This is an updated review for one of the cinder room members. This is the right location. You guys are located off of Carlsbad village and Carlsbad Blvd on the corner in the large blue building. You all do have pretty bad ventilation. When I walk in there always a wall of smoke that it’s you in the face. Compared to the Livejng Room in La Jolla and other locations I never have this happen.

The location for this shisha lounge is perfect props to the owner. Anyways parking takes a while to find but the reason why I say this is a perfect location is the large number of bars near by so it is a good place to sober up. The reason for the missing 3 stars was the quality of service up front and in back. The waitresses lacked proper hookah bar etiquette. We’re busy chatting to coworkers rather than clients. I claim that the back was terrible because they couldn’t pack a bowl for their lives. I asked for pon and pineapple mix they gave me pomberry and pineapple first. /fail. They remade the bowl solely pon but were very skimpy on the tobacco, a good bowl of pon can last between 2 –3hours, their bowl lasted 30 minutes till it died.. The interior design is amazing so much so I felt bad blowing my coals in fear sparks would hit the chairs. Overall the owner is a brilliant business man however his staff needs to learn more in order to make the visit worth it.

A modern hookah lounge that offers cigars, a selection of hookah, refreshments, entrees, and smoking/vape products. Since there are not many hookah lounges in the north county area, I come here often. I enjoy the clean and modern aesthetic, and that there is often a cool breeze circulating through The Cinder Room. I appreciate the fact that there are many non– alcoholic beverages to choose from since I can often get headaches from smoking too much hookah, and that they serve food as well. The service is so-so: sometimes it takes a while for the servers to notice that our coals need to be changed, and so I’ll do it myself and that’s when they’ll come around. Last time we were there, our hookah kept going into a pattern of getting harsh then losing flavor, and this doesn’t happen much at other lounges. Other than that, The Cinder Room is a good place where good times are to be had with good people.

Great experiences. Hookah with ice tip and milk bowl lasted for 2hrs with 2 large coconut coals. Service was excellent. They have a small assortment of waters, juice, soda and bottled tea.

This is the closest hookah bar around my area & the prices are affordable. The flavors are tasty, the décor is artful & the seating is pleasant. They even have a cigar room, which I find very useful if you like to enjoy cigars occasionally like myself. The food is delicious! We had 14 wings last night & they were cooked to a crisp of perfection! Shout out to Sarah! What a beautiful & sweet young lady her customer service was just right, always attending us, very patient & falls right into our conversation so naturally she definitely made our stay even better ! I will return again !

Chill spot for hookah or cigars. Family-owned business with super nice people to help you find just what you’re looking for. Tasty desserts and espresso are a bonus. Nice to hang out after lunch, or for conversation and relaxation late at night.

Awesome hookah lounge! Great service and clean area. I am a regular here and am always treated right. Being middle eastern, I have high standards for our foods. Cinder room serves one of the best hummus plates you can have, as good as your Moma’s style. If you smoke hookah, you know you’re going to get some harsh hits sometimes. I find it funny some people take the time to bash a place when it’s known to happen here and there. It’s happened to me and they will do their best to fix it for you. Lee is the man and Bella will take care of you!

Came here with my husband to try it out. The lady taking our order was really friendly. All the staff have excellent customer service and I really enjoyed the music they were playing. Atmosphere is awesome for a chill night just to kick back, smoke hookah and relax.

Terrible. Horrible. The hookah didn’t even hit. When I smoke I love to get big, milky, white out clouds. The bowl we got, barely gave any cloud. The flavor was good, quality of the smoke was terrible. We asked for some help and told the guy it wasn’t hitting well, he pulls out his mouth piece and pulls a drag and blows out a mediocre cloud and says«it’s hitting» and walked out. I DONOT recommend this place if you wanna get cloud while chilling with some good flavor. The atmosphere was totally off too. Again when I smoke I like to chill in a dim lit room with some toons in the background. There are entirely way too many lights to chill and there was no music going. Again, I DONOT recommend this place if all you wanna do is chill and smoke. It’s not chill and the smoke sucks.

Place doesn’t even deserve any stars! The hookah sucked it made it miserable to smoke and killed everyone’s vibe. If you’re an avid hookah smoker don’t go here you won’t wanna smoke.

Absolutely LOVE this place! My husband and I have been to many hookah lounges and very few have great customer service like this. They are on top of when the tables fill up and coals. Go here a lot now! Thanks for everything guys!

So I had the worst experience here! I was so excited as an 18 year old to go into a hookah lounge(which I already have two at home) but to know that I can go into a lounge and just have the«lounge experience» was just what I was looking for. Not even an hour in I started feeling nauseous. As I took a puff from the hose, I felt dizzy. I enjoyed the flavor cause I usually use mpink lemonade”, it was just something in the area made me puke. NOTCOOLBRO! But I went back a second time to just go along with friends, and usually I can get cool tricks and stuff with just a few hits, I didn’t get any in this other night. I think I should just stick to my usual hookah smoking at my house, because the experiences that I had were not so cool. Oh another thing would be that the music selection was BORING! I think the only good thing about this place that I can say, is «great customer service, and really cool people»! Although my company was pretty cool, it was still the most embarrassing times that I’ve had.

