KARE Construction & Plumbing Inc

I wish to provide an update. Since I paid Kare Construction using my American Express card, I filed a complaint with American Express to obtain a credit on my American Express credit card account. Kare Construction fought this request for months. Initially Kare Construction lied to American Express stating that I never paid to have the toilets repaired. When I provided proof that I paid for the toilet repair, then Kare Construction stated that they do not guarantee parts provided by the homeowner. I then submitted proof to American Express that Kare Construction provided the parts per the Kare Construction Invoice which list parts supplied by Kare Construction. This back and forth when on for a long time. Despite multiple issues, poor workmanship, defective parts, and damage to bath tub, Kare Construction has not made any attempt to ensure I am satisfied as a customer. I have no other recourse now but to take Kare Construction to court and pursue this as a legal issue. Here is a list of the issues that were reported to Kare Construction:
1. Shower head was not installed high enough on the wall. The shower head was only useful for someone 5’10″ or under and not for someone like my husband who is 6’2″.
2. Bathtub nose was not tighten down and it swung back and forth.
3. Kitchen Faucet was not tighten and water leaked into the cabinet.
4. While installing bathtub valves, Kare Construction put black grease all over my brand new white quartz and it would not wash off. The tile guy had to return to polish the quartz to remove the black grease. Kare Construction never paid to fix this issue that was created by them.
5. A leak occurred under the bathroom sink causing damage to my brand new cabinets. I called Kare Construction 2 times and left emergency messages to fix the leak and I sent 2 emails but I did not hear from Kare Construction for a week. Despite damage to my cabinets, Kare Construction came out and claim there was no leak. We had to call another plumber to come out to fix the problem.
6. Kare Construction installed a few faucet in the guest bathroom but the sink was backing up and water did not drain properly.
7. Crack in bathtub. Kare Construction removed the bath tub to access valves but somehow this cracked our bathtub. Kare Construction claimed that their worker did not touch the bath tub which is not true. I saw Kare Construction pick up the bath tub.
8. Kare Construction rebuilt toilets by installing new parts so that the toilets flushed better. However the toilets now are constantly stopping up. We have to use the plunger on a regular basis. The toilets are worse than before.
Kare Construction is not a reputable company.

Will use them again, Jack is great and the work got done Really fast.

I can say from a DIY guy this Kare company did it perfect. They went beyond the call of duty to make me a returning customer, their attention to detail was refreshing in this hurry up anf finish business. They were professional and curtious and I would recomend them to anyone. 10+ on the scale. Their rates are very fair. Thanks guys if you read this I am one happy guy.

I have used Kare Construction numberous times and have NEVER been disappointed! The guys are so considerate. The last time they were out, the gentleman noticed I had new carpet and covered his shoes before he came inside. The work they do is top notch and the clean up is amazing. I would advise anyone to contact them. They are great!

I have know Jack Reeves for about 6 years, He has replaced my water heater and just recently added a gas line that my wife has wented for over a year. The were in and out in just an hour. They always work clean.
I would recommend kare and his staff for any job. The are truely professionals. thanks Jack for making my honey do into a honey done.
