By the way — they were Quick Stop Deli, but changed their name to Deli Creations. Same place, though. Great in theory, miserable failure in execution. The food was really, really bad — the nachos w/cheese were cold, stale and soggy. I ordered a BLT with onions — I got an onion and bacon sandwich — no tomato, no lettuce and it was on a cut-in-half foot-long hot dog bun. Delivery was rather slow(about an hour). Hopefully they’ll improve over time, but right now, blech. This might taste good if you’re a wasted college student, but not so much for a way too sober college-student mom.

Okay well«Woohoo! As good as it gets!» is all relative because its the only establishment around at the hours you should be ordering from here. They are open 24⁄7 which is great if you are some some sort of crazy bender. They only deliver until 4am but thats not a problem for most. If you choose to go on foot you will see quite the cast of characters. Either way they provide a great service. As for me I am addicted to their chicken cheese steak, which I only get with all of the fixings or «fully loaded.»

When it’s five in the morning, there is NO other place in Carlisle, PA that will deliver Bazooka Bubble Gum in a tube, an orange Gatorade and a bottle of Advil straight to your door. Whatever you want, if it’s within their power, you got it – and quick. I mean it. These guys became like extended family to me during my time at Dickinson College. I was warned about Deli C when I was a freshman. «Pick your poison,» someone told me. «Mine was the cheeseburger sub, and now I’m 20 lbs. heavier.» But it’s almost worth the inevitable weight gain to know that you can always count on Deli C to deliver fine(well, maybe not *fine*) foods and other items to your doorstep each night when all the other businesses have turned their backs on you.
