White House Pizza

Love this place. They have a cozy casual place that has the best service. The pizza crust is seriously the best I’ve had. The menu is brief but they totally nail it. They use quality ingredients and throw each pie with total love. I can’t wait for summer so I can hang out in the outdoor seating area and people watch downtown Carbondale!

Had lunch. Appetizer and pizza… perfect!!! So delicious and awesome service. One of my favorites!

Patio dining for lunch with the family was a treat. The lunch combos were amazing, pizza was really good. I had a a pasta dish and was blown away with the fresh sauce. My favorite item was the Garlic «House» Fries, my mouth is watering thinking about them now!

Was escaping Snowmass/​Aspen for the day and decided to give in to my cravings and indulge in some pizza (after all I had been working hard volunteering for 5 hours a day for the past few days at a local festival).
As it was a Thursday my table ordered 2 8″ one topping pizzas at $ 4.99 a piece (their daily special offerings/​deals are great). I went for pepperoni pizza and my partner went for a mushroom pizza. As our eyes were bigger than our stomachs on this occasion we also went for the fried atomic tenders (and nearly went for the garlic house fries).
Our waitress was not very friendly though she was mildly attentive. We didn’t have to wait too long for our tenders and pizza which was great. As neither of us like blue cheese on our tenders we opted to request hot sauce (when we got the bill we found out that there is a charge associated with this).
The tenders were hot and yummy (though not at all spicy). My pepperoni pizza was good but had a ton of crust. My partner’s mushroom pizza was just ok.
Overall we had an ok experience. I like the location/​venue and the other staffers were friendly and outgoing. The biggest improvements could be made with the wait staff. Having been a server myself for many a summer I would have liked to be more informed (when items have an additional charge) as well as be greeted warmly and thanked for my business.
Not sure I’ll be back the next time I am out that way however the happy hour «$ 2.99 TIME» specials may entice me to give the business another try.

Spinart dip for starters was excellent. Link lovers pie was delicious. The sausage was fresh and has a little kick. My favorite was the Thai pie. All the flavors of Thailand in pizza form. It was outstanding!

Very tasty pizza, we ordered a spinach one and a tomato one because that we had a vegetarian friend in the group, veggie pizza never appeals to me but these two are indeed very good! Love the strong cheese and I even eat up the crusts lol

I was looking forward to eating here based on other reviews. The place looked very nice from the outside, with outdoor seating on a nice veranda. We asked to be seated inside due to the heat. The food was great and the atmosphere friendly. However, our waitress was horrible. She took forever to take our order and then we didn’t see her again until we were almost done eating. I had to ask another waitress to refill our drinks and even when our waitress returned, she never asked if we needed anything. Just brought the check. I really wanted to give this place a better review and maybe it was just a bad day for the waitress, but I was a little disappointed.

After eating here several times as a local. I have the following comments.
Atmosphere is great in the summer, with outdoor seating!
Good drink specials. Pizza is good, but the crust is huge, an 8″ pizza with a 4″ crust just does not look great. The adults last night had salads. They were OK, iceberg lettuce with a chicken breast that was used on the salad could also be used for the chicken parm. A couple of tomato slices and a few other tossed in items, just does not seem to meet the standards of a salad for this valley. I always walk away disappointed in the food side of this restaurant. The chef and kitchen staff need to reset their standards and not relay on what worked for them 8 years ago. This valley has much higher expectations. And the foodies expect more.

Delicious pizza with just a wonderful crust and many choices in toppings. Friendly service and a welcoming vibe. The salads are also quite wonderful. Check for the different nightly specials. Always a treat.

I have to update my review to 5 stars because we’ve now eaten here dozens of times – always a hit with our friends, open all day and night, always friendly service, a place to tie up dogs in the shade, and THE BEST pizza crust. WHP, you rock.

They do sell gluten-​free and vegan options and just like my rating the pizza was A-​OK but for its size or price i would not go crazy about it … my friend had a regular pizza and only from the looks it did not looked like your average greasy pizza but something made with love. its a good place to relax and have a few drinks tho

We ordered the Gonzo pizza and it was the best meat pizza I have had. The homemade crust was a plus. Fun ambiance with the house atmosphere. The cheese garlic bread was tops too.

One of the best pizzas I have ever had! The crust was even yummy. There is an unexpected wide variety of dishes to choose from. Gnocchi, lasagna, penne pasta, soups, salads, milk shakes, root beer floats, etc. Good service in a fun and relaxed atmosphere

I lived in the valley for two years and this is the best pizza I’ve ever had. That was 7 years ago and it’s still the best. It’s been too long White House. I have frequent dreams about you and your pizza. I compare ever other pizza place against you and none come close. I hope it’s not another 7 years before I get to taste your goodness again. I will sleep well tonight my love.

Yum just are here with my family and everything was spot on! Service, food, atmosphere, beer selection, and price! We got 4 pizzas. My favorite was the margarita ‘za but the supremo, sweet and spicy and Americano were all delicious and I had no problem polishing of slices of every single one. The crust was doughy, pillowy, chewy, crispy, absolutely perfect! I can’t wait until I get an opportunity to return.

Simply put. One of the best pizza joints I’ve had in years. I’ve eaten a lot of different pizza places and this place is in my top ten.
Definitely recommend this place.

I’m curious to try their pasta.
They don’t have that many beers on tap, but did have three New Belgiums. I didn’t find their selection «interesting», but others might. I had great service. Saw a lot of locals come in, including large kid parties.
