Excellent food with reasonable prices. Love the chicken fried steak with salad bar and bean bar. Service has been excellent every time. Highly recommend!

Owner very nice and hands on. Service iffy but were serving bus load of people in other dining room. Good salad bar stew was cold beans were canned. Catfish and shrimp not good. Definitely not as good as bean and burger in Gun Barrel. Probably will not be back.

The chicken fry is very good. Small portion is a lot of food for a senior. The free beans are good and they had free vegetable beef soup that was good but the ground beef in it was a little tough.
My sirloin with shrimp was really a cheap cut that had a lot of fat like a ribeye. After cutting off the fat the 8 oz steak was more like 4 oz. The shrimp was a little iodiney but that is the norm nowadays unless they buy the best quality shrimp.
The salad bar for $ 2 is a really good deal and very fresh.
The free ice cream was disappointing because two of the three flavors were down to what sticks to the sides of the container and lots of people have had their hands in there by that time.
Our server earned her 20% tip for sure as we were well taken care of.
If we’d both had the chicken fry we’d have given 4 stars.

Fabulous! The salad bar was fresh and the tomatoes were juicy and sweet.
The hamburger was by far one of the best we have had, and the appetizers were amazing!
The ice cream bar comes with every meal and it is very good ice cream — not the soft serve but REAL ice cream flavors!
I strongly recommend stopping by this place!

What a find! Thanks to other reviews we tried out this place. Extremely good service and food! The best Angus beef burger ever plus complementary beans and real ice cream. They don’t skimp on ingredients, fresh and flavorful. Next time we are in the area we are coming back. They even threw in a complementary extra for a birthday. We wish this establishment well and wish there were more like it in Hawaii where we live.

Great burgers! Had the bacon cheeseburger and fries. They cooked it just the way I wanted it! Got an appetizer of onion rings that were slightly undercooked but still tasty. Our drinks were never empty and the price was reasonably. Good food, good environment, great staff, great prices!!!

Great fresh salad bar! Had a burger and a steak at our table and they were great! Good bean bar and ice cream bar too! Ice cream is not soft serve but good hard pack like Blue Bell. Will definitely come back! Great service too. Nice clean and relatively new. And busy!

Howdy, ya’ll. Texas native, visiting from my new home in Oregon. The grandparents decide to «take ya’ll to town for supper.» Rather than the tired old Mexican joint they always take us to, we come and visit the Bean n Burger.
This place has a bean bar, salad bar AND ice cream bar. The bean station has «spicy beans,» pinto, and a veggie beef soup. The soup was so homey tasting. I mean, I’m pretty sure that’s veg-​all mixed in but the soup tasted like it was straight from grandma’s house. Family member #1 said the spicy beans were just like ranch style beans. Not at all spicy.
Next the meals… I ordered the chicken fried chicken sandwich. «comes with everything the burger has on it» so I opted for pickles only, straight up chik-​fil-​a style. The chicken breast was bigger than my face, juicy, tender, perfectly breaded. Took it off the bun and ate it alone. Fries came with but we’re pretty disappointing.
Waitstaff was great, friendly, helpful. Joked with the owner as we paid.

Good food, great service and great prices! Love it!
