I’ve been coming here for years and I have to say they have one of the best selections for he best price. Everything from Corona to Pliny and a very knowledgeable staff. Josh is usually there when I come in and he is very friendly and he remembers what I usually get and even has recommended quite a few incredible beers. So they have a ton of craft beer. Cool right? Well it’s not. Why? They keep their refrigeration to a freaking minimum. Beers and other refrigerated items are barely cold at all. On top of that their prices are absurdly high. I just want a cold beer for the right price after work but somehow they botch that. Lower the prices and the fridge temp and it’ll be a different story.

Convenient to say the least.
Liquor and snacks is usually the reason we stop in here or often on the way home from the beach. Good location. Good liquor. Good snacks. Right?
I’m running out of things to say about a liquor store. It’s there. We need it. I like it. I don’t want it to go away. I drink liquor sometimes and sometimes I don’t. when I do and happen to be coming from the beach and I happen to be coming from Cardiff beach and want to stop for liquor, I stop at Mar Vista Liquor. Unless I forget. Then in stop at the other place on the way home. If I am going home.
If I’m not going home… well let’s just not even get me started on not going home.

This liquor store has an amazing staff and great selection to choose from. They have my favorite cigars, craft beer and San Diego Whiskey. If you want to support the local scene check out Mar Vista.
Not to mention the are right across the tracks from the infamous Cardiff Kook. Prime real estate.

Pro: Excellent selection of beers and conveniently located and parking is usually very easy.
Con: They don’t carry Tapatio! Any self-​respecting liquor store in southern California should carry Tapatio. They can also be a little pricy.

Coming from Vegas it’s hard to impress, but seriously, this liquor store has it all! Best selection of craft beers and amazing staff! I do not live in CA but visit often and will be coming back to this place for sure!
