The restaurant is closed for business. The lady at the adjacent grocery said they might reopen in 2 months(end of April 2016).

I dont know what the one-star review is about. This place is great. It is authentic Mexican and yes«tongue» is on the menu(but we didn’t order any — this time). Walking in about 5pm on a Friday the restaurant was almost empty. Luchadores were wrestling on the television. We were nervous but that faded quickly. The waiter brought our chips and salsa. The salsa was thin and maybe too runny, but was very flavorful and we enjoyed it. A touch spicy but not too strong. 4⁄5 They offer several beers and bottled Jarritos soda, so the adults and kids were happy enough with their beverages. 5⁄5 We started with the queso dip. Also a bit thin, but again tasted great. We ordered a second bowl. 5⁄5 Our group ordered a selection of soft tacos with ground beef, taco salad and enchiladas verde con pollo. All were excellent, but know that you’ll be served corn tortillas unless you ask for flour ones. I don’t usually care for corn, but these were delicious and easily the best corn tortillas I’ve ever had. 5⁄5 Pricing was more than fair. Three adults and a child ate well, including the two bowls of queso and three bottles of Corona, and the bill/tax/tip was just over $ 60. 5⁄5 We’ll see you again soon.

After returning from three weeks in Austin, Texas I was not the least bit excited about Mexican food in Canton, Georgia. Talk about surprised! I was THRILLED when we visited Patzcuaro and found AUTHENTIC Mexican food that rivaled that in the great border state of Texas! The food is delicious! The service is fantastic and friendly and the prices are reasonable! Not at all overpriced like some of the other local Mexican food places that nickle and dime you to death. This is our go to place for Mexican food now! When we can’t be in Texas we can at least get the next best thing.

Authentic Mexican menu and has some bizarre items from a typical Mexican restaurant. They don’t have a taco salad, but the do have whole fish and tongue. The salsa is watery and has no substance or flavor, kind of like dipping a chip into watery tomato juice. The chicken was OK, the steak and shrimp in the fajitas were not edible. Beans and rice were tasteless. The food was served warm, not hot. The tortillas were home made and very good. Would not go back.

We have been checking out this place since we moved to Canton. It always looked like a restaurant, but it never seemed to be open. Well that is because it wasn’t open as the old owners had packed up and left. Got a history lesson from one of the owners, as the restaurant and grocery is in the old Teasley house rebuilt after Sherman burned down Canton. Old covered porch, decent sized restaurant on the inside. Are working off the old menu, so it is primarily oaxacan food at this point. Have tlayudas, mojarro, classic taqueria sized tacos. Only down side is that they had yet to get tripas. Had a dish I have never tried. Forgot the name of it but it is essentially a flat taco with beans chicken and lettuce on top. It was a good sized lunch for 2.99, so I was not complaining. I added the lengua for the .25 upcharge but it was worth it. Ordered two, should have only ordered one. All of the Masa tacos are made fresh in the back, they are delicious. As with most mexican restaurants they have two sauces, the red sauce and the green sauce. Their red sauce has a bit of extra achiote paste in it which I happen to love. I would caution you about using too much though, it is flaming hot and will come back at you down the road. The green sauce is something I had not seen since my time out in Arizona. Most restaurants make their verde with just the tomatillo, here they make it with tomatillo and avacado. It is one of my favorite mexican sauces and now I can finally have it here in Canton. As they pick up steam around town and figure out their menu, I am sure they will grow in popularity. Good solid addition to downtown. You can find them right next door to the pediatricians office. If there is no parking out front, they share a parking lot in the back with the Dr’s office. Very nice bathrooms I might add.

A small little restaurant that we found after early voting in Canton. We were up this way since I needed to renew a permit and she needed to pay for her tags. We found this little out of the way place and decided to give it a try since she had a hankering for Mexican. This is a refurbished house that seems quite nice both inside and outside. There is a long porch for eating outside with 4 tables. inside there are more tables and a small storefront for purchasing harder to find Mexican and Hispanic items. The food, me — stuffed poblano peppers her — flautas, was good, just enough and flavorful. The real standout though was their salsa before the meal came out. It wasn’t too hot nor too bland and the tortilla chips were crunchy and light. Overall, when we are in the area again, I would like to try some of the other dishes here since they seemed to be so flavorful!
