Todd Longshore Park

Small hillside park with some covered picnic areas, open green areas, and some children’s playground equipment. Parking is small and just off of Whites Canyon Rd. The great view from most of the park overlooks Santa Clarita, Saugus, and Valencia. It’s not a place for a soccer or football game, but more for one-​one-​one parent to child practice. The only two restrooms adjoin the parking area and are inclusive of parent changing stations, liquid hand soap, and air dry hand driers.

Best park. The view is amazing. Good spot for picnics too. I go here once a week. Unilocal wants me to put more but I don’t really have anything to say about this park anymore.

Yes, love my community park. The community helps in keeping it clean. It’s a great family ambiance. During the summer, families will bring their children at night. The gyms are maintained.
My negative about the park, the parking lot is too small. It takes one birthday party to be left without parking. So, alternatives must be planned.

My son and I have frequented many different parks around Los Angeles, Ventura and Orange County. In my opinion this particular park is in the top 5 of the best parks around.
The pros:
Spectacular veiws of the Santa Clarita Valley with amazing sunsets and sunrises. The bathrooms are always clean. There are nature and trails. Two different medium-​sized fields to play on. Usually people play soccer there or fly kites. There are wonderful picnic areas that are always clean with covers or pergolas for shade. there is a fun Hill for children to climb and there’s also a sidewalk that is good for jogging on. There are two different playground to fit the needs of different age groups as well as areas that are handicapped accessible. I can go on and on we love this park.
Cons:
I guess my only complaint would be the parking lot it is rather small there are probably only maybe 20 spaces to park in. It has only been an issue once or twice and we had to park on the street which usually wouldn’t be a problem but it’s a very busy street on a very steep hill. so having a young child and all his toys it makes it difficult. If I were to ever have a party for my son here I know parking would be an issue.

Great view over looking the canyon of Santa Clarita at the top. .. clean and always has a good crowd of people you don’t have to be necessarily worried about your children playing with … Has a lil mini trail I use to get a good sweat on

Nice public park good for family walk or Picnic or walk the dog!

It has a large play ground and spacious Play area fir kids to play.
Also nice for evening walk.
