I walked in and got a great spa pedicure right on the spot. Very detailed! Nice staff. m and clean

Not a professional establishment at all. My wife went here to escape the chaos of our 3 and 5 year old children. She expected to be able to have a few minutes of relaxation and got the opposite.
I’m sorry, but it’s not acceptable to have you 1 year old infant baby at work with you. Better yet, if for whatever reason you justify in bringing your infant into work with you, it’s not okay to let it roam around freely pointing hoses in people’s faces. How this is allowed or accepted baffles me.
If you want to experience what it’s like to have your nails done at a daycare service, then go to this place. Needless to say, my wife will never go back here again.

Went in for a pedicure, place was a ghost town. That initially worried me. I got my deluxe pedicure. The water was luke warm and wasn’t relaxing, she spent way to long doing cuticles and the massage was subpar. She hardly massaged my feet. Plus side, it’s cheap. I guess you get what you pay for. It sucks because it’s such a prime location in the village. It’s outdated and not organized.

I stopped by here today in the afternoon for a manicure/​pedicure. It was my first time coming to this nail salon. When I arrived, they were pretty busy and I had to wait about 20 minutes. Thankfully, they had me sitting down with my feet soaking in warm water.
Tina and Tammy did my nails and they were both very sweet. They were a little bit intense with their tools but overall very thorough and a great job done! They both gave me massages that were nice and long. what a treat!
I will definitely be coming back here the next time I need my nails done!

Went to this salon on a whim, got the best gel mani ever! 2 weeks after, my nails still look great. No chips, no peeling, no visible damage at all. I will definitely come back.

I love Tammy and I love this place! I drive from Esco to these nice lady’s who do facials waxing eyelashes massage and nails! Wow and the kids prices are spot on!

I thought it was time to re-​review as I have come back a few times since my last review. I have found– like most places– there are good and bad. I think during my last review and the older lady I had– she isn’t the best. I have watched her with other clients during my visits and I see that it seems to be a trend with her. So I’d suggest not going to her. I have found that they do the BEST pedicures in the area! They will really get in there and work on your nails and even help prevent ingrowns. That being said– Lyn is the best there is for that. Unfortunately she is currently on maternity leave so I went to Tami this time. My ideal combo is Tami on my fingers and Lyn on toes. Tami did a good job as well– not quite the level of Lyn but she is really good for a mani. I also got a gel this last time and I’m finding if you want a normal color– nothing too special for your gel they do a good job. My issues have always been with something more complicated. I had Katie doing my gel this time and she did a great job. There was one tiny bubble at the tip of one of my nails but nothing you could notice. I will still go around keep trying new places– maybe some place more near to my house– at least until Lyn comes back from maternity leave. But this place must have seen some of the reviews and really stepped up their game.

It has been awhile since I have been here, but could not be more impressed! It was nearly close and they took three more clients with a smile on their face. Not only
that but they did not rush myself or the other three clients they were still working on. Longest pedicure and manicure for $ 35 in town! I will be back soon!

I stopped by here on my way to San Diego because traffic was awful and I needed a break. The ladies did excellent work on my nails and toes.
I also accidentally left a bag here with important things in it– they kept it for me which was so appreciated.
My only complaint (and this is going to sound ridiculous!) is that they massaged my feet and hands for what seemed like forever. I just I just wanted a quickie

This review is for Tammy. I’ve gotten several French gel pedicures here. I’ve only had them done by her and only have had this service done here. She’s super friendly and takes her time. Plus since it’s a gel pedicure it lasts a long time which saves money in the long run and comes out looking great.

These ladies definitely care about your nails!
Best nails in the village! Fairly clean place! My 10 minute massage that I paid 5 dollars more for felt like 15 – 20!!! And that’s because it was! My nails always come out great whether it’s just a polish change or full on mani pedi I always leave happy

Highly dissatisfied the past two visits. Both times I asked for short nails with rounded edges and the nail techs failed to acknowledge my request but rather made
My nails longer very square with pointed edges. The last time resulted in me switching my manicure to basic with no polish so I could just leave. I will not be returning after this.

After moving to San Diego County from Sacramento i despaired finding a nail technician that I liked, let alone loved, as much as my nail tech (and now friend) in Sacramento. I came to Popular Nails on the recommendation of my realtor and loved it. I asked for Laina and she is great! I’m super picky about my nails and she so didn’t disappoint. I will be back time and again.
Make sure to ask for Laina :)

This place is a piece of junk. Don’t waste your damn time. I walked in here at 3:00 on the dot for a full set with gel polish on top… ask me what time I left? 4:45. Nearly two hours for what should have taken max an hour. Oh and how much did it cost me you ask??? 50 freaking bucks… get out of here. I have no idea who you think you are but this is a whole in the wall and not even worth 20 $ let alone 50.
Needless to say I won’t be back and plan on filing a complaint with the business owner. UGH!
