The hotel is outdated and has a funky musty smell to it that had even seeped into the towels. Our room had outdated furniture. The bed was old with cheap polyester pillows and blankets. The bathroom was an adventure. Make sure to look for an instruction card of «how to turn on the shower» somewhere located in the bathroom. If you can’t find it: Good luck. You will need it. I had to tug on the sink stopper in the bathroom as the water would not drain while brushing my teeth. I almost threw up when the stopper popped out of the sink. It was covered with grime, soap residue and mold. I posted a picture of it… The sink«underneath» looked almost like the stopper. Grimy and dirty. The toilet was not clean. The toilet seat had brown stains underneath… When we walked into the breakfast area the next morning we where greeted by a cheery staff member. What I didn’t like was that she was overbearing friendly which might have had something to do with her homemade tip jar made of a styrofoam coffee cup with a taped cardboard sign on top reading«Tips please» sitting next to the coffee maker. At one point she went overboard by making Belgium waffles — then cutting them in pieces with her bare hands — no gloves– placing them on plates waking from table to table offering them to guests. Yuck! I would never stay there again and cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

For the price($ 100 the first night, $ 74 the next two) this place was fine for what we needed it for. The employees were great, very helpful. Room was clean, didn’t have any problems with smell or noise or anything. AC worked well, wifi always available. Only major problem was the bed: hard as a board.

Average place. Washer worked, but dryer out of order. They knew, but wouldn’t put a sign on it. We were backpacking, so had no transportation. They had a shuttle, but he wouldn’t give us a ride to the medical clinic which was a half mile away. We walked it in a storm. Interestingly, as a consolidation prize, he told us that his son was a doctor and he felt that my girlfriend would be fine without going to the clinic. Uh, thanks for that, but unfortunately the doctor didn’t agree. :) All in all, the place was OK although I’ve stayed in nicer for less. The rest of the staff were really nice. Their breakfast did have sausage and preshaped scrambled eggs, so a step up from muffins.

this hotel was a true disappointment the rate for the evening we stayed was $ 109 for double beds and $ 114 for king beds— let me tell you this hotel does not justify these prices. The front desk guy was very short on the phone. As we settled in the air did not work at first and The TV channels were not as described. The soap was so small it barely could provide suds for two. How can they ask these prices for this level of accommodation and service? I stayed in a downtown Marriott in Baltimore for the same price and this place thinks it can command that rate? Creepy housekeeper followed me to my room. Beware.

Our room smelled like backed up pipes. Or, if you prefer, like fast food taco aftermath. The smell never really went away, and we really think it was some kind of plumbing problem. Just nasty. Also, their wireless was down. Well, nearly. We asked about it, and they said it’d been down in most areas for almost a month. 802.11b hardware, too, so probably around a decade old installation. One nifty thing: there’s a small video game nook. Remember those? Yeah, this place is that dated. There’s even an Addam’s Family pinball table.
