USA Gasoline

I’ve been coming here forever. Right off the freeway and always the best pricing. Easy in and out. I rarely have to go in, but if I do, the cashier is always friendly, they have coffee and snacks but this store is very small. Not everything you may need.

Don’t use a American Express here and try and get over $ 50 at the pump. You have to go inside if u want more. What a pain in the !@$/!

Usually the cheapest gas in Cardiff. Apparently they used to not take credit cards like we’re a bunch of savages! They thankfully rectified that major character flaw.
The convenience store is less than convenient, but if you need a beverage or pack of gum you’re in luck. USA Gas is right off the freeway. So they got that going for them, which is nice.

I went in and asked to purchase $ 30 dollars worth of gas on a pump. The guy charged my card and put my purchase on the wrong pump. I go back in and he tells me to reswipe my card. I said you already charged me. He sais he had to refund the first purchase and then put the new purchase on the correct pump. I asked where the receipt was for the refund and he said he would give it to me. Stupidly i swiped my card AGAIN. Today i look at my bank statement and there are TWO CHARGES for $ 30.00. I got to my car and looked at the refund receipt. The guy refunded $ 30 from the cash drawer but NOT through the CC machine. And guess what??? The only number i can find online is disconnected. ASSHOLES

First off, lemme just say: I don’t use the convenience store here. I’m just not a gas station convenience store kinda guy (unless I’m in a pinch).
However, I do burn through gas as much as the next Southern Californian. So I like it when a place has consistently low prices without me having to drive out of my way.
Along with the Mobil on Encinitas Boulevard near the 5, this place has become a regular in my refueling rotation.
Checking Gas Buddy on my iPhone often shows this USA Gasoline near the top of the list for low prices.
Combine those low prices with super easy access on and off the 5, and you’ve got a winner in the price-​to-​convenience ratio.

USA gasoline is A ok! They recently changed back to accepting credit cards at the pump which is great if you have rewards points on gas with one of your credit cards like I do! The inside is very average and has all the essentials for a gas station. Beer selections is limited but it will get ya drunk for sure. Close location to the 5 gives this place a perk for those heading south since its the first thing you see getting off Birmingham.
