selection is always up-​to-​date and the people who work there know their stuff. I only buy my watches and knives from here now…

Brought an expensive, but old Omega to them and parts are almost unobtainable. They got the parts, and refinished my watch and it looks as good as it did 20 years ago!
I don’t live really close, but the extra drive was worth it.

Tried to over charge me to remove links from a watch.
I’ve had an Invicta for a while now that is a bit too large on my wrist and this store was recommended by someone in the mall to remove links from a watch. I went after work on a slow Monday evening and a gentleman and a young lady were hanging out inside the store. The store seemed decent enough. I thought it was a bit odd to see knives on display but they seemed like nice knives and matched the décor. The gentleman approached me and I explained that I needed a few links removed and he asked what kind of watch it was so i took it out of my pocket and showed him.
He rolled it around in his hands paused a moment and said «$ 17». I immediately thought, «that sounds like too much money». I almost just paid the money to get it over with but something told me I was being over charged. I took the watch back and told him, «let me compare prices at other places and maybe I’ll come back.»
I walked to the end of the mall to Sears and the person who specializes in fixing watches offered to do it for $ 10! After that I called a place (that I found on Unilocal) and without even knowing what kind of watch it was over the phone they offered to do it for $ 8!!!
Needless to say I will not be returning to Watch Edge. By trying to over charge me they have lost a potential customer and received a 2 star Unilocal review.
NEVER AGAIN!

I ve been buying from Freddy for years now. Today is a special day. I am shopping for my sons high school graduation. When Fred ask what my son was going to college for I told him his goal to become a Navy officer and a pilot. Freddy suggested a Navy pilot WW2 remake watch by Citzen. This was the perfect gift! I highly recommend this place for their friendliness and high knowledge in every piece they sell.

I was directed to this shop by Sears Watch & Jewelry Repair because they no longer carry the watch battery I needed. Watch Edge installed a new battery in less than 5 minutes. Service was polite and cost was very reasonable.
They have a selection of watches and knives for sale in addition to doing jewelry repair and engraving. No sales pressure either. Good experience here.
