Papa Murphy’s

This is one of my go-​to spots for pizza in town. The pizzas are made by friendly staff using fresh ingredients. I usually call my order in ahead of time, but even when I don’t they have my pizza ready in a matter of minutes.
So forget about the frozen pizza you were going to get, and grab the coupon they sent you in the mail, and have this instead.

Love, love love the fresh selection of ingredients. Pizza’s are top notch and cook perfectly using their included instructions! I like getting the thin crust, slicing them into smaller sized squares, etc and serving as appetizers at group events. They’re a huge hit and disappear quickly!

I am a big fan of Papa Murphy’s and this location is usually great, but today they missed the mark. I ordered on the phone and they said my pizza would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived about 30 minutes later and they still hadn’t started my pizza. One of the employees was out by the street waving a sign and four other customers were waiting ahead of me.
I’ve probably been to this location 10 times or more jn the last year and every other time it was great, but today would be a 2 star review if I didn’t already think they were great.

This is my go to place for salads. For 5 bucks I can buy a gourmet salad that in an upscale deli would be 9.95 or more elsewhere. I have has their pizzas and am a fan also. Try their deserts too, especially the s mores pizza with marshmallows and chocolate. I would give this place 5 stars but they never appear to have the air conditioning on when I go in and yesterday it was sweltering in there. Might want to invest in an air conditioner or turn it on if they have one. Its a small place and it heats up fast in there.

Can’t screw up a pizza where you watch them make it and you cook it at home! Great deals as well. Love this place

Worst customer service ever!!! If they are closed they need to turn the sign off!!! And I came in 5 min before 9 when they close. And they said sorry we are closed and the last time I came here one of the girls didn’t wash her hands after she had her hands in her pants!!!
Never going to come here again!!! If I could put no star rating I would!!!

I’ve had pizza from pretty much every joint In Santa Cruz; this is a very welcome addition!!! Their pies are delicious, and the ingredients perfect! Always quickly served with a gracious smile!!!

Resorted to this because I couldn’t find a place to have dinner and to enjoy the game. I looked online and was asked when I called if I want to know what specials they’re having.
For $ 10 I got a large Cowboy. They had one w/​onions. The guy asked me if the onions were OK. I assumed someone ordered but failed to pickup their pizza which is terribly rude, might I add. I was told that the pizza will be ready in 15 minutes.
I’m a punctual person. Early even. I got there in 8 minutes. My pizza was ready. I knew that the pizza I got wasn’t made to order (which is fine) but little did I know that it was the deLight crust. It equates to one soggy doughy mess. Though the pizza wasn’t heavily weighing, a fork was surely needed to eat this pizza.
+ service, friendly and cheerful
+ store was very clean
+ very inexpensive meal
+ always ask for their specials
+ pizza cutter is mandatory to have at home
+ sufficed but I wanted something from San Jose
Santa Cruz, please be more like San Jose.

Awesome value great quality if cooked right it a can taste like a gourmet pizza! Friendly staff good customer service. No tip jar though bummer dude.

The staff here are so friendly, especially the boy Marcus on the register! That kid deserves a raise. They were super busy but he was helpful and polite regardless. Everything looked really fresh and you can’t beat the price.

I’ve known about Papa Murphy’s for years, but was always discouraged by the fact that I have to go pick it up (I know, I know). I was finally convinced by the opening of this PM in Capitola and the coupons I received. I have to say, I have hit the jackpot: AMAZING prices, EXCELLENT service, and DELICIOUS pizza!!!
I had some coupons, which helped lower the price on my order, but even without them, I feel the prices were so reasonable. When I walked in the 2 guys were sooo friendly towards me, and since i had never been there, one guy took the time to help me pick which pizzas I wanted. From start to finish they were friendly and conversational, even while building my pizzas, and because I was holding a young child, they even offered to carry the pizzas to my car for me!!! I went home thinking that these pizzas better be good, because I already love Papa Murphys!
Sure enough, our gourmet vegetarian pizza was to die for! All the veggies were so fresh and flavorful, the cheese was superb, and the crust was incredible. I guess I have to end this review because I’m running out of adjectives, but let’s just say Papa Murphy’s in Capitola has a new best friend and super-​fan!!!

I don’t typically write reviews but after going to the papa murphy’s in Capitola I had to. The staff and the manager there are amazing. From the time I called to place my order to the time I left I was so impressed with the customer service I received. Then to top it off the Pizzas and cinnamon bread we got we fantastic. I will definitely be back there again.

Wow, first time ever trying Papa Murphy’s today and after hearing about so many great things and the temptation of ordering some pizza considering its right across the street, I decided to try it out and it was worth it.
When I first called, they were very kind and had an enlightened tone which made me happy, when I heard ready in 5 – 10 minutes, I knew this was going to be promising. The actual place is well lit, clean, a good size, really pleasing to the eye and the girl who rang up our order up Kendra, was adorable and super nice, she even had the courtesy to ask if it was our first time we ever had Papa Murphy’s and told us how to bake it, props to you.
On our way back it smelled delicious BUT the actual pepperoni pizza and cheesy bread we got was yummy! So good… super close, friendly staff, clean place, delicious food, fast and great prices. I will come back for sure!
