The staff couldn’t be nicer. We had the Friday special chicken enchiladas Verdes. The tomatillo sauce was canned. The beans were canned. No pork no onions no cilantro. The chicken enchiladas were decent. The old house is really cool little crowded for lunch most days if you don’t mind that, I love joints. But man when a Mexican joint can’t through a bag of beans in a pot and season it I just can’t get into that. I prefer to write great reviews. We’ll try again for a different dish.

I’m a little bit of a hound dog & when I headed out today, I purposely prowled around to find this tiny Gem. Such a small, family ran café north of Canyon Lake. I wanted to get a copy of their menu but I also purchased 2 cups of Tortilla Soup & a side of Peach Cobbler. The soup was FANTASTIC. Bought one for my neighbor who is addicted to Tortilla Soup. Must go back for breakfast or lunch. The owners are wonderful & very accommodating. Only a few tables but I will make the short journey to try their Enchiladas(Friday Special).

Great little place close to our place at Canyon Lake. Family owned and operated. Teaching good values to their children and how to run a business. Love this place!

Everything here is delicious. It gets very busy because it is small. But service is quick once you have ordered. Friendly atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. I had a delicious Philly cheese steak sandwich.

This place deserves every bit of the five stars and more. Outstanding food, warm inviting service. The owners, who do it all, were an absolute delight. A true hidden gem. The Chile Relleno(lunch special that day) was honestly the best I’d ever had! Blew my expectations away! Don’t expect the«same ol» here… true homestyle cooking. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Canyon Lakes, TX Area.

Simple good wholesome food. Get the daily special which is usually some type of enchilada plate. I have also tried the Philly cheese steak, which was very good for Texas. I have yet to try the BBQ, which is only available on the weekends. Open hours are short. The place is run by a couple that pretty much do everything. There is about 8 tables and the daily special comes out quick, hot, and fresh.

Just left and was very happy to have met Sylvia and Chuy. They are humble and servants of God. The food was wonderful. The Blueberry pancakes were outstanding. We also had Juevos Rancheros, Megas and Waffles which were also very, very good. Highly recommend to make this place a frequent stop.

The best place for a real home cooked meal! The breakfeast tacos are delicious and the BBQ plates they offer during the summer months are mouth watering and usually sell out before closing. It’s an incredible family atmosphere where they go out of their way make you feel at home. You cannot go wrong with this deli.

They have good breakfast or lunch. I’ve had their Migas and the plate is good size too. In the spring and summer they are open on Saturday. I love their brisket sandwiches. They always have really good soups. The pozole is one of my favorites. I also really like their chicken salad sandwiches.

I am so glad I tried this place out. It’s a small place just off the beaten path. So it would be easy to miss. I had the lunch special, chili re llano. It was incredible. I will definitely be back.

Moved nearby and was blow away by this place! Silvia, Maria and Chuy know how to make home cooking and at a great price! For breakfast treat yourself to the D’Vine special or anything on menu — every dish is great! They’re open 9−3PM Monday — Saturday.

This place is run by husband(Chewie) and wife(Sylvia), and occasionally their two sons. It’s a family place for sure. Its the only place down potters creek road for food or drinks, it’s great if you live here or visiting Potters Creek Park. The food: first I gotta say, home-made food. Sylvia is the mastermind behind the food, she is fantastic. The menu has a wide range of choices. But I’m not going to lie, I don’t know what they are because I normally eat the philly cheese steak, I’d never eaten one of those before; And I only eat it at D’vine café. It’s amazing! I know I’ve had the potato soup(yum), grilled chicken(I think this is a special, not available all the time), Tacos(cheap, and has cilantro!!!) enchiladas, there’s plenty of breakfast and other choices. I just find something I like, and stick with it. Chewie is the man, he keeps ya smiling and takes the money! They are so very friendly and really invite you to come inside and have dinner. I’ve driven by and seen a newly built stage/outside dinning area, and a band playing. At D’vine you get great food at a low price and meet some truly special people.

We decided to stop in at this small place because it was close to where we were staying on vacation. I am sure glad we did. This is a christian family run place with the most delicious food ever. They have a daily special and standard menu. It’s a very pleasant place to enjoy a good meal. For breakfast try the huevos rancheros with a side of beef fajita. Or you can try the migas. Both were great. For lunch we had the home made chicken salad on croissant with a bowl of lentil and Bavarian sausage soup. Ask for a side of fresh sliced jalapenos with salt and lime. For dessert, try the apple empanadas or the triple chocolate cake. They are only open 9:00 to 3:00 Tuesday thru Saturday. If you are on the north side of canyon lake you should make a stop at D’Vine. You will certainly enjoy it!
