They hand make and toss their OWN gluten free pizza dough and they make a vegan pizza that makes my mouth water! Seriously the best gluten free dough EVER!!! I love this place, family owned, operated and truly Paradise!!! Also swing next-door for a unique wine tasting experience at Paradise market. If you want quality over quantity, then Paradise Pizza is the spot!!!

I’ve tried different items on there menu and I have not been disappointed at all. The employees are great. The Manager Juan has always been very helpful and always very friendly. He has made my visits there enjoyable. I would definitely recommend people to try this place out.

Ordered a large vegan pizza for delivery. Asked for pesto instead of marinara and no bell peppers. Was told the vegan has no bell peppers. Cool. Waited one hour, called and was told the driver was looking for the house. Called half an hour later and was told the order was going to be free and there was a driver on the way who had to delivered to our location before. Ok. Drove to their location 20 minutes later(which is only 5 minutes away) and was told the pizza was delivered to the wrong house. Guy at the front said sorry sorry sorry and made us our custom vegan on the spot, with complimentary garlic bread and a drink. Finally get home two hours later, at 11pm, ready to eat. Pop open the box, and what do I see. Red and green bell peppers. One person’s paradise is another’s hell.

Place is such a love hate relationship. Love their speciality pizzas, hate that they run out ie Brie Bliss, or discontinue blue bliss. Love that I live less than 2 miles away, hate that I have to pay a surcharge for delivery. Love the gourmet store next door, hate the gourmet store next door with all these fabulous things to buy and try and then I never know how to use it again. Love the pizza, hate the salads. Oh well. Great pizza!

Our family loves this hidden Gem when passing through Carlsbad. Not only are the variety of pizza that they offer are super yummy but while you wait you can enjoy a bottle of wine next door at their wine and cheese bar where their selection is quite excellent. Thanks team Paradise for taking care of our Davis, Ca. family. J Aboytes

Decided I’d knock these guys down a bit after receiving a message from Juan, apparently an employee/manager there. His message said«You complain too much, maybe you should talk to a manager before posing in Unilocal.Just a suggestion» He’s somewhat right, I do complain too much… especially when the item(s) 1. Are a bad value. 2. When the service is bad. 3. Poor quality. The funny part here is that I didn’t read any other reviews until after I posted mine. But, ironically most of the negative ones were pretty much verbatim. One would think that instead of sending a message to me saying I complain too much, he might have apologized for the issues and made an attempt to rectify the situation. Or, even better… heed all the other similar reviews and make some adjustments to offer a better product and guess what… These negative reviews wouldn’t be posted. Decided to give these guys a call and try something new. Got a medium ½ Canadian Bacon, ½ pepperoni with a side of jalapeño poppers. Came out to $ 25 which after seeing the size of the pizza was way out of line. The Good: The jalapeño poppers. The Bad: The pizza was terrible. Was small for a medium and had very little substance. They skimped on the cheese and toppings, the sauce was bland and overall extremely greasy. It was also incredibly salty to the point of being briny. Had high hopes for this place but those were dashed after the first bite.

Has issues. Sure the flavors are good, but pizza here is pricey. And the few pizzas I’ve eaten here were heavy in a bad way, wet and soggy, making them difficult to eat with soggy thin crusts. Are they using enough fresh toppings? Plus their mini cinnamon rolls the one time I had them were so overcooked they crunched, had an odd gritty texture to them and just didn’t taste right. No thanks. I like eating pizza out, and though it’s nice they’re open very late, it’s just not made for dining in. Their dining room is so tiny and cramped it’s laughable, plus their beer is overpriced and the wine list feels out of place at such a dive. I don’t know why, but the late night guys are usually in a bad mood and act put out when customers show up. Unless you’re their regulars, then you get priority service and treated like gold, which happened while we were last there. We were ignored and had to interrupt them to get any service. Another group there was treated similarly. I just do not enjoy this place nor the workers here. If you must, surely do not dine in. Stick with take-out or delivery.

Paradise Pizza is(and has been continuously) open for business. Somehow the status got changed to closed — which is wrong. Please feel free to order pizzas — they deliver until 3am!

