This place is CLOSED. It still shows up on all maps, which is the reason we drove there today(were in the area and wanted Thai food), but the door and window are whitewashed so you can’t look inside, and only a small overhead sign remains to say that it used to be Lemonleaf Grill. There is a Chopstix next door(asian fusion and sushi); I don’t know if they are partly occupying Lemonleaf’s place.

I had take out from this restaurant. I had the drunken noodles which were ok, not as flavorful as I expected. My coworker had the green curry and she loved it. The lunch prices are great but dinner prices might not be worth it.

Me and my bf have been to every restaurant in the Roosevelt field shopping center, as well as the ones of Country Glenn up the block. We’ve been to Vincent’s Clam Bar, and every other restaurant that resides in the shopping center of Lemongrass Thai. The only spot we never ate at was this one. After some serious shopping at the mall, you know I’m hungry, so we hit up Lemongrass. We were the only people in there. It was a late Saturday afternoon. First we had an appetizer of calamari which was very, very, very plain. It wasn’t bad, just had no flavor. It came on a bed of dried glass noodles which have the consistency of cheese doodles, and are the size of spaghetti, but taste like absolutely nothing. Next we had soup. It was like dirty water with scallions, and tiny chunks of tofu. Again not bad, but it had no flavor. For our meal we ordered mixed seafood with glass noodles(we ordered our entrée before we knew we were getting our calamari on a bed of glass noodles) this time they were cooked. I’m sure there is a Thai name for this dish, but it’s seems to have slipped my mind. It too was very plain, but we jazzed it up with some sauces. The food here is very fresh so I can’t complain. I also hear glass noodles have like no calories. They are clear when you get them freshly cooked, but if you let them sit in the fridge overnight(like I did with my leftovers) they turn white and look just like spaghetti. As long as you have a little salt/pepper and some sauces, you’ll manage just fine at the Lemongrass grill.

Great food! Service is a tad slow but it’s worth the wait! Restaurant is very hidden and not many people know about it!

Good Thai food. The best Thai place we’ve found in the area. The quality is somewhat inconsistent, but it’s still better than anything else we’ve found. We especially like the Chicken Drunken Noodles and the Tom Kha Gai soup. Order it as take out because the décor is literally from the 80’s.

I used to order from here when I worked in Garden City 10 years ago. The portions are huge and the food is good. Since my mom moved to Westbury we decided to go here. The inside décor is terrible, like a large Chinese restaurant, but don’t let that fool you. The food is great. My mom never really had Thai food before and as she said, it was so flavorful and tasty. I cheated on my favorite restaurant in Valley Stream(Seeda Thai) and usually I compare the curry dishes to theirs. Lemongrass/Lemonleaf grill does not offer Red curry dishes, which is what I usually get so the next best thing is the Green Curry. It was delicious. The only thing Im not a huge fan of is the veggy in this dish are green peppers. Id much rather have bamboo shoots or something. They do not skimp on the protein, there were Tons of chicken in my dish and it is so huge you can share or take the rest for lunch the next day. My fiancé got Massamum curry which was amazing. Its a little thicker, contains potato and ground nuts. My mom got a noodle dish which was great too. She was very impressed and was so happy to learn they deliver. The prices are low for the portion size, and the dishes come with rice(unlike Seeda Thai). The place was packed when we went in there which was also a great sign. Although this is in a strip mall, and they deliver it is high quality, large portions. Definitely worth a try.

I really am confused about why this place has a 3 star rating, it is much better. We were in the mood for thai and we weren’t in flushing, we normally go to the Red Lobster right next to it. We got here about an hour before closing. The joked about rushing us, but the kitchen was about to close. There were so many great choices. I had a hard time deciding. We got the standard Pad Thai, it was good, very light on the fish sauce and not too sweet. I was looking for somthing different and ordered the shrimp with pineapple curry. WOW! Probably one of the best dishes I have ever eaten period. One word coconut milk! And jumbo shrimp, greenbeans and sweet pineapple. Delicious. Finished it off with my green tea. I left very satisified. Will definitely go back to try the calamari salad. Sorry no pics, it was that good. Next time!

