Brows by Holly

I have been to all waxing boutiques with cutesy names in Carlsbad, but they felt a little lacking in personal service. I discovered Holly on Unilocal and I’m glad I did. Her office is very zen and peaceful and she is easy to talk to. I had all but given up on having decent looking brows and she worked wonders on them. I almost want to keep her a secret because she is already in demand, but she deserves the good reviews!

This was my first time visiting Holly. I made an appointment and she took me early. Holly has a little friendly dog in her room, Lola. I love dogs, so I was very happy. Holly is very nice and easy to talk with. She did a great job on my brows. It is a little expensive.
I will be back.

Holly is so great! So has a beautiful and comfortable space. She makes my brows always look on point and she has the best cream to prevent breakouts. Love Holly!

I have never consistently kept up with my eyebrows… until I met Holly, now I am obsessed with getting them done every 2 – 3 weeks. Game changer! Between the amazing professionalism, talent, beautiful private room and great location, you will not be disappointed. Holly is the best!

Holly is amazing! If you want your brows done right, get to Holly! She is so sweet and professional, she texts you the day before your appointment to make sure it still works for you and is always on time. My brows always look fantastic and I love that she tints because I never have to worry about coloring them in! Can’t go wrong with her!!! Book asap!

I have VERY challenging, sparse brows and haven’t had them groomed in quite some time. I also can’t get them waxed (not much too wax, and retin-​a user), so they have to be plucked. I went to see Holly a few days ago, and she was fabulous. She told me exactly what she was going to do before she did it, and was very thorough. I still have to use a little powder to fill in the bare spots, but she made them far less noticeable. I already gave a friend Holly’s number, to get her brows done. I will definitely be back.

I’m super crazy about my eyebrows, I also just moved here & it’s super hard to find someone I can trust with my eyebrows. Holly was so sweet and totally understood what type of eyebrow shape I wanted. She really takes her time with your eyebrows and she wasn’t expensive at all. My previous eyebrow lady messed my eyebrows up but holly recovered them amazingly! Looking forward to getting them done by holly again

Like some others who have written reviews, I also found Holly on Unilocal.Besides being welcoming and friendly, Holly is great at what she does. You can tell that she really takes pride in her work and she wants her clients to be completely satisfied. During my first visit, Holly made sure to listen to what I wanted, but also explained what would work best for my face/​natural brow shape. After she was finished shaping and filling in my brows, she walked me through how we would continue to work on growing in my brows just a tad bit more. All I can say is, go see Holly. You will not regret it. Someone called her the «Brow Fairy» in another review, and that person was so right!

I’ve been going to Holly for several years, and I won’t let anyone else touch my brows. She is the BEST! You can tell she is an expert, making sure your brows are the ideal shape for your face, listening to your concerns, and always making them look their best. I get compliments on how beautiful my brows are. She is also very sweet and personable, a genuine person. Only trust Holly for your brows, you will love her!

Holly is amazing!!! I found her on Unilocal and was not disappointed! I am super picky about my eye brows and finding a new aesthetician. Holly was really nice, listened to my concerns and then worked her magic! Beautifully shaped perfect brows! She has a gentle touch and pays close attention to detail.
I’m sad I’m only in town for a limited time. I definitely would see holly regularly if she was closer. Definitely will do the 1.5 hour drive whenever possible to see her!

I LOVE HOLLY! She’s the best in CA and I am super picky about my eyebrows. I live in Scottsdale, AZ and spend the summers in California. I was so stressed about finding someone with talent in the area of Encinitas and Carlsbad. I went through several horrible experiences and I was SO happy to finally find Holly! I’ve seen Holy a few times now for my brows in her wonderful somewhat new location. What a great spot. She has the cutest room done up for us gals to feel pampered getting eyebrows waxed. It doesn’t always have to be about pain lol. Holy is so great at what she does. My eyebrows will only be touched by her. Not only is she great at what she does but she is the sweetest girl you will meet. My schedule with a toddler is so hectic and I almost never can make an actual appt, but Holy has always made time for me even when booked solid. I can’t thank her enough but I can let you all know what a wonderful experience you will have if you’re on here looking for a new brow waxer. Look no further. I can’t say enough about Brows by Holy. I’ve been to numerous places and what a waste of time. Stick to Holy and your brows will be jolly :)

Oh my goodness! Holly is amazing. I was a waxing virgin and Holly helped ease me into this new to me beauty routine. She really takes her time to do her best work, considering the natural shape of your brow and symmetry with your face. I was impressed after visit #1, but I saw her again this week and asked about brow makeup. She made an amazing recommendation and applied it for me. Holly is great at what she does. I have been going to her for years and I wont let another person touch my brows. I am a hairstylist and I recommend all of my clients to her. Being blessed with Italian genes, I’ve been getting waxed for most of my adult life. I’ve tried many different brow and waxing places and have finally found someone that I can stick with.
I started going to Holly when she worked at Ulta (a friend recommended her) in 2012. When she opened her own spot in Carlsbad, I was so excited! The ambiance at the new space is private, spa-​like and comfortable.
Holly knows how to shape your brows to fit *your* face. She goes in and touches up what the wax may have missed and trims them just right. The wax is gentle and never irritating. I often take a work break to see her and never have red blotches when I return to the office.
Besides being awesome at brows and facial waxing in general, Holly is so personable and fun to talk to. She takes what can be an unpleasant experience and makes it downright enjoyable. I look forward to seeing her every three weeks!
Bottom line, GO SEE HOLLY. You will not be disappointed.
