Riverstone Corner Bistro

We’ve eaten here multiple times and been disappointed multiple times. I’ve had salads and the dressing has been off, runny or tasted funny or both. I ordered the hummus which was good but far too little for the price tag. Fries have come from the kitchen cold. Over all the food is okay but with more than a few not so great experiences we won’t be back.

Awesome food a must go to. Try the BBQ nachos for an appetizer.

I just went for lunch here on a scouting trip for my wife. Unless I’m certain she’ll enjoy a place, I like to go ahead and make sure it’s her scene. Thankfully, I think this one makes the cut!
The location is what sketched me out. We’ve not done much in Canton, and the map made it look kind of solitary. The college road name made me think perhaps it would be a small downtown type locale, but it’s more of a strip mall between two highways. Thankfully, once you enter the restaurant the atmosphere is very nice. They did a good job decorating to live up to the «bistro» name, and space is used well, although I think it would be difficult to accommodate carseats for those of us who frequently dine with a baby in tow.
The specials were clearly written on a board in sight of our table, but they were lengthy, so having the server go through them was a tad tedious, except that there were some things (lunch portions of dinner options) that were not written on the board, which makes me think perhaps those dishes alone could be in the wait staff shpeel instead.
The food was solid. My brother-​in-​law and grandmother-​in-​law had the tomato basil soup as their side, and it smelled and looked pretty darn good. I don’t overly love tomato soup, so I opted for the bacon fries instead, which came out with my patty melt. I fell in love with the patty melt in college. Our cafeteria had made-​to-​order burgers on a grill, and the guys who ran it made pretty top notch patty melts. What I’ve learned to be the secret of a good patty melt is a thin patty that takes up the same or a similar surface area as the bread, but the patty here was one of the absurdly thick kinds. This is great for a bun burger, because the juices stay in much better, but it doesn’t do well for a melt. It also wasn’t seasoned very well, so it was just the taste of ground beef. I prefer a little seasoning, but I know there are plenty who want no frills (although I’m not sure why that kind would go to a bistro!). My family’s fish (mahi mahi) and chicken sandwiches were both reportedly pretty good, although the chicken sandwich was a tad dry.
The brownie sundae dessert, however, was awesome! The brownie portion was massive and warm, the ice cream was hard and cold to prevent turning to soup next to the brownie, and the whipped cream looked fresh made in house. The three of us enjoyed it thoroughly!
The service was pretty good too. Our waitress was kind, but seemed a tad distracted. She kept my tea glass full, though, so I was happy!
One thing that ruined the ambiance a little towards the end, though, was the overwhelming odor of fish. I have a hard time explaining this odd terminology, but there are some fish that are just too fishy. They taste more like bracken than fish, and the smell becomes far more intense. Right after I finished a great brownie sundae, my nose was filled with the smell of fishy fish, which I didn’t find to be a great combination!
Having scouted it out, I will definitely bring my wife here, though! Perhaps we need to do more in Canton to find out what it has to offer.

This place is a gem! I love the food here and the staff is really friendly. The burgers here are delicious and I especially love their bacon cheese fries. One of the best restaurants in Canton.

Popped in for an early dinner with my wife. Service was excellent and I’m still dreaming of the shrimp and grits — incredible!

Love this place fried chicken pan seared salmon hmmmmmmmmmm love it all!!! Had to order out last night it was super busy and we were to tired to hang out in the fun social environment so we ordered it to go. We enjoyed every last night so yummy…

We were in from out of town, and Unilocal helped us find this gem! There were 5 of us and we all ordered completely different meals. Everything was AMAZING! We shared and sampled everything that came out. Living in Charleston, SC we have some of the most highly acclaimed shrimp and grits. The shrimp and grits at RCB would hold up against any version served in Charleston. The Southern fried chicken was also a table favorite. Bradley took excellent care of us, and they let us enjoy our evening past closing time.
On leaving I said «I wish we lived closer so this could be my neighborhood restaurant».

Hopped on Unilocal and just randomly chose a restaurant that we were near for dinner. We were very pleasantly surprised. Really comfortable, homey interior. Service was good. Food was very good. Husband had the shrimp & grits. I’m not a grits fan AT all but they changed my mind. They are the best grits I’ve ever had at any restaurant. SO good. I had the patty melt & it was pretty good. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was that we felt the seafood was very expensive. I really wanted to try the scallops but for $ 27 I passed. Other than that we were overall happy with our choices and would eat there again.

Really love this place. Have a good selection of craft beer and make some really nice cocktails as well. Always have received very friendly service and even though the steaks may be a bit pricey, they are well worth it!

While I was visiting my parents, we ate here and I was very pleased! The chicken was amazing, wait staff was super friendly and service was fast! I was here three times, we enjoyed it so much! Can’t wait to go here again the next time I am in town!

This is a Great Local spot. Ran by a super family and a great staff. The Fried Chicken is awesome and the BBQ is also. It’s a great pick for a family dinner or a date night.

Outstanding food, excellent service. They have a nice sized menu with lots of steak and seafood options. They have excellent craft cocktails and appetizers (you have to try the fried pickles). All around a great place to have in Canton. The kind of place you would drive to the city for, but you don’t have to!

I have been rather remiss about posting a review about this establishment. The food is amazing. The service even better. Both owners (husband and wife) take great care and pride on their restaurant, it’s perception to each and every customer, and of course the quality of the service. The deserts are absolutely great but be warned save a bit of room after dinner as you’ll need every bit of it. The Hanger Steak, Rubin Sandwich, Chopped Salad, as well as all of the Bread Puddings are among my favourites. Prices are more than reasonable, the drive worth it, and of course if you have to wait a bit that is also worth it. This place is definitely a jewel by any measure.

This is a really nice local eatery! They have a good selection of entrees on the menu and their fried green tomatoes are outstanding! They can get busy so be prepared for a slight wait but they have a full bar so you can enjoy a drink. This restaurant is on my frequent list.

Great meal. I had the Hanger steak with vegetables. Not sure what more you could ask of a restaurant. Prompt friendly greeting. Seated immediately. Great service from wait staff. The food was delicious delivered quickly. This is my second time eating here first review. Whenever I return to Canton I will be making a stop here. Gotta try.

Since my move to the region, RCB has become my go to place for a consistently great meal. The food is always great, the servers and even the owners treat me like family, and the price is right.
If it were not for this place, I would be stuck eating out at franchise and corporate pub-​fake places. The uniqueness of RCB in the region makes it a stand out for me as my favorite place to eat.

Ordered to go, the atmosphere looked nice, they had live music and the staff was very friendly.
The food was also very good. I had the french dip and my wife had the Alfredo.
I am looking forward to dinning in for the next visit.

RCB’s in a great place to enjoy time with your family and get a great meal. The staff is always super attentive, especially the owner. We’re regulars at this restaurant and they always seem very happy to see us. The food is great. I highly recommend starting with the chopped wedge salad. The combination of ranch, blue cheese and balsamic vinaigrette is awesome! My only complaint about the salad is I think there is too much bacon (I know, I know — that sounds crazy!). There are many other great items to start with if you’re not into salads. The crab bisque is good but a little spicy so beware if you’re not into spicy stuff! Fried green tomatoes are good, as well.
The restaurant has separate lunch and dinner menus so it’s always a good idea to go at different times to check out the various options. I’ve been pleased with my meals whether I’ve been there for lunch or dinner.
I highly recommend RCB’s. Great food, great staff and I love being able to support locally owned businesses versus dealing with the numerous chain restaurants out there!
