They open early. So that’s good. Breakfast sandwich was microwaved. There are twenty premade breakfast sandwiches in the cabinet. I’m not sure what this egg product is on my sandwich or how it was cooked. Or when. Tastes good enough but bread seems microwaved – slightly chewy. This is slightly better than frozen Jimmy Deans sandwiches from the grocery store. Kolaches and other products have odd green dots maybe from a food marker? on them perhaps to signify jalapeño. Very unappetizing. Weird non food colored dot. Other bakeries place a sliver of jalapeño in the top before baking. That’s better. Also unappetizing is taking my cash, squirting hand sanitizer, then going back to make my sandwich. Efficiency is paramount here. I won’t be back until I forget this experience. Coffee is hazelnut and I hate it. I wanted to just walk out without eating or drinking but its the only place open.

Donuts were great. I didn’t meet anyone cranky. Everyone was very nice. I’ll go back. Yum!

Cup o Joe was closed so we stopped in to Sweeties for coffee. I was skeptical walking in but left happy. Sweeties makes their coffee using freshly ground beans, was tasty and at the good price of $ 1.49. Their apple fritters were spot on. Today we got their sausage, egg and cheese croissants which were tasty. I think Sweeties is owned by a couple. They were friendly both times we stopped in. Credit /debit cards are accepted for purchases of $ 3 or more which equate to 2 coffee or a coffee and pastry.

Nicest donut slinging people! I really appreciate their efficiency. It’s close to my work and they have the best Kolaches. Canyon doesn’t have many options so for a quick breakfast. If you have more time go to Granny D’s!

Kolaches, donuts and coffee were good. The reason I gave low rating is girl in front is cranky and inpatient. This is a small town place but she is super stressed as if she was running a big city coffee shop.

The place is adorable. Very close to my house so, naturally, I would love to love it… But I just can’t. The people running it just flat out do not want to sell you their pastries or beverages! They act so interrupted and frustrated when you walk in the door. A woman with short hair and glasses is always there and I’ve seen her greet older gentlemen with a smile, knowing exactly what he came there for. But, no one else even gets a «good morning!» or «what can I get you today?» You have to beg for attention from the girls behind the counter and you’re generally having to repeat your order several times. I’ve been there multiple times, sheerly out of convenience. The pastries are good. Coffee is okay. If they upped their customer service, the okay espresso and alright kolaches wouldn’t bother me. But if they’re going to be annoyed that they have to sell me their less than perfect product, I’ll steer clear of that place. Like I said, I wish I could love it.

Sweetie’s Donuts? We renamed it Cranky’s Donuts and Nasty’s Donuts. The lady who was sweeping when we walked in didn’t even say hi to us. She kept on sweeping. We asked her a question about the donuts, and she gave us a condescending/nasty question in return… not an answer. Never going here again.

I wish I could give this place less stars. I have gone to them for breakfast upwards of 10 to 15 times and every time I say I’m never going back. Customer service is horrible. I have had one good experience with a younger lady who worked there a few months ago, but I have not seen her there since. If you ask for something(for example a glazed donut) and dont get it, if you ask them about it they say it was not their fault and that you didnt ask for that. This has happened three times with two different people. The food is alright. It really is nothing special. The only reason I go back is because unfortunately it is the best and only donuts around and oh how i wish there were somewhere else. Price is pretty standard for a donut shop. Not really much to say on this front. I wish i could say STAYAWAY, but if you are in the mood for donuts then this sadly, is really your only option aside from driving 20 – 25 minutes.

This is a good place to stop off in the morning and my kids love the kolaches. The donuts are fresh. I like the hardworking no-nonsense approach of the counter staff. They are friendly, but they understand that most folks are trying to get to work or school. The coffee is mediocre but good in a pinch.

This is the closest and best kolache/donut shop to me. My usual is a jumbo jalapeño sausage cheese kolache. Other things I’ve had are bear claws, cream filled donuts and their awesome apple fritters! There are a few tables inside to eat in but also a drive thru if you’re on the go. They also have some iced coffee drinks, smoothies and breakfast sandwiches if you are looking for something a little different.