This place is fun. It’s just a cool weird experience and I’m stoked that we have it in downtown Carlsbad. We were headed down to San Diego, but rather than get stuck in traffic we took a hookah break. There’s a full menu of flavors — actually it’s intimidating. Not only that, you can choose from a host of add ons that I would have never considered. Milk instead of water for the hookah? Ok! Ice cooled tip? Sure I guess! Smooth! They’ve also got lots of cigars. I don’t get an opportunity to have a cigar often so when I get one I take it. The air filters take all the smoke out of the room very fast. They’ve or drinks and food too. I didn’t try the food, but I got a coffee and it was smooth. In fact it was so good I’d go just for the coffee. Dare I say better than Vinaka two doors down?! So an hour or two later, we headed down to San Diego on a Friday night — traffic free!

WHoooooo Areeeeee Youuuuu? I always feel like Alice and Wonderland at a Hookah Lounge. I DO feel like I’m not myself there — as coughing does occur just like the cartoon curious blond and I feel a tad out of place like I’m not cool enough to blow rings through the air… But! I like it, maybe eventually I’ll fit right in. Take my novice review as a tip to try it out, thats what I’ve done and I’ve returned a few times and it’s a novel experience. The service is top notch, they bring you all the smoking bling like ice tips and flavors galore. They change the coals and have a food and bites menu as well as some basic drinks. The food? Meh. It’s pretty supplemental as far as food goes, but it’s not a deal breaker cause really, if you’re puffing away like the caterpillar, your taste buds are kinda shot in the moment. Additionally there is a cigar selection and some games, cards and a TVs. It’s a great bar alternative and a fun social hang out place. I applaud C-bad for having this rad business in the village and have gone a few of time to chill — maybe I’ll get the nack of the lingo and the smoke rings after all.

Located in Downtown Carlsbad, this place is tucked away in a plaza and if you don’t keep an eye out for it, you might miss it. I came here to get some coals for my husband’s hookah and ended up leaving there with some cigars for him as well(such a good wife, lol). This place looks really laid back, there’s a place for people to smoke the hookah and cigars and apparently they serve food too! Nice! I’ll make a stop in here more often now that I know this place exists.

Excellent selection of high quality cigars in the heart of downtown Carlsbad, with as many restrictions the city places on where one can smoke it is nice having a place smokers can gather that is so centrally located. Five stars … great location, excellent cigars and friendly staff … Woohoo! As good as it gets !

I don’t even know where to start… Met The Owner He’s A Cool Guy, Stays Humble And The Staff Christina She’s Friendly, She Welcomed Us, Picked Our Seat came And Got Our Order… And The Environment Was Nice, We Didn’t Even Had To Wait To Long For Our Hookahs, got them in less then 10Minutes. And Our Hookah Was On Point, Got Spiced Chai+Mint and The Other One Paan Raaz With White Gummi Bear, Just They Way I Wanted It I would definitely Come Back Whenever I’m in Carlsbad And Visit Them.

Good location, on the second floor. Variety flavors to choose from. They have the Pineapple, Orange, Apple add on’s, Milk and the mist. Indoor & outdoor seats with good size TV’s and Good music playin. Servers are on a roll, and friendly. CHRISTY is wonderful, She has an awesome personality and very attentative to anything we need. They have appetizing portion foods, gourmet desserts & Drinks, but no alcohol. They are open until 2am, but make sure you are there atleast 1 hour to and hour and half so you get to finish your session. They do want to go home too. Mostly younger peeps under 35, but overall a smooth place to just go and chill/hang out with your friends.

I went with 2 others and our first round was piña colada mint: pretty okay, didn’t taste so much like a piña colada but more minty. A little harsh sometimes. Second round was a tropical mint: very good! Much better than the piña colada. It’s super smooth all the time and very refreshing. The venue is pretty cool. Outdoor seating kinda sucks because the chairs are uncomfortable. Indoor seating has nice comfy couches and chairs. Kind of awkward because some spots they kind of make you share with another group of people, guess we went on a busy night. It’s okay, I saw quite a few cute guys so I didn’t mind getting a bit cozy ;) They have a good looking menu although I wasn’t hungry. I got their piña colada sorbet and omg it was exactly what I’ve been looking for all these years! Just a simply a sorbet served in half a pineapple. I had one a couple years ago at an aunt’s house and been looking for more ever since. MAIN downside is that they don’t offer water… you gotta buy bottled water! Our throats were so dead the next day from the dehydration and smoking. So tip: byog(bring your own gallon)