I started a job, that is approximately, a quarter mile, from LL. There minimum delivery rule, still applies. I think my order, came to $ 13.35, and they would not delivery, unless I order more. I guess, that’s the norm for Long Island, but I hate that practice. I know of places in Manhattan, that will delivery a smoothie to your apt or office. I digress… I do like their menu. They have a few interesting veg dishes, that I have not seen elsewhere. But, I ordered a familiar Tofu Pad Won Sen, it was bland, and the color was off. I enjoyed their spring rolls. Their Thai Iced Tea, was not very sweet, but still it was good. I ordered one of my favorite, but simple desserts, Fried Banana. Usually, when I order fried bananas, the banana’s are like a fried banana spring roll, and ice cream is served on top. At LL, the banana were more simple, they were sliced in half, and fried, honey served on the side. I would order more often, if they did not enforce the delivery rule. I do not know of many Thai places on Long Island, and LL is the closest. I

My friends and I chose Lemongrass grill primarily because of its convenient location but after eating there, I would go back again and again even if it was in the middle of nowhere! Lemongrass grill’s lunch menu is super reasonably priced — you get most of the stuff thats on the regular menu — except everything is less than $ 10! Two of my friends and I hit up the lunch menu and paid a little under $ 30 including tip. The food was EXCELLENT. Seriously, I cant think of many reasons to pay exorbitant prices at places like Jaiya when you can eat food that is just as good here for half the price!(Ok Jaiya has the ambiance, this place doesnt… but for a quick lunchdate who’s looking at ambiance?) Oh and the service is great too… I got my food in under ten mins and they came back to fill up water/check on us many times. I HIGHLY recommend this place especially for lunchtime.(i’ll write another review when i visit it for dinner.) I got through a delicious meal, didn’t break the bank and my friends made it back to work in time– Totally a successful lunch date to me:) P. S. the padthai was awesome, and the basil chicken(which can be substituted for tofu for the vegetarians(like me!) is yumm too!)

Went here on a recommedation of a co-worker. There were some dishes that were missing from other Thai restaurants such as Larb and Drunken Noodles. The Tom Young Goong was delicious. The pork chop was just okay. Food was very inexpensive. Had the soup, spring rolls and pork chops. Around $ 24.

I’ve been going to this restaurant and ordering takeouts from it for about five years. Obviously there must be something good about it that keeps me going back over and over. First of all, I have to say, the price is unbeatable. You get a large portion of Pad Thai filled with shrimp for just $ 9.50. It’s not spicy as I’d like it to, but with chopped peanuts mixed in and lime juice squeezed on top, it’s absolutely delicious. Their spring rolls are crispy and tasty with their excellent dipping sauce. The green curry is one of the best I’ve ever had. The calamari salad is wonderful though I wouldn’t mind more lettuce. In my most recent visit, I ordered the pork chops. And they are super yummy! Overall, I like most of their dishes that I have tried. But I do have one small complaint: the basil chicken was really good a couple years ago, but now it’s way too sweet and not spicy enough. There’s so little basil and too many green peppers and onions. If it stays this way, I think it should be renamed, seriously. There’s nothing going on considering the décor or atmosphere at this restaurant. But I will recommend this place nonetheless because the food is decent and inexpensive. If you just want to have some good Thai food and you’re not looking for anything fancy, this place is worth a try.

I went to this place for a quick lunch with my friend on break at work, and wasn’t disappointed. A lunch special meal with nothing else and an average tip will be about 10 bucks, and you get an authentic and filling Thai meal. Going in, especially seeing the restaurant sitting there in the middle of an ugly shopping center, I was a little worried it was gunna be that Americanized-fake Thai food. But no, it had some great chili sauce and mint flavor mixed, good veggies and actually quality seafood. Nothing too fancy, but definitely a good meal.
