Coffee and breakfast(they also have gelato) — cute smiling faces, great smells, ultra clean, water front coffee and goodies. I have been here several times and it is great every time. I drink actual coffee(usually Starbucks) and the coffee is quite good. Wife drinks lattes etc. and likes them here. They have a nice inside a/c area and also several tables looking at the marina. The cinnamon rolls are big and gooey — and the teenager behind the counter says she takes all the calories out just for me. I bet she would do it for you too if you asked. Best place in CC for a peaceful cup of joe and a simple breakfast(not a full service pancakes bacon and eggs place — go 50 yards over to Pignolis for a full breakfast.)

We were vacationing in Cape Coral and looking for a coffee place. We were excited to find Run Agrounds, I love giving the local small shops business. The staff was friendly enough but the lattes(2) and cappuccino were awful. There was absolutely no foam on any of the drinks. They had little to no coffee taste and the taste that they had tasted burnt. We promptly threw all 3 drinks in the trash and searched for Starbucks. I wish it was better, but will not return and do not recommend.

So many flavors, so little time… The tasting experience was great, before deciding on a cup. Great thing was we could add 2 flavors together, for the same price!

We visit Cape Coral at least 4 times a year. One of the things we enjoy doing is going to Runagrounds for coffee or ice cream. Today was the last day that we will go back there. We were sitting there enjoying our coffee when a staff member went in the washroom and brought out the garbage and past the garbage over the counter to another staff member where the food is served… Then that staff member brought the garbage into the kitchen.

Italian choco cherry gelato… YUM, YUM, YUM(especially on the days it has lots of the dark cherries in it!).

The lack of a Starbucks or Peet’s coffee in the area prompted our visit to Run Agrounds. We were very pleasantly surprised; great Cappacino and other Esspresso drinks with a nice selection of tasty treats. They also sell Gelato which is a nice thing on a warm day. The employees were very freindly and liked to talk about Cape Harbour and the surrounding area which was great for us tourists! Definately worth a visti if you are in the area! Cheers!

Experiences like this make me realize why some places which may seem good once have terrible reviews from others. We stopped in for coffee yesterday, and it was decent. Fast forward to today, and it was a 180. After seeing all they had yesterday(ahem, chocolate croissants and gelato), we were looking forward to going back for breakfast the next day ever since. The disappointment was immense. Our cappuccinos tasted of burnt espresso, and the worst insult of all was that both of our pain au chocolats [chocolate croissants which did not resemble a croissant in the slightest] were rubbery and rock-solid; if I would have thrown it at someone, it would have hurt. When I smelled it, it had the scent of a freezer. That icky ice cube smell. bleh. :( After a couple exhausting and miserable bites, I finally went back in to ask either for another or to grab something else. A woman, who I assume to be the owner, took my croissant and started poking it and said, «It’s supposed to be like this.» No, ma’am, it isn’t. I have spent countless weeks in France and even had a chocolate croissant in the US just a day earlier, and they are always soft [ aka FRESH ] and a joy to bite into. the fluffy dough. mm! This was not the case at Run Agrounds. I was pleasant as could be, even when returning a croissant I had been looking forward to all day and morning before, and the woman would not even talk to me beyond her snippy comment and just yelled at the cashier to refund me a dollar.(Our whole breakfast cost waaay more than that. I won’t even go there.) Wow, cool. That’s some great customer service right there. No apology, no nothing. I got my refund and walked right out. What a disappointment!

Gelato! Home made and very good. Very good coffee drinks. They also have breakfast sandwiches and quiches. We haven’t tried those, but we’ll be back. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed looking out at the marina. Prices were very reasonable. Try it!
