Shanna has been expertly doing my nails for at least 12 years. She is the best! I NEVER have a nail break and I am very hard on my hands/nails. She is extremely professional and sweet and I consider her to be a friend that I can share my personal life with. :) I will be her customer as long as she is in the business! I drive from South Fort Myers to the Cape bypassing at least 20 nail salons to see her. Tracy, one of the owners, is awesome and is there everyday overseeing her business and booking appointments. I’m sure this is one of the reasons the salon is so successful. You girls rock! See ya in 2 weeks!

This is a salon that was started by 2 sisters, and I know for a fact that their number one goal is to make sure their customers are happy. I assure you, if you aren’t happy with your service they WILL make it right. I’ve been going to ProFiles for 12 years, and I wouldn’t even think of going anywhere else. They make it a priority to stay on top of all of the current trends, and are not at ALL pushy when it comes to deciding on a nail design. For many years I stuck with simple pink and white acrylic nails, which were always flawless. Then the trend changed, so we switched to short black acrylic nails, which were cute and trendy. As of lately I’ve been rocking the coffin shape and they are killing it with the designs. I’ve never had a bad experience at ProFiles. In fact, every time I have family come to visit from Chicago, they always ask me to make them an appointment at ProFiles because they can’t fine anything like ProFiles in Chicago! Yes, they do charge a little bit more than some of their competitors but as they say«you get what you pay for». I have never once, in 12 years, had a nail lift nor have I ever had a nasty fungus! They switch the sanding band on their drills every time somebody sits down, and clean the metal bit in acetone between each client. This place is #1 in cleanliness and sanitation! Not only have the girls of ProFiles won countless awards(usually 1st place BTW), they are educators within their field and teach classes to other nail techs in salons across the country. They’ve been mentioned in industry magazines such as «Nail Magazine» and the winner of the TV show Nail’d It on Oxygen is a ProFiles girl. There is no comparison to ProFiles. Lots of salons try to be them… but there is only one! Don’t waste your time and money going elsewhere.

Very sloppy paint job and little to no massage of the legs which I’m used to getting at other places in the past. The girls shared way too much personal information about what she was doing this weekend as the 2 girls to chatted while I was getting my toes done. The only wonderful thing about this salon was having a date with my sister to get a pedicure, the free Hershey kisses and they did offer water.

I really like this place. I get my hair done every few months for a cut and color. The staff are all very nice and knowledgeable. My stylist, Julian, is fantastic and down to earth. He is honest with me and tells me what colors and styles are best for my skin tone and shape of my face. My color is still vibrant, 2 months later! I also love that they serve wine! Very relaxing and fun experience every time!

I have been recommended to ProFiles by a couple people since moving to the Cape. I’m sorry to say, I was royally unimpressed. To summarize: — Very pushy manicurist. I don’t think I could count on both hands how many times she tried to convince me to get acrylics, which just so happen to be double the price of the gel manicure I booked my appointment for. — Lack of cleanliness. The UV lamps she used were filthy. Crusty and visibly dirty. Yuck. I also did not see any packets of sanitized tools being used by any of the nail techs. — Poor performance by my nail tech. She didn’t soak my nails between buffing. She didn’t trim my cuticles or remove any hangnails. She didn’t use clippers or a file to shorten the length, instead she solely used the buffing tool(sorry, I don’t know the correct name for it). She didn’t even apply lotion at the end, I had to ask for lotion even though my hands were visibly dry from the UV exposure. Yes they are known for doing cool designs. And yes, my final result looks pretty from far away(I posted a picture), but upon closer examination it looks uneven and hurried. I was pretty turned off by ProFiles, mostly by their seemingly lackadaisical attitude towards sanitation. Perhaps I will try another location and see if it’s cleaner and have more professional nail techs, but as of now I cannot say that I would recommend this salon.

Went here for a pedicure and hair cut. The pedicure was great, very relaxing. The polish was applied with great detail. My hair was cut by Jessica, she does fantastic work with scissors!

Do NOTGOHERE! WAYY over priced for a horrible job. I figured they were good since their wall is covered with awards However I was highly dissappointed. I went one time and said I would never go back due to the poor work and high price. But I was going to give them another try so I did. This time the girl did my full set of nails in 20 minutes! She didn’t have me wash my hands after she filed my nails. The paint job was poor and she didnt file my nails down enough so they were very wide and thick. She also talked me out of getting rhinestones put on. She said they didn’t hold up well. That dissappointed me because that’s what I wanted. So I went elsewear and for half the price got them fixed… much better now.