Buy ONLY Pizza. Expensive. This is our 3rd week in a row ordering from them and we may never again. Their BBQ chicken is great. Everything else is awful and not even close to Italian. First week, we got BBQ chicken pizza and bruschetta: Bruschetta is more like pico de gallo. Overload with red onions and $ 10. Disgusting. We threw out. Second week: BBQ chick pizza only and it was great Third week: Chicken Parm sandwich with extra maranera(that I paid extra for!). It has NO marinara sauce and was chopped up chicken cubes… Tasted lik process chicken with fake char marks. Not breaded. Not covered in sauce. Bread was hard. Nothing was fresh. Gross House salad. I ordered with no croutons, broccoli or bell peppers, sub mozzarella cheese. They charged me $ 2 extra AND didn’t even put the cheese on it! Calzone. Had no ricotta cheese! I called after the very disappointing 3rd week and was not met with any customer service. They argued with me about the lack of sauce and only wanted to credit me $ 2 for the screwed up salad. Overall, I am disappointed. All the Italian food, except pizza, is not Italian and incredibly expensive. The pizza is expensive, but good.

Great pizza! Loved the Mexicali very delicious. In my opinion It could of had more sauce and the crust could’ve been a little crispier but the flavors were right on point! It’s a little place, they have a bout 4 tables and a pin ball game to keep you entertained while you wait for your pizza! You’re better ordering in if you’re a local.

I just called(1:40AM) to get a late night pizza to go with my horror movie marathon. So I called paradise pizza. The Unilocal hours list them as open for delivery until 3AM. The«gentleman» answered, 80 minutes before closing — so i placed a salad order, including a a medium pizza and wings, and finally my address. I’m in central Carlsbad as is the pizza company. His response: «ok, salad, pizza, wings… got it. Ranch? Oh, sorry… we’re closed… click»(80 minutes before closing) I’m visiting from LA. I have an 805 area code. So I have no ill history to this company. Please consider this. I know that late night standards fall by the minute. OK. But lying is not ok. (Call: 1;30AM — Closinordergmy: 3:00) Verbatim: «g

I found out about this place through my work, since we highly recommended this place to our guests and they all seem to rant and rave about it… so I had to see what all the hypes about! This place is located in Carlsbad away from the Village but close to the transit center. Its small inside but they have a pinball machine to keep you occupied as you are trapped in the aroma of the best tasting pizza!!! I got to try their gluten free cinnamon rolls(SOOOOOOBOMB!) If your a fan of Cinnamonbon orjust cinnamon in general, I highly recommend you first try their gluten free cinnamon rolls, you will not be disappointed! I also order a large pepperoni pizza just to see how it is, and boy let me tell you… im in love with their pizza! I even love Dominoes too, but Paradise Pizza is number one in my book!

Whenever the wife is craving Gluten-free pizza this is our go to place. They never fail to make a great product. I don’t have to eat gluten free so I always get my own pizza and it’s also always fantastic. Coming from the east coast pizza is one of my favorites and Paradise pizza always knocks it out of the park. Also their Gluten-free cinnamon rolls are fantastic

We’ve been coming here for years. But, until tonight preferred the take away because the table seating at the pizza shop is spare and it’s loud. However, I’ve been popping in to the Paradise cheese and wine shop«next door» for party accoutrements and love the calmness there. Mike is typically there and his friendly nature makes all the difference. Tonight my family if five had our pizza brought over to the«dining room». It was the most relaxing, lovely, calm and friendly dinner we’ve had in a long time. We could visit with Mike, the kids could lounge on sofas and read or play gently in the kiddy corner and we could relax. No stress at dinner makes me a happy mom! My kids said«yum!» About the Greek salad and my husband finished his entire pizza — a rarity. Thanks Paradise.

Nice thin crust with the right combination of chewy and soft, marinara sauce is the exact flavor combo that I hope for in all pizza and high quality cheeses and Pepperoni’s to top off the perfect pizza. You have to pay the delicious tax for these bad boys. Its $ 20 for a large, 8 slice pizza but with every dollar. Service is always friendly. Wait can be a little long at peak hours but that is to be expected at any decent restaurant.
