Best carne asada tacos in town. I’ve been coming here for 20 years and it is always killer!!! Only down side is no restrooms and parking is poor.

Went here because of reviews, this is the nastiest mexican food I ever had and the cashier charged me 2 dallors mores, poor quality meat absolutely disappointed I have the chicken quesadilla, meat smelled old and porky

Good food but bad service. Cashier had such long fake nails and couldn’t even press the buttons in the register and was getting frustrated. The cooks inside were literally arguing. Customers kept asking for their food cuz it was taking so long.

Its good but a hit or miss. Depends on the cook on any given shift. Plus they have outstanding
tacos tripas. Hard to find tripas in the SCV. Sundays and Wednesdays are usually good days.

Tacos Los Toritos is definitely a place to chow down on some good Mexican food. I exclusively go here for their burritos. Greasy, meaty, and delicious burritos. I go to many places that have different tastes to agua de horchata, but Tacos Los Toritos is one of the places I prefer to get the horchata at. The price is reasonable for the amount of food I get. Really great place to go. Again, I’ve only gotten tacos (which are very good) and burritos (which are the best), so if you get something else I can’t speak on it. The only negative about this place is the location. Small parking lot and you have to exit on a very busy street.

I love this place. On a bad day they get my order mixed up. But always efficient, kind, professional and most importantly delicious.
I highly recommend always check your order. Open up the boxes before you leave.

I have been here a couple times but i kept forgetting to write a review. Each time i have visited i stick to my usual which is 4 or 5 tacos de carne asada and a large horchata.
Each time does not disappoint! The Carne asada is very well seasoned! It’s very good i must add! And even the horchata is very delicious and flavorful and not watered down! You will keep getting my business!
another plus is that this place always seems to be very clean!

My favorite Taco spot in the SCV. Been coming here for years amd I’ve tried other spot in the area but none compare to this spot.
Ive tried practically everything here, tacos, burritos, sopes, tortas and the nachos! All are delicious and their aqua fresca are bomb too.
Definitely give them a try, they wont disappoint.

My only go to place for tacos and burritos. I’m originally from ktown and this is the only place that compares to the great taco trucks in LA. Their al pastor is off the hook. And do try their aguas frescas, so good!

BEST CARNE ASADA TACOS! Absolutely love this place, super clean and delicious! Everything on menu is delicious, highly recommend machaca gorditas, taquitos, menudo! Truly Fantastic and counter service is kind and friendly!

It’s good… I had the tacos and quesadilla con carne. my mom had the nachos con carne machaca… my dad had burrito and tacos plate. we all enjoyed it food a 3 but I gave a 5 cause the employees were nice also the Agua de mango omg amazing. I’ve never had it before in any mexican food restaurant I’ve been to but it was so good!!!

Who doesn’t love this little place? It isn’t fancy, but they’re quick, the food is freshly made, their portions are large, and the workers are always courteous. My only complaint is that the salsa is too spicy. I wish they’d put a milder option in their salsa bar.

Tacos Los Toritos is legit! There was no trace of Americanized-​flavors, everything I tried was on point, but let’s back up a bit, ‘walk with me’.
I rolled in on a Friday a little before 2pm and placed an order to go. Joint wasn’t dead as they had a couple of patrons finishing up their meals and a few others waiting for their to go order. The wait wasn’t brutal turning our order around, I’d say about 10 mins, give or take.
During those 10 minutes-​ish, we listened to the mariachi music playing throughout the quaint-​sized space. I eyeballed their ‘kids’ section, which consists of vending machines dispensing stickers and toys for quarters upon quarters. They also had a humble, little condiment bar and chillin’ on ice was:
*Salsa verde (green/​mild)
*Salsa rojo (red/​spicy!!!)
*Jalepenos/​chiles/​carrots?
*Pickled radishes
Venue is clean: a plus, but parking can be problematic: a definite minus. I’d suggest going off-​peak hours or if you’ve ‘got it like that’, have someone drop you off then circling back when you’re ready for pick up.
The cashier taking our order was helpful and we decided on the following:
*Filete pescado $ 7.50
*Sope with machaca (shredded beef) y carne asada taco combo $ 7
*Medium Horchata $ 1.69
+$ 1.46 tax

Everything was packaged nicely and on our way home, we made a quick detour to See’s Candies — sweet tooth was nagging like crazy that day! Anyway, I unveiled our goodies and sat down to eat…
Happy to report that the heat held up well during transport, but more importantly foodie friends, their carne asada taco is on point and while I piggily-​enjoyed their sope, it was a bit heavy for me so I will probably try something else that isn’t as dense. To be fair, this was my first bout with a sope so that’s just probably how they are, insert slap upside my head here if I am completely off! Anyway, coupled with my taco + sope was a side of rice and beans, both equally tasty and good!
All this food vs little ol’ me and sadly I couldn’t hang, I had to set some aside for dinner. But, if I’m being completely honest, I was still full by that time and didn’t eat the rest of the day. I was just stuck with a food baby ’til I fell asleep. Problem or not, you be the judge.
BTW, I did do a bite and grab of the filete pescado and even that was tasty. I would definitely order that in the future too. From what I could tell, fish is the only seafood served up at TLT.
Anyway, if you love horchata, order it here, because that too is a sexy beast in itself.
Overall, reasonable prices, great food… definitely guarantees repeat visits from me.

This place has really good al pastor tacos! Sooo good that I really don’t want to order anything else. They’re only $ 1.50 each and the tacos are a good size… filled with meat and topped with onions and cilantro. There’s a few salsas (green and red) at the salsa bar. Both are good! The green one isn’t really spicy, but you really have to watch out with the Red one. :/​The service is good and the al pastor is great. maybe i should try more things from their menu… next time!

One of the best taco spots in SCV! No matter what meat, all of them are so good. Placed an order over the phone, and it was super easy. She said ready in 5 mins. WOW! Thats amazing because I only have a short lunch break. I had the horchata for the first time today and it was soooooo delicious. A little on the sweater side, but that’s just how I like it. Will definitely be going back!

I don’t live here. Just stop by to get some lunch because we read the reviews. This food was delicious!!! Ordered the taco and quesadilla combo for $ 7. Came with rice, beans, chips and guacamole salad. They have special drinks like watermelon drink, never had anything like that. Their prices are reasonable and restaurant quality.

This place has pretty good food. Took no more than 5 minutes to get our tacos and burrito. It is however kind of pricey. I spent $ 28 for just 2 people with 2 drinks. Staff is friendly. I would definitely come back.

I ordered the carnita burrito and HORCHATA IS AMAZING.
Could be bigger but I guess in this area, it’s a portion control thing.
I could eat 2 of these lol the green salsa FLIPPIN SPICY AND GREAT.

This is great hole in the wall. They have almost every type of Mexican food and the food is great. The prices are very reasonable.
The restaurant is located in a strip mall located at the busy intersection of Soledad Canyon and Sierra Highway. Parking is limited at times because it is shared with different stores and there are only a few spaces.
The service is good. It seems that every time I go there, the same tall Hispanic lady is working there.
